I've had connection issues on two Tangerine accounts I've set up, mostly due to external NBN factors. Both times Tangerine's service was excellent, including a technician staying on the phone for over an hour to help me troubleshoot.

Once up and running, the connection has been strong and consistent.

Service is all good so far! My only problem was that I had to reconfigure my modem but they were very helpful and talked me through the whole process and we were all done in under 5 minuets!

So far we have had no dropouts and find it to be in good working order. Connect is excellent and we connect many devices along with television and tablet and phones

Simply I wanted a budget NBN plan without worrying about locked contracts, set up fees, termination fees and in the same time enjoy the reliability and good customer service. Only Tangerine checked all these items out. The 25Mbps plan is perfect in both pricing and speed. I can stream 4k movies and videos, and perfect HD video calls. Not a single problem till now and a very reliable connection. Happy for my decision to transfer the service to Tangerine!

The Modem was supplied promptly and was easy to install.
The NBN connection was ready on time and the speed is great.
Been using mainly through TV for movies for two weeks and it has performed faultlesy.

Modem came quickly NBN service technichans organised and I was kept informed. Speed is great for me. Tangerine phone contact only a short wait and polite customer service team. This was all while covid 19 was in full lockdown mode. A friends major provider would not even put a human on the phone.
I would definately recommend this product.

Enjoying the speed and reliability for a week already on BYO modem. Hope they are going to maintain the quality, it will be amazing then. It took significant time waiting for a technician to come and connect the service (which is understandable in the current situation) and some manual settings were done via chat with tech support but that wasn't painful. The only thing they would have done much better is to have a comprehensive list of supported modems. Will see how it works over a more extended period but so far can definitely recommend them.

The connection has been seamless and stable at satisfactory speeds. I have not had any issues thus far and any initial questions I had were answered immediately. Well done Tangerine.

It’s only been about a week, but three speed tests establish that speeds are as stated as per standard speed contract 25 Mbps. Very happy. I bought NBN modem and other device through Tangerine and they were reasonably priced given they arrived preconfigured. Technician was polite and answered my questions.

No lock-in contract, you can BYO router (which is a must for me), and great prices without compromising on speed.

Our connection can comfortably handle 100/40mbps, but we're more than happy with 25mbps in our two-person household. No issues with video streaming, downloads or otherwise day-to-day internet usage.

The call centre staff are helpful and friendly, and their wait times are so short as to be forgettable.

The online portal takes a bit to get used to, and I found it confusing. But it does its job well enough.

The PPPoE login details were sent multiple times via multiple sources, which I appreciated given their centrality to serving the internet connection.

Compared with Southern Phone Broad Band, Tangerine Telecom is fantastic. Speed much higher than Southern Phone with a similar package. The help desk is really helpful. The only thing I regret is that I should have switched to Tangerine earlier.

I switched over from SpinTel which was also good but their base plan was too limiting (no unlimited, just 200GB) and Tangerine has UNLIMITED for the same price! Not just that, the setup was a breeze since their online portal is very modern and convenient. I needed to confirm something and the live chat was right there, during the weekend. Overall, quite happy with my decision.

they didn't port my landline number and now it is deactivated and they are telling me to go back to the previous service provider to get my number back by getting a new account with the old service provider. Absolutely hopeless. They don't even know what was requested on the original contract. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Purchase my nbn in line, all hazel free and no issues. The nbn was set up with a couple of days. I called to ask when my modem would be shipped (two days after I brought it - I was being inpatient), the customer service was really good and the modem arrived with 24hrs.
I've had no issues with the internet speed :)

Fast connection and no dropouts. Internet speed also very stable.
The sale staff was not very nice but the connection and processing were very correctly and quickly after I paid fee. I expected my payment starts from I applied for NBN even though I was waiting for internet connection. But the payment actually starts after Internet connection. I recommend "Tangerine"
