The policy was easy to setup and to get the right cover at a reasonable price. I have been using TID for the past decade for all of my trips. I’ve had to make claims over the years and found TID to be very helpful and never a deterrent. I’d never leave the country without there cover.

When initially booking travel insurance the general outline of the policy is quite appealing as the inclusions seem great value for the price. However, there is so much fine print in the terms and condition that make it so difficult to successfully claim anything. My flight was significantly delayed and I had costly expenses to compensate for the delay. My claim was rejected on the basis that there needed to be another 50 minutes in delay for it to qualify. What is even the point of paying for travel insurance if you don't have peace of mind and don't feel secure.
Would not recommend TID to anyone.

I have relied on TID travel insurance for over twenty trips in recent years. The policies represent outstanding value, and both the website and the app are seamless. On the one occasion that I had to lodge a claim, the process was prompt and efficient. Far and away the best provider in Australia

Obviously not. The phone operator just said you could go to the trouble of making a claim. This was to be done online. But he was not hopeful and did not offer any further help. So for me it really was a waste of money and not to be repeated.

Have had cover with TID on three occasions, easy to arrange cover, cost effective and so far have not had a claim. Wouldn't leave home without TID

Acquiring travel insurance with TID was the esiest process.
Not only was the quote the cheapest I found for my trip, but it covered much more with additional extras.
Leaving me stress free with nothing to worry about while on holiday!

For a USA visit this constituted value for money. We had a claim which is yet to be finalised. The policy covered all area that we needed for our trip.

I missed connection flight due to the first flight was 90 minutes late, and I tried to file a claim. The information required was a lot, and they probably just want to make the barrier so high that no one would ever claim. Searching online I get to know they do not compensate you if the delay is due to operational issues of flight companies. Fair enough, it is always good to know, but what is the point of my buy travel insurance from them anymore? It is always frictionless when you buy, but to make a claim, it is different.

I signed up for this travel insurance while we were at the airport waiting for our flight. It was really easy to apply and the most affordable of all the various insurance companies. We didn't need to make a claim, but it was good knowing that we had top-level cover if we needed it (and we have in the past!)
