Sales process and drafting at sales time was good, but everything after that was about 2/5. To try to keep it short and punchy I have done it in dot points below;
> 3 different Supervisors during build (2nd was one of the Valeco owners who made a few mistakes; like pouring the house slab too low). 1st & 2nd Supervisor avoided any direct contact, only contcact was via my Valeco Admin contact.

At the start, my wife and I were little nervous in trying to choose the right design for our first home to suit our little family. While our build was not without its hiccups, as all builds are, we had a good experience with Valeco.
Dean, the sales consultant at the Springfield display, was genuine, honest and helpful throughout the entire experience. Dean helped draw up our original plans, took care of our many design changes (this was a big factor in our decision to build with Valeco - most changes to the plan are free of charge) and helped us through the contract process.

We built on the south side and it was a very poorly managed build. The worst communication and still waiting on defects to be fixed over 12 months later. Workmanship poor as all outsourced to terrible tradies who didn't show up, painted the carpet, missed painting behind doors, dripped paint all inside kitchen cabinets .. just pure laziness. Husband was onsite more than the site manager which was lucky as otherwise windows would've been in the wrong place among other things. Before deciding on a builder, we went through all the different company display homes and their inclusions and pricing - found a really helpful salesman Greg at North Lakes display home and then again at Newport with Valeco Homes. Very professional and explained different options, always helpful. Also found that Valeco had the best inclusions, so many other builders had optional extras that were included in the basic plans with Valeco. For those of you obviously on product review researching builders, here is an honest opinion from 2 fussy and particular home owners.
We decided to build with Valeco 3 years ago as friends and family were building with big builders and the customer service wasn’t as prompt and personalised as it was with Valeco.
