Dometic Waeco CFX Series Questions & Answers

Part of the number display has not been working for some time, its not a problem if you can work out what its ment to show, just now when its ment to be on 4 or even 10 deg its frezzing everything both on 240v and 12v

My fridge compressor works and is cooling (to freezing) but the digital display does not function at all. There are no error messages - its show nothing as if it was off. Any ideas. Maybe i just replace the display pcb board. They are about AUD $90.00 Idea's.

Hi my CFX 95 is saying one compartment lid is open and shows a warning on the app and the light is flashing but the lids feels defently closed

Hi, I have the cfx95dzw. Both compressors work on 240v, on 12v only one works, the other I can hear it kick in but then it stops. I put it in emergency mode and both worked, switched back to 240v and both run simultaneously.

I own a Waeco CFX 50 and CFX 40 both purchased during 2022. Happy with purchases thus far.

I am contemplating purchase of a CFX 28 to be used as a LONG TERM, permanent freezer running on around -10 to -15 degrees every day. Mostly on 240V AC but also on 12/24V DC.

I live in FNQ and part of the year in NT.

Please advise/confirm or otherwise suitability of CFX 28 for the above application. When touring ambient temps in vehicle may exceed 35 deg. C.
Any suggestions re modifications/improvements you care to make would be welcome.

The display is only showing part of the number but the fridge was still operating ok until today then it stopped. Now it is going again. what is the most likely problem.

How long should it take for your fridge to get to the desired temperature? First time I have turned it on. It’s been running for 2 hours and the temperature has not changed. Thought/ help please.

One compartment is running all the time temp is saying 26 but is actually 2 ....now I have an erra code er2 come on what's going on

Hi everyone, had my 95 cfx since new2018, just tried adjusting temperatures and nothing is happening pressing the temp switch?

I have a Waeco CFX 40.
If the power is dropped off, 12 or 240 volt, it defaults to - 22 degrees when it is repowered. The thermostat works fine once it is reprogrammed back to the correct setting. My question is, do they have a small internal memory battery for remembering the most recent thermostat setting.
I would appreciate some constructive, knowledgeable assistance.

my fridge works on 240v but when I change to 12v the fridge comes on for about 10 seconds then turns off ?
the battery is fully charged and check the connections all good there
any ideas ?

My Waeco CFX40 doesn't go bellow -14 degrees with ambient temperature at 25 degrees, the compressor keep running nonstop but the freezer never reach the -16 degrees I set at, what's the problem with it? Maybe the fan is weak?

Hey there I have a new 95L waeco fridge freezer, I set the freezer on -18 and it struggles and will only get to -10 -12 max and even when there both in fridge it still seems like it almost runs every 5 minutes anyone else has similar ??

Hi there, my CFX 50 runs on 240v, runs on 12 volt in emergency override (so the fuse is good) but it wont run in normal 12volt operation. The dual battery is currently sitting on 13.4 volts and the fridge is set to Low voltage shutoff. Any ideas / thoughts as to why it wont run would be greatly appreciated. P.s we are thousands of KMs from home.

My freezer side works perfectly but my fridge side reads, what I set the temperature too, but freezes all the gear. And when I drop a thermometer in that side, it reads -16. When it is set on 10. Any help would be great

What is wrong with my waeco 65cfx? It works fine on 12volt doesn't cool on 240v. Lights work just doesn't cool??

I have a Dual compartment, Dometic CFX95. The app is telling me the freezer door is open when it absolutely is not. It’s getting cold but the warning alert & picture of the lid open is still showing. The lid is absolutely closed, is there a sensor playing up?

I set the fridge to - 4 it never stays as that. Within a few hours it can drop to minus 29degrees Celsius. It has done since we first got it only been used a handful of times. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can u help.

My cfx65w compreser not working on 12v but fine on 240v.

I brought a cfx 75 duel compartment have temps set at minus 7 but compressor not coming on and it's showing 25 freezer and 12 fridge I have it even plugged in to 240 is only new has been working fine till this afternoon have any ideas
