We are booked for the Glories of China tour in October, do you have to carry your luggage with you between cities and on the tours or managed by tour operator.

We only had to carry our luggage twice, once when flying from Beijing to Xian and again when taking the train to Guillin. Other times luggage was transported for us.
Thank you .

Is it likely to see cherry blossoms during Japan uncovered tour 16/3 - 1/4/2020 ?
1 answer
Hi Judy,
Yes, I think so. Our tour was in May 2022 and the cherry blossoms had finished. It is only a very short flowering time for them apparently. Our Daughter and family were in Japan during April 2022 and saw plenty of cherry blossoms.

Hello, We have booked for the Majestic Yangtze tour in May and would advice on type of luggage that would be suitable for us to bring. We have booked additional time in Singapore after our tour will be travelling for 18 days in total. are two soft suitcases Medium and two small soft suitcases each ok or should we consider just one suitcase and a backpack each? As we are travelling on internal flights, buses and trains we don't want to have hassles. Your advice would be most appreciated.
3 answers
Would suggest you use the 2 medium and 2 small cases given the number of days away. WW usually allows less than airlines so you will need to weigh cases carefuĺly. Backpacks are very useful and could be used to reduce the number of cases.
we took two large cases and two backpacks, the big cases the tour guides and coach drivers and bell boys from hotels help with the luggage when ever possible.
thanks for your answers. We have decided on the two suitcases and two backpacks so that we don't have any hassles. Will just have to reduce amount of stuff we bring with us so I can fit in any purchases we make while there. Wish us luck lol

Does Wendy Wu organize European and Mediterranean tours/ cruises?
1 answer
Wendy Wu specializes in Asian destinations along with a new South American itinerary. For European destinations I’d recommend trying Scenic. We’ve travelled with them and found them to be excellent. I hope this helps.

Will there be plenty of vegetarian options during our Wendy Wu tour in China?
5 answers
Both lunch and tea were Chinese meals with an average of 10 dishes each time served on a lazy Susie. Many dishes were just vegetables and we did have one vegetarian in our group and also one person who could not eat eggs and there was always plenty of dishes for them to choose from
Breakfast in the hotels is Buffet options which offers Chinese Breakfasts, Vegetarian & Western Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is served in typical Chinese fashion on a Lazy Susan with multiple dishes, some with tofu, vegetable dishes either starting with of finishing with Vegetable Soup. (Chinese serve their soup as last course but did accommodate western taste & serve first). All meals are served with Rice or Pasta. Meals are usually followed with fruit for dessert. Warm water is served prior to meal with Chinese Tea during or at end of the meal & soft drink or beer is served at extra cost.
Thanks Gina59 and Christine on your reply’s about vegetarian food

I’m interested in a Vietnam tour . What are the demographic of travellers with Wendy Wu typically ?

Hi kelly. Our tour group was small compared to most others. We and another couple worked the rest were retired. Older people but lovely. Probably good as earlier nights than we're used to. We were able to enjoy the day refreshed.

Has anyone been to Vietnam (Hanoi) with Wendy wu recently. We are going very soon and would like feedback. When we stay in Hanoi the hotel has no pool and no balcony. Tell me that its fine please. Can't believe it. Not looking forward to it. Wendy Wu answered by saying we can pay $29 Aud each person each entry to use a pool at the Hilton a taxi ride away. And also there won't be much time to swim. Can anyone help or advise Chez Australia
