Love the experience of building a new home with Wisdom
Les was a wonderful sales consultant, during the beginning stages of deciding whether or not to go ahead with the quote, Les made it his life's mission to let us know what to expect going forward if we were to sign, it really lifted the burden of not knowing, he was very upfront with everything and worked with us to envision our dream home, and would offer compromises if things were perceived as out of budget, we even got down to the detail of where things would be positioned, all before even signing anything.
Scott the tender consultant, real...Read more
ly went the extra mile with us, or at least it felt that way, with him we really got down to the nitty gritty details, tile height, lighting allowances, provisions and so on. Thanks to his extensive knowledge we were able to lock down a lot of the requirements, and where there were things he didn't know, he would find out and let us know as soon as he could. Promises made were kept, discussions made earlier in the process were remembered and he would honour those outcomes, really goes to show the personalised experience. Post signing of the quote and after signing of Tender, Jaymie is a star at stakeholder management, she would keep us up to date with the progress of our tender, our appointments and would always be very prompt with her email replies. Being kept up to date and informed is probably the most important part of this whole experience, I love it when CSRs are pro-active and reach out to the client. Overall, I really do think that Wisdom homes was the right builder to go with, without Les i wouldn't have even started this process, without Scott my dream home wouldn't be on paper right now, and without Jaymie i would be in the dark. Thanks everyone for contributing to my future home!

Can't fault them so far!
We just signed our Building Contract today and can't wait to get started on our dream home! We have been so impressed with the service received so far. Les Chaiban is the Sales Consultant at Oran Park Display Village and has been absolutely amazing. We were so impressed with his knowledge of the product, his honesty and lightening speed response time to emails. We have also been dealing with Scott Muncaster, Tender Presenter who has been equally helpful and accommodating to changes we've needed to make along the way. Scott has also been extremely responsive which has made this process feel personalised and stress free. Thank you to the team at Wisdom Homes, we look forward to working with you and can't wait to move into our brand new home!

Great experience, Great site supervisor
The construction team made sure that it was a smooth and hassle free experience for us. While there were few hiccups due to changing of site supervisors during the build, all site supervisors we had were great. They all ensured that we get regular updates and were always very helpful.
Special Thank to Anthony Luc who was out SS towards the end, very nice and helpful gentleman, went to great lengths to ensure that the final product is perfect.
Again thank you Wisdom construction team.we are now happily settled in our beautiful home.

A review for Tim Boutkaska (construction review - Not a review for Wisdom homes)
I am writing this review to thank Tim Boutkaska for all his hard work and dedication throughout the duration of our build. This rating belongs to him and his work, and not to Wisdom itself. Our journey commenced when we paid our initial deposit 30/11/2017, and we moved in 23/3/2020. We had approximately 18 months of administration that was terribly slow, and required a frustrated face to face meeting to actually get the ball rolling with Wisdom homes. At this stage Tim was not in the picture, and he had nothing to do with any of the administrat...Read more
ive issues we faced. Once Tim took the reigns things began moving!!!! He communicated weekly at the same time every week, and gave us a sense of assurance in the process. He was helpful, kind, and friendly, and helped us get across the line. Tim's work was done quickly, efficiently, and to a super high quality. He has an eye for detail, and delivered us a beautiful home. Once it moved on to landscaping the process slowed again. I can HIGHLY recommend Tim as a sight manager, and would happily have him work on projects with us at any time in the future.1 comment

Our home is beautiful!
This is the second time we built our homes with Wisdom Homes.
Our site supervisor, Tim, He is very responsible. He calls me every week to update the construction progress. He is following up on our issues and queries. He is amazing. Thanks Tim for your great work. The building quality is good. We are happy with the construction work.
However, the issues we had are the staff turnover of the customer service rep, we have gone through 5 customer service reps. The pre construction stage is too slow. We have signed the tender in May 2018. Our house started to build in Aug 2022! There are two many repetitive steps in the pre-construction stage. Also the waiting time of each step takes too long.

We are at the pre-construction stage and cannot rave enough about the assistance we have had so far with Scott Muncaster from Wisdom & Vince Amitrano from Hoot Homes. Super sluggish builder with poor craftsmanship!!
It's been a nightmare dealing with Wisdom homes. Super slow builder with no respect to people's investment and time. They ruined the "joy" of building a new home for me.
I'm building a small one story, three bedroom House with Wisdom homes in Masden Park. My land was registered in March 2022 and at the time of this review I''ve been told by my site supervisor that my house would not be even close to completion in two months.
My pre construction stage took 6 months. For other builders this stage takes 2 months in average. Construction starte...Read more
d in August 2022 and by the sound of it, its going to easily continue till May 2020. If you are wondering, for other builders this takes around 3.5 months only to build a single story house. I've gone through 5 customer services reps and 3 site supervisors so far. Each of them take weeks to get their head around what the previous one has done and were the things are up to. They take their time in all stages and there is no sense of urgency what so ever!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

With all of the problems that I have had in building with Wisdom Homes I recently noticed that a lot of my skirting boards are coming off my walls leaving quite a large gap. A costly nightmare!!
Below is the feedback I sent to Wisdom. Lengthy post but it may help you to decide.
I was a first home buyer and had a registered land when I met the Wisdom Homes sales rep, [name removed]; in the Oran Park display centre. He advised me the Aspiration 31 and I liked the design. I was asked to pay $1000 for the site inspection and was told that it will be done in 4 weeks. I paid the deposit on 26th October 2015 and was expecting a report on 26th November. Upon checking on 26th November I found that he completely forgot to send it to the admin t...Read more
eam to request the site inspection. It was then hurried as Govt. would change the FHOG from 2016 and I will lose $5k if I don't have a signed contract. Due to the delay on site inspection, I ran out of time and couldn’t get any of my variations included in the tender and asked to include them as post contract variations though they were requested earlier. They prepared a contract before I even signed the tender and management also didn’t want to give me a revised tender for the variations I wanted as the contract was prepared. I wasn’t even given the option to pay the $3k tender acceptance fee, rather I had to pay $18,500k, 5% of the construction cost to secure the contract before the year end. I however accepted it as I needed to sign the contract and also liked the house design, though wasn’t happy with some of the terms of the contract. [name removed] delay had really put me into a situation where I either had to walk away from Wisdom or sign it as is, with no time left for alteration or discussion. I was also locked in without knowing how much the post contract variations would cost as tender wasn’t amended before I signed. Beginning of my nightmares: When going through the selection process for fitting and fixtures, I was told by the colour consultant, [name removed], that I don’t have anything fixtures in the butlers pantry. No cabinet, benchtops or sink, though these were all included in the plan. When I asked why they are in the plan, I was told that they are optional and I have to pay for it. I clearly remember asking the sales rep if the fixtures in the butlers pantry is a standard and he confirmed, which was one of the primary reason for choosing the Aspiration 31, AND Wisdom Homes. It was in the plan on your website and also was confirmed by the sales reps but the colour consultant quite rudely told me that I have to pay extra if I want it. After a lot of arguments she told me that "out of good faith" they decided to give me a sink, just a sink nothing else. When I asked what I will do with a sink, was told that that’s all they will give me. Then I had to gather all the references and proof that I was confirmed that this pantry and the fittings are standard and it also states in the videos that you play in the display centre. I called another display centre to confirm it and they confirmed that too. Upon some heated conversations, they said OK we will give you this. Something that was a standard and already paid for, I had to fight for it and was humiliated. Its ironic that the tender presenter and the colour consultant doesn’t even know what is a standard inclusion in the plan and without checking they try to insult the client as if he is asking for freebies. Also I wasn’t very happy with [name removed] knowledge and service either. Whatever I asked her, her response was "I will get back to you". As a first home buyer I was expecting that my colour consultant would recommend or guide me in selections, will advice how different colour combinations work, how some additional fixtures or upgrades will make the house look nicer. Rather she was telling me if I want this or that, I will be charged extra. This was a massive selling opportunity for Wisdom to recommend me different upgrades and provide ideas but she just killed the mood with her negative attitude and yes/no answers. On the contrary, [name removed], electrical consultant, was a blessings (however one of her mistake is causing me a lot of problems now). She is exactly what you need in these sort of roles. She guided me on everything, recommended different options and helped to understand what you would actually need which will make your life easier. Campbelltown council changed the rules for the setbacks and house to land ratios on 10th March 2016 and Wisdom's admin team received my file on 22nd March. However, they prepared my file for DA approval on the old guidelines which didn’t exist when they got my file and didn’t even bother to check what they are preparing for. They spent 2.5 months preparing the file and council took another 2 months to go through, only to reject it. I got the good news on June 2016, just 2 weeks before my wedding. What a gift!!! I was about to go overseas for the wedding in a week and now I am asked to see the sales rep again to discuss my options. I work as a finance manager and taking leave in June is quite hard. I needed a lot of work to be done before I leave and also hand over and now I had to take a day offs to discuss my options with the sales rep or Wisdom will not be liable for the delays (wow!!!). So I took a day off and drove 70km to see [name removed] again only to find out he didn’t even read the email that the compliance team and I had sent him. When I asked why I shouldn’t be compensated for the loss which is due to your admin's mistake, he asked me to go to the council and get compensations for Wisdom as they couldn’t get money from me yet as the work couldn’t start!! Anyway, he then advised me to try another house plan or amend the original one. I wanted to amend the original one and he marked up the plan and sent to the compliance team. And again it was wrong!! [name removed] from compliance this time has directly gone back to him and asked to make certain changes. However [name removed] wasn’t responding. After multiple reminders from [name removed], [name removed] finally amended the plan, and again it was wrong. I was looped in some of the emails between them where I saw some tension between your sales and compliance team and then I was excluded from the emails. Upon returning from overseas, [name removed] called me and said, "Mate I'm not getting much luck from [name removed], can you please come and see me and I will help you out." I choose a project builder so I don’t have to go through all the hassles but I don’t think it could have been any worse.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

About to do final inspection - doesn't look ready or anything like what they display and sell
Been a long haul (3 years to be exact) and a lot of "lack of consultation". Find out along the way, and no attention to detail like they boast. The Quality is nothing like display homes either. We are yet to have handover and with inspection due home looks very average from the Street. Has absolutely consumed us and we thought they would manage - big mistake. We will keep you posted, just want you to realise the pain.

Outstanding Site Supervisor - Bruce Fenn
5 star rating was given to Wisdom Homes because of the site supervisor had been excellent, professional, approachable and friendly. He knew that it was all about making your client happy. He made it sure that every request was responded and escalated to management until we were satisfied. Bruce has also picked all good contractors to ensure that workmanship and build quality was above our expected levels. Overall we were amazed to see him deliver the project (40square Monte Carlo) in 6 months. Extremely happy with Bruce and i would not hesitate to give him more stars than 5 stars. He is a Legend!

Hi @WisdomHomes.
I was going to call, but after reading these reviews i thought i better start here in writing.
The rain over the last few weeks has revealed a leak in our roof (into the ceiling). I can see that you have requested some details from Arma S. regarding their build number, I can supply this when required. We received our keys in April of 2015.
Can you please advise of how we can have this leak resolved.
Thanks

Hi Michael,
I would be happy to help with your query. Can you please send a private message with your job details so I can look at your internal file.
Just for others on this site, I have provided my details to Wisdom homes in a DM as requested and they instantly come back with"Unfortunately, the warranty period has ended".... I received the keys in April 2015... it is coming up to 5 years.... what is the structural warranty period?
They are a joke. They make out on here that they can help you but it’s all a scam. They said the same rubbish to me . If the quality of workmanship was as good as they always say in their sales pitch we would have any problems with our builds especially leaks from the roof.
Arma S.asked
How long is Wisdoms Structural warranty for homes built around 2015-16?
7 answers
10 years
What process do Wisdom homes follow for homes with internal damage eg water leak to ceilings built around that period?
Good luck trying to get them to rectify the poor workmanship. You ring them and you either go to message bank or a secretary saying someone will get back to you immediately. I totally regret building with Wisdom Homes.
Danielasked
Are Wisdoms prices negotiable or locked in? I like really one of their designs but they are more expensive than the other builders Ive had quotes from. If they were able to reduce their price slightly ($20-$30k on a $650k build) i would be very keen to proceed.
