Trying to ask about travel insurance issues as am interested in multiple travel insurance. If cruise ship trip is included ? Rather upset as have also tried to call several times, yet never get through.

I have taken out in total 4 separate policies including one for my next trip. I had to make a claim on the third policy as I got sick on the last cruise. I submitted the required documents as soon as I arrived home and was pleasantly surprised that within 10 days I received a full refund of the amount spent.

The information and care provided went well above my expectations. My initial phone call provided a cool, calm response with excellent advice. This was followed up by a phone call and email from the nurse, both expressing a care for my wife and daughter that was above and beyond. Exceptional service, lovely caring staff. Customer for life.

This is the second time I have used Woolworths travel insurance. I am a staff member and the premiums are very competitive for the cover offered. I have never had to claim before and this time oported for a higher excess . However things happen that are out of your control at times. Thank you to the staff involved in my claims and I will not hesitate to use Woolworths again

I have taken out Woolworths Travel Insurance about 10 separate polices. I had to make a claim for total tour cost due to unexpected cancellation due to a personal medical issue just 4 days out of an expensive bespoke fully paid overseas tour that was not refundable. Although it took 27 days from submission to payment, I was paid in full (less excess) for all that I claimed. I have taken travel insurance out twice with Woolworths this year. I also had to make a claim, which I have never done in the past. It took over 2 months for this claim to be sorted out. However, the claims team always kept me informed on what was happening. They were courteous, friendly and professional. The same with the overseas emergency team.

I had to make a claim on my travel insurance after falling ill with a parasite in Bali. I spent A$850 in medical fees on a doctor so appointment,drips, medicine etc. A part of me didn’t expect to get my claim paid just due to past experience with insurance companies. I have used travel insurance many times in the past, and have never had to make a claim. For our last trip I decided to use Woolworths Travel Insurance, not even contemplating that I would have to use it, but things went wrong before we travelled and my wife got sick and needed urgent surgery.
We had to cancel our dream trip to USA, and Canada Alaska Cruise. I contacted Woolworths Insurance and they emailed me the claim forms which were completed by us and our doctor.
The claim was accepted and settled after some weeks, which will now allows to make arrangements to go on our dream trip.

I bought travel insurance with other insurers several times in the past but this time I chose Woolworth travel insurance for my mum after research, based on the brand name, good online review and competitive premium costs. Unfortunately, my mum's wallet was stolen from her backpack when we were travelling in London so I had to make a claim for her (our first travel insurance claim ever). I lodged the claim online and attached the required documents. The online claim form was easy to follow and navigate. Within 5 days I received replying email confirming payment of claim! No further question was asked. My mum could not be happier.

I have used Woolworths travel insurance on three trips. The last one I got sick the night before my flight home and the customer service I received was outstanding. I was given medical advice and advice on what to do due to me not being able to fly (see a doctor etc). I received calls checking up on how I was feeling for the next two days and my new flights home were organised promptly and in such an easy and caring way.
I cannot fault the claims process and would highly recommend Woolworths travel insurance!!
Upon my return home they reimbursed me for my out of pocket expenses and also checked I was feeling all better.

Did have to make a claim and it was processed quickly with no issues. Even was able to get an answer to my email as soon as the problem arose so we knew what to do to make sure we were covered. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and reasonable. Would recommend paying a little extra to remove excess. Made a difference!

This is the second time I have used Woolworths insurance and the first time I have had to claim. It was handled promptly and efficiently. They always acknowledge an email and when I hadn’t received a reply I rang and found I had sent my email to the wrong address. Will definitely use for all future travels.

I have an annual Policy with Woolworths and travelled 7 times. Have never had to claim on any travel insurance before but unfortunately recently had to. Smooth and easy from beginning to end. Friendly helpful staff. No problems at all and had payment within the week

Woolworths insurance was great. Each time I had a query and contacted them by phone, every person I spoke to was helpful, kind and courteous. Then after lodging the claim, the continued communication kept you knowing what was happening. It was a matter of a days the claim was settled and the funds were in my account. Simple and brilliant. Myself and my friend went to Europe and both used Woolworths Travel Insurance. After losing some personal items overseas whilst on holiday I had to make a claim with Woolworths Insurance and they were fast, efficient and more than happy to help with my matter. It was resolved efficiently and fast and I am so pleased with the results. I could not recommend Woolworths Travel Insurance enough and will definitely be using them again for my next holiday.

This was the first time i used woolworths travel insurance we went to Thailand i dropped my new I Phone in the pool i lodged a claim on the Monday after arriving home and the claim was settled on the Friday money transferred straight to my nominated account.I would have no worries recommending them or using their travel insurance in the future.
