Great customer service and great NBN provider

published

I haven't had an issue with the service even during these COVID-19 times. Only have experienced a short outage in the two months i have been with them and they informed me of it and also informed me when it was over - (30 mins or so).

I would highly recommend Aussie Broadband as they have great customer service and fast and reliable NBN.

Good customer service and decent speeds. Although I never do hit 100 Mbps, it does still reach speeds of up to 94-95.

No issues, a drop out once but nothing else otherwise. Fixed before could even make a call. Call centre staff are quite helpful and have provided clear instructions on how to resolve things.

Signed up last night to only find out this morning there is a $10 saving per month over the next 6-months, spoke to some one on chat said they dont offer promotional codes over the phone and that you have to sign up via the link only. would of been nice if the consultant told me over the phone.

Hi Abel, we understand the frustration. Unfortunately those codes are available online only and the system applies the discount when confirming the online order so our consultants do not have the code. -Mel

Great service and knowledgable team

published

Given the total fiasco other people in the area have had trying to get support for new NBN services, I am so very happy I went with Aussie Broadband. The NBN installations in our street has been 'problematic' to say the least. Our unit and others having all telecoms shut off for extended periods. However, throughout the entire process, Aussie Broadband was in communication.
Once the NBN stabilised, the Aussie Broadband team were helpful in not only getting the internet reset, but even helped me configure a non-Aussie Broadband supplied wifi router set up to work with their configuration. At every step, these folks have provided great communication and customer care.

Aussie broadband is who I recommend when someone asks me about getting internet. Not because they're the cheapest, but because they have the best all round support, service and value of any provider. They regularly have specials for new members too.

Best ISP in Australia!!!

published

I was previously with Mate Communicate on the 50 Meg NBN connection, from the day one they were throttling my speeds after 4PM (I figured out by using a VPN)

Signed up with Aussie in late 2018, never had a problem since. There was an unplanned outage a couple of days ago but they were very prompt in sending the outage notices through texts, emails and the Aussie broadband app.

I have also convinced a few of my mates to the service and they all are very pleased with it as well.

If you're not happy with your current ISP, I would highly recommend AussieBroadband :)

Excellent internet provider

published

We have been with Aussie Broadband for a couple of months now, had some issues with our modem that we purchased from an online shop and with the helpful Aussie Broadband team the internet setting up went smoothly. We have strong connection, fast speed, no drop outs, with 3 people are now working from home with no internet issues. Aussie Broadband is the best internet provider in terms of service and value and no contracts attached. We were with other providers Optus, Telstra, Iprimus, Dodo previously but they are not this good. We also love it because this is Australian-based internet provider!! Highly recommend Aussie broadband to everyone.

No support service when there is an issue

When there are connections issues the tests on their app don't work, calling their support number is instantly disconnected. No amount of apology will make up for not receiving internet you are paying for. This is the third time in 3 months I've had issues with this connection.

Fast Speed

published

I had NBN contract with Optus and I was not happy with speed, speed was nbn 50 and I paid $82 per Month.
then I search for good NBN with no Contract and good Speed, then I found the Aussie Broabland speed I get now is NBN100 and actully I got the Promo code for Fist month free ( Like if we calculate for 12 Months, we can kmow we pay $81.50 each month, it is so better than nbn 50 Optus for $82 per month)
And I say thankyou to Aussie Broabland to Fast service, it is take just 90 min to Active my NBN.

Amazing Service and Performance

published

Took the plunge and switched from a big telco, after many very frustrating and disappointing experiences with service. I now have great service (people that understand you), great NBN speed (100MB down/40MB up consistently) and pay less. 1 drop-out (of 20 min) in 3 months and that seemed to be an NBN problem. I couldn't understand why the big telco service was so poor. I thought Aussie's customer reviews were too good to be true, but now 3 months in I could not be happier. Congratulations Aussie on all your hard work. It's good for the country, good for business and good for my heart:)!

How can you guarantee upload speeds higher than 80mpbs? My current provider gives me at best 45mpbs.

You would need to ask Aussie Broadband that question. Myself, I regularly get 90/30 so quite close to 100/40.

I need to change my service provider. We generally run 3-4 computers at any given time I guess I cannot expect fast speeds

Aussie Broadband

Upload speeds or download speeds? We currently do not have plans with upload speeds over 40Mpbs. We do have download speeds tiers that are much higher with 100Mbps down and for FTTP 250Mbps down. https://www.aussiebroadband.com.au/nbn-plans/

Depending on your previous provider, you may have to return the old modem anyway. AussieBB do not stipulate their own modem, but recommend you purchase theirs.

Hi Glizelda, we can't guarantee that your current provider's modem will work as it may be locked to them, however, we are happy to try to help you to configure it. If we aren't successful, you may need to get a new modem. Time frame for someone with nbn already is very little. You're looking a 15 mins to a couple of hours. Hope that helps. Cheers, Mel

Hi, I've just ordered ABB's NBN100 with "casual" phone service included. I'm planning on supplying my own NBN modem router, will I need one with VOIP capability in order to use the phone? TIA

Hi Rob, I really recommend getting a VoIP compatible router to plug your phone into, yes. Otherwise, you can look into ordering an ATA from us that will allow you to use your phone with a router without VoIP compatibility. There are plenty of options and decent VoIP compatible routers out there. If you go the ATA route, then our ATA's (SPA112) come pre-configured to be plug and play. Cheers, Mel
