Finally got fast internet and great service!!

published

Recently transferred over to Aussie Broadband from Optus and previously TPG and it was the best decision to make! The service received from Aussie has been great. I’ve probably dealt with 5 different employees over the phone and they all provided exception customer service. The internet speeds have been consistently high which has been my biggest challenge to get in the past, and there have been no dropouts thus far albeit only being one month into my service. If you are looking for fast consistent internet AND great customer service this is the one to go with.

Great company and support

published

Internet wise, the connection been pretty good, no problem whatsoever, and the speed as expected. I can use my own hardware without issues.
Been having problem with home phone (porting from old provider), but the support I've received has been great, beyond expectation really. So hoping for a great long years together :-)

Love Aussie Broadband

published

This is the second home where I have installed Aussie broadband. This one was completely painless. The first one was challenging because the recently divided property location was not in NBN's registry but Aussie broadband worked with us to sort it out promptly. I get close to 100Mbps performance all the time. The Australia-based support staff is excellent.

Best I have come across so far

published

I signed on to Aussie about a month ago and have not looked back. Was previously with one of the big telcos then switched to a small start up, but honestly Aussie beats them all hands down. When I first signed up I did have a problem with my son not able to get onto some of his games server due to a port forwarding issue. I rang up Aussie and was pleasantly surprised that I managed to get onto tech support straight away without having wait. 5 mins later my problem was fixed. Do yourself a favour, ditch the pretenders and sign up with Aussie.

Really good service and customer support. Ordering my plan was easy and simple on their website.

They are also really transparent and provide a lot more information compared to their competitors about their network and current load.

My speeds are fantastic and are consistently fast even during peak times.

Excellent Speed. Very Happy

published

I have signed up with AussieBB since Feb 2020 and have had excellent speeds since connection. I have mostly been getting between 88 to 95mb/s for my 100mb/s plan. i love that it is month-to-month so i am not locked into a contract. Their app is user friendly and can even remotely kick the connection, this was the reason i picked them after reviewing a few others.

A Breath of Fresh Air

published

Recently changing to Aussie Broadband has been like a breath of fresh air. The service is very reliable and the speeds achieved actually meet or exceed their advertised averages. It is so nice to deal with a business that actually seems interested in delivering on what they promise. Their communication has been timely, accurate and professional. It has been such a different experience to our previous provider. I can’t recommend Aussie Broadband more highly.

Great customer service and great NBN provider

published

I haven't had an issue with the service even during these COVID-19 times. Only have experienced a short outage in the two months i have been with them and they informed me of it and also informed me when it was over - (30 mins or so).

I would highly recommend Aussie Broadband as they have great customer service and fast and reliable NBN.

Good customer service and decent speeds. Although I never do hit 100 Mbps, it does still reach speeds of up to 94-95.

NBN 100 (Family)

How can you guarantee upload speeds higher than 80mpbs? My current provider gives me at best 45mpbs.

You would need to ask Aussie Broadband that question. Myself, I regularly get 90/30 so quite close to 100/40.

I need to change my service provider. We generally run 3-4 computers at any given time I guess I cannot expect fast speeds

Aussie Broadband
Official RepAussie Broadband

Upload speeds or download speeds? We currently do not have plans with upload speeds over 40Mpbs. We do have download speeds tiers that are much higher with 100Mbps down and for FTTP 250Mbps down. https://www.aussiebroadband.com.au/nbn-plans/

Good morning,

I would like to switch to another provider. Would I still need a new modem if I will sign up with you?
I am very much interested in getting the NBN 100. Also, please advise the time frame for this.

Greatly appreciate for taking the time.

Depending on your previous provider, you may have to return the old modem anyway. AussieBB do not stipulate their own modem, but recommend you purchase theirs.

Hi Glizelda, we can't guarantee that your current provider's modem will work as it may be locked to them, however, we are happy to try to help you to configure it. If we aren't successful, you may need to get a new modem. Time frame for someone with nbn already is very little. You're looking a 15 mins to a couple of hours. Hope that helps. Cheers, Mel

NBN 100 (Family)

Hi, I've just ordered ABB's NBN100 with "casual" phone service included. I'm planning on supplying my own NBN modem router, will I need one with VOIP capability in order to use the phone? TIA

Hi Rob, I really recommend getting a VoIP compatible router to plug your phone into, yes. Otherwise, you can look into ordering an ATA from us that will allow you to use your phone with a router without VoIP compatibility. There are plenty of options and decent VoIP compatible routers out there. If you go the ATA route, then our ATA's (SPA112) come pre-configured to be plug and play. Cheers, Mel

Thanks Mel, I'll look into both options.
