Best NBN provider to be with
I've been with Aussie since April 2022 and I've been meaning to leave a review on here, because they deserve it. They are hands down the best provider in the industry (and I've been with many over the years), their tech support service is second to none and their online account management is super user friendly with also many features to stress test aspects of your connection. These are just some of the great things about Aussie just to name a few. Keep up the good work!

Great service
Simple, no-nonsense signup. Good value and good service. Very reliable connection. Haven’t had to talk to anyone since connecting which suits me fine. They have some great testing available in their app to trouble shoot any issues (if they occur). I only wish that the speed test was available in app.

Aussie Broadband Nbn
I Have tried them all from optus to telstra but Aussie broad band is the best, fast speeds never drops out no lag times, just fast speeds,great tech support ! .AAA+++

Great service, exactly as advertised.
High upload and download speeds. Good service. They let you know if there is a planned or unplanned outtage in your area. Connection is stable and i havent had a problem with this service yet. Been with them for 2 months.

Excellent Service!
Applied and payed online on Friday for the modem. By Wednesday mid day I was up and running! Plug and play - did not have to set up anything!!!! Speed is excellent, achieving approx. 95Mbps Download/25Mbps Upload at any given time! Customer service was excellent as well with accurate advise. Process happened exactly as described. Very happy and will definitely recommend!
If Aussie keeps this up, I really can't see who can compete with them

Fantastic product and customer service
Just moved to Aussie for NBN (leaving behind an ADSL provider with diabolical customer service). Have signed up to the 100/20 product and consistently achieve 95/19. At all times after signing up communication has been great and when I have needed tech support they can be reached on the phone in just a few minutes. Service so far is faultless. I purchased a modem / router from them, and as their supply chain has been impacted by recent events they upgraded the model to one approaching double the cost, free of charge. I couldn't ask any more of them.

NBN has improved over the years
The NBN was troubled from the start with alot of teething problems I was tempted to join NBN earlier but I was seeing alot of locals with issues I switched from a throttled 4g connection which was 12 megabits at best I waited several years to make the switch to NBN I seen all the ads on tv and internet about Aussie broadband and thought I would go with them because they are Australian run and owned and have everything you could ever need from a ISP I got the fetch streaming box the mighty one and NBN 100 so far I have had zero issues. awesome that you can stream on phone and use your phone as the remote if you misplace the fetch one plus you can use apps on fetch like Stan Netflix YouTube and more. I give Aussie broadband 11/10 for everything setup is quick and hassle free, the NBN people are preety chill and if you already have Foxtel all they do to put NBN on is apply a splitter and tinker with the grey box outside your home, but they will explain it all to you if you ask. Since it has been a few years of NBN technology who knows how much faster it will get the NBN guy that did my connection said it will be 1gigabit in the future that is 125 megabytes a second. I would recommend NBN and the NBN ISP Aussie broadband to anyone that still have fears of dissatisfaction or anyone currently with another provider having regrets the teething problems are mostly fixed now and the big telcos are a rip off just join Aussie broadband and live the high life like a yuppy cause they are the real deal no crap ISP hope my long review has persuaded some people to either join NBN or switch providers.1 comment

Absolutely fantastic company.
Fantastic connection. super fast speed. no drop outs. Customer service representative are always polite and very helpful. We get a text message as soon as there is a fault in the line and always fixed super quick

Switch to Aussie you will have no regrets
I tolerated substandard customer service and poor quality product for nearly 30 years. I just did not know it!
I moved to Aussie NBN in January and I could not be happier. 5 adults utilising the internet service for a broad range of activities in lock down from gaming to movie watching. We never have a lag in service provision and the speed is consistently amazing! Customer service team operate from within Australian, they are easy to contact and responsive. I highly recommend this service

Like Internode used to be
Extremely happy. Speed is as-advertised, even during peak hour. It took less than half an hour to be connected when I applied online, and customer service is outstanding.
I used to be with Internode back in the day for their better routing and customer service, and this feels like a re-incarnation of that ethos.

Where have you been all my NBN life!!
Cannot believe how good Aussie Broadband is. These guys are the bomb..no joke. Forget about Telstra or TPG. AB doesn’t have 4g backup yet but I think soon will. I was with TPG for my first NBN connection and it was very disappointing. Paid for 100/20 and was quite slow. Almost slower than my adsl2. 2 weeks after connecting TPG informed me that the max download I could get was 68mbs. Then had problems with my connection. Couldn’t contact TPG at all( Covid-19) to get them to fix it. Went 2.5 weeks without nbn at all. Thank god I didn’t sign a con...Read more
tract. So I contacted Aussie broadband and signed with them( no contract). Sent out modem and they fixed my connection. Same deal with Aussie 100/20 and now I get 90+ all of the time. Funny that, when TPG said max at my address was 68mbs. Their phone and online support is second to none, and based in Australia!! Need more of this after we all found out how bad it is when we rely on other countries for just about everything, referring to Covid-19. Overall a extremely happy customer. Been very stable entire time.
Speeds very consistent
Setup was a breeze, fast delivery of modem and simple setup.

Poor customer service
Their broadband service is good, however if you are one of those people who still want a land line DO NOT engage the services of this company. Beyond incompetent. Telstra are better that’s how hopeless their staff are.

Rock solid speed and reliability at a reasonable price.
The pricing on the 100/20 beats the major telcos and so does the evening peak speed. What more could you want? Well Aussie Broadband gives you more.
- Australian call centres which means Australian jobs
- Australian support means there is no trouble understanding each others accents and turns of phrase when you call
- An easy to use and well-designed support and billing website
- Support if you need it for installing the NBN NTU, but the instructions are so clear you won't need the support

Good download & upload speed, but horrible service with the support team, especially Level 2.
Issues:
Level 2 support are arrogant, and rude.
Level 2 support just say "looks normal!"
Level 2 support don't show you the value of "Respect" instead they say, "NOTHING CAN BE DONE"
Level 1 support is amazing, friendly, cool, & respectful.
Was told that the recent fault i'd made, was my "problem" and that they were going to close this, even though the issue was clearly present in aussie broadband, they denied this, and instead said, "if you don't like it, move on, you're not in a contract with us." Utterly disgraceful.
Would not recommend these people for support & / or friendliness. Would recommend them for Download & Upload speed though. - Alex.

Aussie Broadband are excellent
Internet connection is great. Connection was super smooth, and the internet service is as promised. The service is so good I've no need to contact them.... if I were to do so, am sure it would be responsive. They are the only company to offer a 100/40 plan at a competitive price.

You would need to ask Aussie Broadband that question. Myself, I regularly get 90/30 so quite close to 100/40.
I need to change my service provider. We generally run 3-4 computers at any given time I guess I cannot expect fast speeds

Upload speeds or download speeds? We currently do not have plans with upload speeds over 40Mpbs. We do have download speeds tiers that are much higher with 100Mbps down and for FTTP 250Mbps down. https://www.aussiebroadband.com.au/nbn-plans/

Depending on your previous provider, you may have to return the old modem anyway. AussieBB do not stipulate their own modem, but recommend you purchase theirs.

Hi Glizelda, we can't guarantee that your current provider's modem will work as it may be locked to them, however, we are happy to try to help you to configure it. If we aren't successful, you may need to get a new modem. Time frame for someone with nbn already is very little. You're looking a 15 mins to a couple of hours. Hope that helps. Cheers, Mel

Hi Rob, I really recommend getting a VoIP compatible router to plug your phone into, yes. Otherwise, you can look into ordering an ATA from us that will allow you to use your phone with a router without VoIP compatibility. There are plenty of options and decent VoIP compatible routers out there. If you go the ATA route, then our ATA's (SPA112) come pre-configured to be plug and play. Cheers, Mel
