I had an NBN service connected in July 2016 but I ran into all sorts of problems caused by Telstra and Spintel when trying to transfer my phone number to Australia On Line (AOL). Telstra refused to transfer my phone number to Australia On Line (AOL) as Spintel had applied to transfer the number to them and Telstra refused to tell me who had blocked the transfer. After a lot of work over two months, including letters to the ombudsman,Telstra and Spintel, AOL resolved the issue.

d. I plugged in the modem as soon as it arrived and I was able to log onto the internet immediately. I have had the service now for 3 weeks and I have had no problems. I opted for the basic 12/1 Mbps speed knowing that I can bump it up to a higher speed should I need to. I am getting on average 11 Mpbs and whilst this is a little slower than the ADSL broadband service I had before switching to the NBN, I find it sufficient for my needs. Very happy.
A bit slow to begin with waited 3 weeks for connection, neighbours had theirs in a week with Optus. But then full speed ahead, NBN runs at 23.34 on a 25 speed which l'm told is whats expected in our area. Have contacted them a couple of times by email & receive an answer back by text message same day. I can see usage of internet & phone anytime, no surprises. No internet dropouts, phone is much clearer than before. Great Customer Service.
We went with Australia On Line at the recommendation of a friend and I am very pleased with the service. They set us up with NBN internet and there was absolutely no hassle whatsoever. It was really great actually being able to talk to a real person during the process, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a well priced service provider.

Changeover from ADSL+ to NBN
Just did the changover from ADSL+ to NBN with Australia online. Based on past experience with the team at Australia online I expected the transfer from ADSL+ to NBN to be easy and it was, the changeover was seamless and issue free................well done guys!!

Simply The Best!!!
I now have the NBN at home, and thanks to Australia On Line, the whole process was a breeze. I had some minor issues in getting connected initially, but it was the fault of my old router, not anything to do with Aust On Line. In fact, I purchased a new router from them, and when it arrived, it was already preconfigured, so it was just a matter of plug & Play!

gh. It is also great to support another Aussie company (and staff), and I cannot praise them highly enough. The NBN Plans they are offering are also very competitive as is the home VOIP phone included with the bundle. I think I am going to be with Australia On Line for a very long time...Similar opinion? Fantastic Service - Australians too!!
I had used Australia Online for a number of years on ADSL and been very happy with them at my previous address and now finally thanks to NBN being made available at my current address I was able to return and enjoy the ongoing caring service Australia Online are committed to give. When minor hic ups have arisen due to the new NBN technology they have been very efficient in achieving positive results for me.
Inexpensive - Reliable connection
Would really help to have a mobile number available that can accept txt messages when on rare occasdions there might be a problem and lines are down and cant email or phone to report them
