Every time I use express post,it always gets to the destination quickly and on time.Its affordable good.The ladies at Mackay post office are always helpful and kind,and go out of there way to help you.

An express post next day deliver was sent from Canberra to Brisbane on Monday 22 March 2020. It is now 5:00pm Thursday 26 March 2020 and after 2 x 20min telephone calls to Aust Post, no one can tell me where the parcel is, when it will be delivered or how we can locate it. What a disgrace

Rubbish service

I've been waiting for my "express" post one week already, still no sign the package coming. that's way unacceptable, what a joke. that's damn slower than regular post, for damn sake.

Three days later and my registered, express post letter is still not here. It's now almost 5:00pm Friday so it will be AT LEAST 5 days to get something that was supposed to take ONE business day!!!!! If you take the money for something then you should provide what was paid for. Australia Post isn't even close to doing that. What a rip-off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These guys do an awesome job.
The country would shut down without them.
I cannot understand why people are so upset with a company that does a great job?!

Driver never attempts to deliver to my front door. Item goes directly to Australia Post. Such an inconvenience as getting there, parking - ha ing to go on a Saturday because I’m at work every other day - is very annoying.. do not use AP

Didn't deliver my parcel

Had an urgent parcel express posted to me. Waited at home for it but driver never rang the doorbell. Just dropped the card and left. I ran outside within a few minutes of seeing the tracking change but they were long gone.

I use Aus post nearly monthly for the delivery of any products I have purchased and they always arrive in immaculate condition. Items are always handled with care and quality of service is great.

Bad service in Sydney. I've been in Sydney for two months and it happens three times.
They never deliver parcels to my home. I was at home all day and the parcels went to the post office directly. They also didn't put any card to my mailbox to inform me about the collection.

The most useless postal service in the world!!!There is no Australia Post anymore they can just put new logo on Australia Late Post because they alway late!!!Just no services!!Walk away from them!!Even Express post is late!!!

Seems to be getting worse.

Payed extra for express post, got slower than standard. Melbourne to Perth took 9 days to deliver, what an absolute joke. I swear Auspost is getting worse, raising prices every year but instead of improving or even keeping the same delivery times they get slower and slower.

I had a parcel sent from NSW on 26.2.20 to WA, supplier gave me tracking number, i go on Australia Post website to see where it is as i have still not received the item, i mean its only NSW not outer Mongolia. The good old Australia Post website says "its on its way" WOW fantastic guys thats really exemplifying the "Track and Trace" thing, its on its way, so i think i have to talk to someone, so i talk to a robot who tells me that my parcel number ending in XXXX will be received by the 10th of March, the 10th of bloody March, are you kidding me, this is meant to be Express post and i paid good money to have the item here by now. Merchant Bankers.

it is now my 4th time that I am home when they apparently "tried" to deliver and They "missed" me.
they just send a prefilled card saying you were not home.
like I said 4th time that I am home and they pretend they missed me.

The delivery was great! I couldn’t believe how fast I received my parcel, It was definitely here on time and in great condition. I even received a email the day it was arriving.

Express overnight post took 5 days and still not delivered

Terrible service! Paid for overnight express post for a parcel and its now been 5 days and it still hasn't been delivered. The call center is not either. They have offered to refund my money but I just want my parcel delivered. They still can not give me details on when it will be delivered!!!!

Extremely unreliable post, especially on express packages. Don't bother with anything their site says, it's all absolutely untrue.
In my experience it is the worst postage in the civilized world. Impossible to tell when anything is supposed to arrive, due to spotty delivery that seems to either change time or be skipped every second day.
Worst of all, the complaint process is full of apologetics and diversions designed without the intention to change.

Hey Moi, having just finished going through this myself, this is what I know: You go to the AP website, then you need to dig around there until you find the delays info. You need to click on a few links, The last time I looked it was in the FAQ, via Covd 19 Domestic post updates. There is an update there from 14 April which says delivery to country and regional areas "may be delayed by up to X days...". Under this, both Darwin and metro Perth are listed, as both cities (except for CBD postcodes I think) are considered as regional and outside the express network for next day guarantee. Also at some point recently, the gaurantee was suspended, although the info is that Express is still the fastest way to send and natuirally still costs the same. I seem to remember that for Darwin it may have read " up to three days...". So whatever the expected time is for Victoria to Darwin via Express, you add 3 days to that. You have to dig even deeper to discover what the expected time fro Express delivery is to Darwin, but as I did find the table giving estimates recently I remember that Darwin from non regional Vic was 1-3 or maybe 1-4 business days. So if AP had your mail on 16/04,it would be expected on say 21 April (4 business days) at the latest in Darwin, then add 3 days for C19 delay and that takes you to 24th April ie tomorrow. That's just according to the unsimple, ambiguous and difficult to access info on the website. There is a more general statement that is more accessible that predicts " a few days delay" whilst other pages say "significant delays". So who knows?! A 'few" usually means three so. My express parcel Sydney to Perth took 14 days.

Hi how can we tell if my parcel has been taken to a post office? 2 weeks ago i ordered and it it says tracking number provided and tracking number approved. not in in transit or anything. is Sydney to Adelaide so seeing its been 2 weeks im assuming it hasn't been posted at all?

Domestic Express Post

How is that a parcel posted with regular standard parcel post can be processed in metro Perth on 8th April and delivered to recipient in regional NSW on the 15th April, yet an express post package going the other way can be dispatched from NZ on 7th April, handed to Aust Post in Sydney on 8th April post customs clearance, take 2 days to reach a major automated sorting facility also in Sydney on the 11th April, be sorted on the 12th April, be expected in metro Perth on the 15th April, be "delayed" on the 16th April, have a formal enquiry lodged on 16th April remain unaddressed as of 21st April, and remain in limbo as "delayed" with no further updates as of the 21st April? And Australia Post still offers its Express Post Service as the fastest way to have items delivered?

IMO it's Incompetence and a monopoly of the postal system so we don't really have many other choices and they know it.
