My husband n I 68 and 75 years old. Both of us excellent health . Travelling to Italy, Athens ( 3 days) and Croatia (3 days) singapore ( 2 nights) total days 19 days. I want top cover with cov included . After reading the very bad reviews on making a claim if needed to….. I am so hesitant to use Covermore….
My son 36 years old) also travelling to Italy with us and two days Amsterdam. Total days 10 days . I have to now search online for very a very reliable insurance cover .
Covermore is recommended by my travel agent ( the vast amount charged is much more expensive than online). I am now in mixed emotion which travel insurance to go for and I want premium cover for us as well as my 36 year old son… going to Italy for a wedding in September this year.

We offer Overseas Medical Expenses cover if you are diagnosed with COVID-19 overseas (including onboard emergency medical and ship-to-shore medical expenses on a multi-night cruise if Cruise Cover is included in your policy) which has an $Unlimited~ benefit. (Please note: ~Medical cover will not exceed 12 months from onset.) This applies to all three plans (Basic, Comprehensive, and Comprehensive+) on an international policy. I declined the insurance after seeing changes appeared in the policy, 1 hour after receiving the certificate. this is within the mandatory cooling off period. Your process needs to recognize legislative requirements. Return my money.
I have wanted to change the end date to my policy, have written several emails and still no confirmation that it has been done, I am not sure what to do next?

Especially when it seems that the Covid 19 causes make this redundant?
I am struggling to see the value/how it would work as it doesn't seem toapply to testing pre departure for Covid?

Read morermation whether you are submitting a claim or not.On December last year my wife and I booked flights and accommodation in Hawaii because our son was to be married to his Canadian partner on the north coast of Oahu on April 25.
We booked thro' Flight Centre and paid something in excess of $1,300 to Cover-More - this seemingly high premium was apparently due in part to the fact that my wife suffers from a rare disease - MSA or Multiple Systems Atrophy - neither treatable or curable.
I am interested in how much our refund will be because world events have caused the wedding plans to be abandoned?
As we have not, and will not lodge any claims against the policy because we are not going to travel, I would expect that there will be an admin fee deducted but apart from that I would expect most of the $1,300 will be refunded.
My Federal member is approaching the national Treasurer to discuss the extortionist fees being claimed by Qantas and asked me if the same practices were being applied by insurance companies.
This email will provide you with my email address and I hope that I receive a definitive reply in the near future so that I can pass it along to my Federal Member for Boothby prior to her meeting with the treasurer.
