I bought a Dyson v6 absolute hand stick last year and the whole family is loving the use of it. My 10 and 13 year olds vacuum their own rooms as it’s so light to hold and easy to use. With the selection of attachments it allows the whole house to be dust free as I can get to all nooks and crannies... well done Dyson

It do what it is intended to do! It helps to make the men in my house hands-on in the cleaning process as well. It doesn't feel like a work when you use it to vacuum a room.

Very happy with my new purchase. Very easy to use and great on tiled floor as well as carpets. Cleaning my house is a breeze with Dyson V6 as it is quite light.

Dyson absolute is fantastic. Lightweight so easy to use. A friend was recently given a beautiful diamond but I said in all honesty if given a choice I would rather have my Dyson. That’s saying something!

Great for a quick clean when visitors are on there way unexpectedly.
Does the job but keep in mind a proper vacuum cleaner will suck harder and clean a lot better.
Overall I’m happy with the unit for what it dose

Having purchased this item some time ago I can't possibly live without it. From hard floor to rugs to carpet, it works equally well, never losing suction just plowing along. The only thing I'd change about this powerful little machine is a longer battery time. Love it.

Mostly used on hard floor, used better on hard floor as well.
Easy to dissemble but a little hard to reassemble for cleaning.
I have been using this for more than 2 years and will upgrade to V10 this December for longer time use.

I can't imagine daily life without this stick vacuum. I have two preschoolers and a labrador (who sheds all year round!) and my Dyson V6 Absolute takes it all in it's stride! I love the different attachments for carpets and hard floors. After four years of almost daily use the battery died, and Dyson were able to send a replacement out for $79 - it's as good as new! Would definitely purchase this brand and style again when the time comes to upgrade, but for now this one is fantastic.

Works really well on carpets and tiles and is really good with getting fur off of our out door lounge. Only problem I have is the battery life is only short and our battery completely died after a couple of years . Dyson did send a replacement tho when I emailed them but not for free.

We loved this vacuum cleaner initially. It worked very well on our wooden floors. However, it failed after three years and we suspected the battery. $120 later we finally managed to source another battery, despite being told that they are constantly discontinued (presumably so one is forced to buy a new vacuum cleaner). The new battery lasted for ten minutes so we now suspect some other issue. We have checked for blockages etc and all clear. We have now purchased an LG stick vac and it is so much sturdier than the Dyson with better suction than the Dyson ever had. Would not buy Dyson again. Not the product that it used to be.

I have a V6 Absolute. The battery doesn’t last long. I have had it about 18 months and already had to have a new battery. Not sure if I’ll get another cordless. Thinking of looking at another brand.

Like so many reviews battery only last a couple of minutes. Dyson why do you keep giving your standard answer, one would think after so many similar reviews you could answer the question online or provide a follow up answer. Machine purchased Sept 2016. Disappointed in Dyson.

This is the bloody fourth time, rubbish fell out during vacuuming.
What a poor design!! The red lever is so close to the on button, whenever touching the red lever accidentally, lid open, and all rubbish fell on the floor and my lap once. Very unhygienic and creating a mess!

Been very happy with this vacuum since we purchased it in late 2015. It picks up more pet fur than any other vacuum cleaner we have had in the past. Great to do a quick vacuum being cordless. However, we noticed the battery life has decreased significantly about six months ago and often have to put it back to charge again before we can finish vacuuming the apartment. Will have to look into getting a replacement battery soon.

I got v6 absolute for just over 2 years from harvey norman with plus 5 year warrantly.

In last one month, vacuum just stop working and starts again without any further charging. (With my luck not when i need it)

When i called dyson they refered me to harvey norman and HN asking me fill out product claim to go through two week long process. If i have to do everything i should just buy cheap stuff not premium dyson vacuums.

Good vaccum until you run into problem. Bad service from dyson as well as harvey norman.

My wife is very happy with this, its very easy to use. But the bad thing is the battery is not strong, only allow you use around 20 minutes. Recommend.

After being contacted by Dyson after a battery problem with my Stick Vac, I felt I should change my review of an otherwise great product. I would be lost without my Dyson Absolute. It fills in where my large corded Dyson that only my husband and cleaner use. This was bought as a gift for me as I don't like any mess on my floor, as I cannot use my other Dyson vacuum. The one I had prior to this one lasted 10 years so I look forward to its great design and ease of use. Thanks to the Dyson team for their awesome service

This is the best cordless vacuum cleaner on the market. I've owned it for 2 years now and haven't had a problem with it. No matter the surface it vacuums exceptionally well. I'm amazed at the power of it especially on max mode. If you give all the filters and accessories a good clean often, then it will work as good as new for as long as you have it.

Worked great while it lasted for the 2 and a bit years. Then, stopped charging.
So far Dyson support isnt able to diagnose the root cause.
Perhaps the $699 investment for 2 years, wasnt great after all.
For premium products from Dyson, e.g the new $1000 + v11, Dyson should support with a 5 year warranty
