Don't buy from them
Wish I had read these reviews before purchase. The purchase made and paid in full on 1 December had a confirmed delivery date of 31 Dec, an hour after the delivery truck was meant to turn up I was called by the store to say somehow they had stuffed it up and the order wasn't on the truck. I was then told it would be delivered end Jan. A week into February I called the store to see where it was. I was rung back to be told head office now thinks it might be end February and had the gall to blame coronavirus for the entire delay. What a joke! Also...Read more
what it worse is that I was told in the shop it was made in america, turns out through todays conversation it is just another cheap chinese piece of furniture. Maybe one day I will receive what I paid for.

Disappointed for Christmas
We purchased on the 2nd Dec with the promise of it arriving in on the 9th and delivered to the store Thursday the 12 Dec......No Delivery..... Then promised the next Thursday 19th.... Still no delivery.....Then promised it would be on a special delivery on Monday the 23rd but we were disappointed again.....So Much for Xmass dinner around our new table. They don't care
Bought 2 bedside table and 1 chest as picture shows "can someone tell me they are SILVER?". But a few weeks later when i arrange the delivery they told me the bedsides are silver. I went to the store with my picture, their staff didn't even look at the them and said to me "I don't care, I am telling you the bedside are silver." So, I told them if the colour are different just refund the chest and get the bedside table. They told me they never do refund they only give store credit. And this had been a few weeks, really had enough with them.

crap head office customer service
I went into store to purchase dinning table chairs, happy with the style and quality. since January this year one of legs of my chairs has almost come completely off. funny thing is we hardly use the chairs so I was surprised. contacted the store and they informed me how to get in contact for defects and faulty products it has been almost 2 months since I have sent the request and nothing. I just want my chair fixed. although I had the intention of going back situations like this put me off from going back to stores, even though the service was great in store head office hasn't gotten to my service.
if not resolved I will take this to fair trading.

Very bad company to deal with totally unreasonable.
We were down sizing our home and moving into a over 55 resort, I ordered a display cabinet too match our entertainment unit which we had purchased from Eureka Street, when I placed the order over the phone I was told there would be a wait for the cabinet as the shipment hadn't arrived from overseas, and they would ring us when it arrived.

Absolutely disgusting
Disgusting back padding flattened out day 1 intrusive smell causing watery eyes and runny nose and headaches. Reported to shop 4 days later. They still refuse to give refund as they do not class this as a major problem ( they r wrong) you can return any product if it has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it. It is signicantly different from the sample or description. We have been chasing this for 3 months now.

6 months wasted
We bought a leather lounge suite in Dec 2013, delivered Feb, the protective plastic wrapping was stitched in & the underside of the leather was torn when it arrived. I had to constantly ring & email them to chase this up which made me more & more annoyed & eventually it was replaced with another lounge suite. Promised return calls from the store never eventuated.

00, we could get something better despite the lounge being faulty, what a hide!!! Almost 3 weeks later with no contact from them, I initiated communication as per usual. Yesterday I received a call to say they'll pick up the lounge suite & give us a refund. Should have picked up on the early signs when we walked into the store & the sales people couldn't be bothered in serving us despite them knowing we were interested in a lounge worth afew grand. We are first time buyers at eureka street, and never ever again due to their extremely poor customer service, blatant disrespect for their customer & poor quality product. Now we hope that we will get our refund at the time of changeover, or will it be us chasing them again? I think I might just ask them for this in writing. ok carefully you can see that the chest is slightly bronze in colour whereas the bedside is silver. Again, the difference is slight and it is exactly what was on the display in store (photographed). You ordered off the display at the time of purchase and were delivered exactly what you were ordered. Of course we care about our customers satisfaction however on this occasion it was sale by sample and you received exactly what was on display in store. I sincerely apologise that you are now not happy with what you purchased and hope that you have found a place for them somewhere nice.
