There are other companies with good prices who actually provide service and fix problems and don't have speed issues!
My experience with this company was the worst service experience I have ever had. The speed of connection didn't even support 1 device..... Forget about it being 'family' plan. So many hours on the phone trying to get them to sort out the connection. No joy!

Bill increased with no notification
I’ve been with these guys for a few months, now all of a sudden my bill has increased. I receive no notification about this. Will be cancelling tomorrow. Also it is quite possible to speak to a customer service agent of theirs.

Rubbish, stay away
Rope you in and in the end you get a bad connection and then they increase their price after a couple of months.
Signed up on family 50 for $59.90 a month ongoing. Their was nothing to state they would raise the price and it would stay the same? This was not the case. Also, speeds where OK for a couple of weeks then they slowed, happened to many people. They still have not fixed? Looks like they sign you up on a good plan with good speeds and once they have you, slow the speeds down and charge you more.
Stay away from these scammers.

gned up, it's bait advertising when you do these things to customers, I have Managed many retailers and know exactly what I'm talking about. I have lodged a report to the ACCC and QCAT for deceiving consumers and using bait advertising to lure customers and then slow speeds and increase prices after signing up.
Today is 11/may and my bill is not due and yet again they attempt to bill my credit card.
Will seek legal as this would now be considered as, trying to Obtain funds by deception which is fraudulent.

Great service!
I have been with FLIP NBN for a year now and find the connection to be solid and consistent. I always get the speeds advertised on the website and I have never experienced any disconnections.
Not always easy to get through to someone in support however I have always had my questions answered and any minor issues resolved in time that is satisfactory for the price of the product.
I have signed up multiple friends and family to this server and would recommend this product to anyone.

The worst Business ever!
Signed up with the family 50nbn plan for $59.90 a month, internet was good for the first couple of weeks and slowed alot. I have contacted them many times and they refuse to fix it?? Now that want to charge me more???? They have a real dodgy billing system and payment option and always attempt to take payments when they are not due.
Don't waste your time with this dishonest Business and go with a more reputable company.
I am so disgusted and dissatisfied by the way I have been treated, I will be looking for another provider. They are not worth the headache. Read all the other bad reviews and see for yourself. Appalling service, down right rip off's.

Be rest assured, I am looking for another provider I can trust, supply me with a service that I am paying for and don't slow my service after a couple of weeks and delete/remove invoices to hide the charges. I have posted two reviews already with what is going on. What a joke. They are threatening to chase me for an account after my move out date/cancelled account date??? I have paid all that I owe and you will not get a cent out of me. I am going to call the ACCC Right now. Worst customer service I have ever had. I don’t get angry ever. But I am beyond angry right now. Do not get internet with these guys anyone!!

The worst provider on the market. Avoid.
No internet for 13 days now despite phone call after phone after phone call. I get messages saying a tech will call me... rarely happens, I always end up calling them whilst on hold for 30 mins +
Speeds are nowhere near their advertised 43mbs. Sometime in the 20's other times in the early 30's so if speed is important to you, another reason to avoid. They are lying.
Currently sorting out another provider as I have had enough.

e from your service team........It looks like the account is still active and I can't remove my payment details from your system as your website doesn't allow it. You had better not charge me. How is a company like this even running? Hopeless. For anyone reading this, I moved to another service provider called Mate. The team are responsive and fantastic. No waiting for hours to get through to someone and the support team are hear in Australia. My internet speed has gone from average of 22-25mb with Flip to 45mb with Mate. My ping has gone from 62ms with Flip down to 12 with Mate which is fantastic but shows you how bad flip is. Polite customer service but very inefficient
Pros:
- Good value for an NBN50 plan if you pay for the month ahead.
- You get Flip TV, but it's super limited in what you can watch. You can only watch it on your phone so no streaming it on your TV. Personally, I don't use it as there's only 2 channels that's in English; Euronews and NHK World Japan.
- Never experienced drop outs.
Cons:
- The Speed is not 43 Mbps as claimed. I would say on average you'd get somewhere between 30 to 40 Mbps. I use the DLink DFend AC2600 with an FTTP connection, so we can pretty much rule out the possibility o...Read more

Terrible customer service and sub-contractual speeds - reported to ACCC now!
During 10 month as a Flip NBN customer my experience with both their customer service and provided speed was and is absolutely terrible.
Flip NBN never provided the speed (nbn50 plan, month to month) they were contracted to do. Average speeds below 10 is the norm (TPG however on a similar connection on our property is very reliable). Raised the issue 10 or more times, never resolved.

n 5 times in writing and over the phone during the last couple of months, they say they would close it, but never do it. Additionally, they keep refusing to confirm the account closure in writing. This is an illegal practise by Flip NBN. Recently NBN was down for a day, reported it via their web chat, after 3 days someone send an email. TPG on the other account reacted immediately, fixed it and followed up within a couple of hours... I would not recommend Flip NBN as a provider to anyone based on this consistently poor performance, illegal behaviours (not fulfilling contractually committed speeds and not accepting and confirming requests for account closure) and time wasting behaviour of their customer services staff. True to say the worst company I had to deal with in recent years, and I do not say this lightly.1 comment

Terrible customer service, poor connection
I have only been with Flip for 2 weeks and already had enough.
Nbn is very unreliable, always dropping out. zero technical support provided.
You call, they take a message and say a technician will call you back.
3 to 5 days later, someone will finally call. If you aren't home or miss the call, you have to wait another 3 days.
I've paid for 2 months, once that's up I'll take my business elsewhere

Worst NBN provider!!
Connection lags constantly. Rude customer service over the phone. The app said that my account was up too date.. my NBN was disconnected for not paying my bill?? Called and was told if I pay the outstanding amount that I wasn’t even aware of, it would be reconnected. Payed and waited 2 days for reconnection, to be told that I need to pay an extra $40 before they will reconnect.
Waste of time. Wouldn’t recommend.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!
Although the internet connection was not the best, I could have lived with that.
We lost service, so I called on the day. they said they would look into it an call me back. I called and emailed repeatedly over the next 3 weeks. They told me they would lodge a technical issue with NBN. Another week passed, no internet, no customer service.
I took my business elsewhere. Within a week the new provider had fixed the issue.
Flip are still trying to send me bills, which is absolutely disgusting. stay away from this company! I'm reporting them to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.

Not worth the saving
Signed up because they are slightly cheaper but have nothing but issues since. They take ages to do anything. When you call support they take a message and call you back. They never do anything in the time frame they tell you. If they say 48hrs expect it to be 5-10 days.

Terrible service.
Terrible service. Expect you to pay 2 months in advance for service, no other telco I have been with have ever asked this. Their customer service for phone is really bad and you can be put on hold for over 30mins and at the end be cut off. They charge you for a service you never signed up for, make changes and lie their way through it. I am on a plan month to month, so why pay 2 months in advance. Their is no sense in that. below** Once again I phoned flip this morning as they once again disconnected my internet close to call centre closing time yesterday just to be vindictive & spiteful. They know they are too scummy to provide tech support after these hours so I'm screwed whilst they sit back thinking it's a joke. Really terrible speeds
Joined Flip thinking that it would be a good idea but immediately regretted my choice because of horrible speeds i was getting. I was previously connected with exetel on NBN50 for 60$ (Yes they were really good when they were new with pricing) and was getting speeds upto 44mbps in peak hours (Amazing right?). Great service. Best value.
I've had this service for about 3 months. Haven't had any trouble and it is the best priced 50Mb plan I'm aware of currently when you use the pay in advance option. The setup was easy as well and stress free.

Terrible Provider - Do Not Use Them
Was hoping to use Flip on this plan as it looked cost effective. But given their inability to deliver a modem to a family member, they seemed a bit useless. Their unauthorised deductions from a credit card for the modem and later services never provided confirmed their uselessness. Money was later agreed to be refunded - but hasn't been two months on. Add to this their failure to deliver minimum evening speeds on a plan I can't wait to leave and their overall performance is totally useless. What appears to be a good deal is actually rubbish, they simply won't deliver it. Technically, logistically, administratively and customer service all round FAILS.

Lots of calls, an agreement on the phone to a refund then becomes, wait for it, another deduction from credit card details you had no right to retain. Why do you sign people up on lower rates and then increase your rates later on without notice? Why do you attempt to take payment from customers accounts ever when their bill isn't due? Why do you remove a customer's invoice when you are supposed to keep them there for the customer, and this is by law? Why do you lower the internet speeds after a couple of weeks of joining? Why do you continue to lie to all your customers?

bait and switch breaches ACCC laws.
Just report to ACCC as more will do this soon then they can explain to ACCC why they are using bait and switch tactics.
I have reported them to the ACCC and Department of fair trading. I have also reported them to the Ombudsman. I don't understand why they think this is an acceptable way to conduct Business and treat customers like this.
