A Store Staff Member purchased my Lounges and Cancelled my Order that I paid for in full!
I ordered 2 of the Dahlia couches that were in stock in Welshpool as advised my Mandurah store as I’m a huge regular at freedom (well not anymore for anything) paid for my order and protection pack and delivery . For days no text message then I enquired today to be told a staff member from the Cannington store searched this system and stole my couches that I paid for . So come Tuesday im paying to lodge a dispute with the local courts as I have receipts and guarantees on a docket they are mine, then same day im lodging with ACCC as doing my research freedom have had issues lying to customers and are deceitful . Then I will be contacting the ombudsman all on my day off work . I have also posted to there social media page and will continue to make others aware of there constant behaviour of letting customers down as you can tell via all sources of social media . I’m looking forward to arguing with steinhoff and I have printed plenty of prior complaints with legal action, customers may abuse them via reviews but honestly is it worth it and your time ? Go straight to the top and that’s exactly what I am doing and I won’t stop until I get an positive outcome that was caused by Cannington! Proof that I made a purchase and paid so you can clearly see this review isn’t false . Don’t waste your time with this company and that’s my personal opinion . I have had no refund no compensation and gave my lounge away to my grandmother as mine was in stock supposed to be getting delivered within days and now I have no lounge at all for myself, hubby and my autistic 4 year old son and my 10 year old son .Mirjana, I have lodged a court case with the magistrates court of Western Australia and have emailed it over the weekend to freedom and both the stores and sent a copy to your fb page . Read moreisnt the level of service you want to provide but it is what you have given me and have chosen your staff member to have my lounges over me. I’ve paid for them and for delivery and fabric care, I’ve been told by the warehouse they are mine yet I find out your staff me never has snatched these off me . I won’t give up and I’ve paid for them and I have a legal binding invoice they are mine In stock . I will go to court and fight freedom . This is negligence of your stores Mandurah and Cannington to do something like this to a customer and as a company you should be remorseful . Staff shouldn’t not have priority over stock and entitled to someone else’s order, customers should always be preferenced . At the end of the day, I will fight freedom until I get my couches and until I get what I paid for and was promised . Called on Tuesday to ask if an item could be out on hold and be collected Wednesday morning as only two in stock. Was told no they don’t do that I would have to order online and collect. Went online and ordered only to find out the collection timeframe was over a five day period so no guarantee I could collect the next day as I hoped for. Bought 2 Loam grey office chairs for my teenage daughter bedroom study desk, managed to fit two larges boxed in rear of car. Easy to set up, very nice good value chair. Called by phone to confirm had item in stock, was at counter ready, very easy service

Disappointed with quality and customer service from the online CS department. I store excellent customer service
Whilst staff in store have been lovely, very disappointed with the actual sofa.
We purchased a sofa late last year, once it was delivered we realised it felt very different to the one in store.
We went back to the store and the lovely staff suggested it may of been overfilled. We took the actual seat and back cushions in and there was a huge difference between firmness. We were advised to log an online claim, this in itself is quiet a lengthy process and quiet impersonal - an assessor came out and agreed it was quiet hard and it should soft...

Feb this year we contacted freedom again and started the lengthy claim process again, 10days approx to get a response then the assessor came out again reviewed it and admitted it was very hard then about10days after being advised we needed it assessed again. 11 days later I receive a call from freedom store to tell me the manager is off and will call me next week, I thought this strange and asked why and was told “oh your request for a refund/ return has been rejected. “ The item we have at home is almost unusable it’s so hard and not what we sat on in store. The assessor said it was possible different filling, this is unacceptable and I cannot understand why it was rejected. If an item is not as shown in the show room surely we are untitled to a refund. Reminds me of life overseas - and we don't have to put the drawers together!
We were looking for new bedroom furniture (gradually replacing all our furniture after some 12 years). Didn't want to build it ourselves, and wanted something that was modern and light looking. Rattan range just worked perfectly.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Diane and Ben at Freedom in Myaree. Ben was very informative about the products and also told us about the interior decorator service where we met Diane who listened to our needs and came up with a fantastic look for our new home. Diane picked all the furniture and homewares for us and put it together so we could see how it would look in our home saving us all the stress and hard work. I did not realise that this service was available so thank you Ben for telling us and thank you Diane for your great work.

I found my lounge chairs very easily and chose from Freedom after much deliberation over lounges in other stores as well. My only disappoint is that I have to wait about 6 months before I receive my purchase! A sign of COVID years!

As We walked in the store, we were greeted by a friendly staff member named Paula. The range of products great. Quality of our sofa bed is 10/10.
Delivery guys screwed on legs and we were ready for use.

I was looking to update my furniture and needed help with matching it to my decor and other pieces that I wanted to keep. The staff were very helpful with this. I took photos to show them the area I wanted to update and they were able to give me advice on what would suit and what would not. I love the items I have chosen, although I have a 3 month wait for some and 6 months for the lounge, but this is understandable given the current covid restrictions.
