We're very happy with this service
Firstly, Internode provided excellent service in our transition from ADSL TO NBN with Nodephone. The delivered Modem/Router was pre-programmed with our account details and the Nodephone line was soon adjusted to minimise noise. This service fully meets our home requirements at a reasonable cost.
And again, a recent request for help in finding the cause of apparently undelivered E-mail was met by firstly patiently walking us, an elderly couple, through our E-mail setup and then testing its operation. The earlier test messages I had sent to myself were then found to be in our Spam folder.

Having been with Internode for more than 17 years I haven't seen any need to change ISP providers, even when moving to Melbourne. The service is reliable with only very few issues along the way.

The worst customer service I have ever received from a business; a huge waste of money, time, and energy
I repeat, PLEASE CANCEL MY SERVICE. I AM NO LONGER USING INTERNODE - I HAVE SWITCHED TO A MUCH BETTER ISP (any ISP is better than Internode). I do not know why a simple action like cancelling my service is taking so long and so many attempts on my part (4 attempts now and Internode has the audacity to tell me to contact my Case Officer instead of arranging a cancellation, following my 4 attempts to proceed with cancellation).
My new ISP proactively set me up in minutes, taking the initiative to call me to help me configure my router. In contra...Read more
st, Internode's help guide does not provide essential information required to complete router configuration (information is incomplete), Support gave me incorrect information no one has apologised to me for (which resulted in me buying a new router I don't need at $80), and after engaging with Internode for weeks I can't resolve my issues. I have called and emailed so many people so many times, and can't have basic issues like setting up my Internet, billing, and cancellation resolved. PLEASE EMAIL ME CONFIRMING THE CANCELLATION OF MY ACCOUNT. The person who asked for confirmation of the cancellation has not responded to 2 emails. I am doubtful that contacting my case officer will resolve my issue, and that I will just receive another standard email saying that responses will be delayed (no kidding). Why is it that only Internode is affected by COVID-19 (an excuse) and my new ISP isn't? Using Internode has been a huge mistake that has cost me $160 for unbelievably poor service. Internode support staff incorrectly told me that the issue was my modem, resulting in me buying a new modem I am not using ($80). I never received an apology for this error, let alone an attempt to compensate for the money I paid. I paid $30 for a dongle to use while Internode took a week to get me set up, something I am no longer using as lockdown means I can't use the dongle outside my home. Internode did not postpone my billing date even though they took a long time to get me set up. Internode has charged me for Internet even though when I received the invoice I immediately replied saying I do not want to pay for Internet I have not received.2 comments

Reliable service
As a long term customer I can confirm that I haven't experienced any issues with Internode. Upgrading to NBN in 2022 was seamless. However I was assured by a representative that i would keep my pre-NBN phone number. On the day of installation I was given a new phone number so something wasn t communicated. Telephony staff are knowledgeable and easy to understand.

Reliable, just right for my and my family's needs
Other providers are much cheaper for the same product, with one company offering speed >50mbps & unlimited data at $60/m.
I stay with Internode because the service is exceptional; connection is reliable.

Been with Internode since about 2007. Says it all.
Regular, reliable, helpful. Speed is OK. Only problem is with associated Mobiles product due to poor local signal. Telephone service response times seem to have increased since iiNet takeover. Support call center employs Australians. I'm definitely not racist but much easier to understand if you have poor telephone speech recognition. In spite of being with Internode for twelve years they failed to upgrade me from heritage contract to three times higher allowance for same price until I complained.

internode not the problem
when I first joined I kept losing connection and it would be 2-3 days before a Telstra tech came out and checked home connection .. after this happening numerous times and getting the response from the telstra tech ( a different excuse every time ) we finally got a telstra tech who worked out that our landline no was not marked as in use at the exchange down the road so we kept getting disconnected every time a new customer needed a spot at the exchange .once they sorted it everything was fine . I'm not great with computers and tech stuff so I did appreciate the time they would take with my limited knowledge in response to their questions about the problem ... it is as good as the radio system can work
it works well in off peak times. When there are many using the NBN it gets much slower and drop outs are more often. It is as good as what is available. We have had great service from the internode staff over many years.

Wouldn't move to anyone else
Very reliable internet. Have been with them for years. On the rare occasion I have had a problem it has been at my end and so good to immediately speak to a clearly understandable and efficient person who sorts me out straight away.

I am a senior citizen, My internet always work well. If I ever have any troubles it is usually something I done wrong the online team And being able to go into the shop is for me priceless .

Excellent ISP
I have been with Internode for years,ever since broadband.I have only suffered very few and minor cut outs and these only ever last for about 30 seconds or so.All communication has always been handled promptly and any problems,to which there were few,were always sorted out in an efficient,courteous and prompt manner.
I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a great ISP.

Great service from Internode Service Desk
Saturday last I lost connection to the internet for my Internode home service. I used the callback facility when I logged the call and the response time was as advised. At the time the service was down in my area so restoration was not possible. The mobile phone service from another provider appeared to have the same problem as an internet connection was not available through the phone. Later in the day I again contacted the Help Desk and the support person quickly walked me through a fix on the modem and service was restored. Please be advised no money has changed hands for this review. :-)

After many years with Internode we have never encounted a problem including a lightning strike on our home that there wonderful,courtious and patient staff could not resolve. There call back is always within there stated time frame if not earlier.

Don't use Internode. Blames outages to get out of compensating customers
I have been with Internode since 2017. I found them great at the start, but now they are rude and keep blaming outages for poor or non-existent internet connections. They refuse to give a discount on my bill, even when they say it was at their end. When I ask for a discount I am told no you can't have one, it was an outage.
I have put in complaints, yet no-one has contacted me. The only time someone contacted me was when I gave a poor rating on a feedback survey. I was practically interrogated as to why I gave a poor rating.

since 2017 and there are times my internet was below par and no discount. My ticket number from the complaint is 21201084. I won't be the only one who is going to post a bad review, as my daughter has had poor internet speeds from your company and she is on a faster speed of 25, yet is slower than my 12 and she only lives around the corner. An adequate and reliable service for our needs.
Our Bronze service has been very reliable over the many years we have been with Internode. A very few short outages and one which lasted for around a week. The latter was traced to a failed undersea cable pre NBN. Internode were realistically helpful as the problem was beyond their control and adjusted charges shortly after. Customer service has always been professionally respectful and relevant.
