Outstanding Service & Expertise
We purchased a lounge suite and bed at King Living in Richmond but couldn't have done it so seamlessly without Connie's excellent customer service and prompt communication. Connie was able to provide us with so much information about the products and listened to us to ensure the selected product accurately matched our needs. Building a house is stressful enough and we weren't really looking forward to organising furniture but our experience with Connie was actually enjoyable, speedy and very professional.

Joseph was phenomenal! Looked at our floor plan, knew exactly what to do - and we did it!
We've bought with Kings 4 times now. The new suite we wanted (Monti) had been moved upstairs in the Richmond store - but we found it eventually.
We bought it - with the help of Joseph (who very patiently uploaded our floor plan, moved furniture around (virtually) and assured us it was great for our - as yet un-built - space.). He was phenomenal. He even made my husband coffee (which was much needed after having to deal with a stressed-out wife).

Purchased 2 sofas at the Richmond store. We found Joseph White to be extremely knowledgeable about the products and very helpful with colours and sizing. He was able to place the sofas on the plan of the area to show how they fit into the room. Can't wait to get our sofas which are very elegant, but more importantly, very comfortable.

Ordinary Workmanship, coupled with Poor QA and pathetic Customer Service
2 warranty claims in 4 months, each time it took over a week to get a call back and then another week to schedule a visit to undertake the repair. First claim was poor quality control with clips not locked, Second claim is poor workmanship with bolts falling out, missing lynch pins, mechanism subsequently not working. This is on a top of the range delta cloud III with entertainment piece - nothing but massive disappointment. Its one thing to be unlucky enough to get a lemon, but the after sales service is of poorer quality than the unit itself - not again.

Brilliant customer service
Purchased an amazing king sofa from one of the best sales person I have met.
We were undecided about what kind of couch to buy ie shape and even the brand.
Walked in to the Richmond store and had the best customer service from Craig Sinclair.
He made us very welcome, suggested different materials and even made us a coffee.
We are tough customers ... at times hard to please but Craig was incredible.
Highly recommend King Living and Craig.

Great service in the store and follow-up
Paulette in the Richmond store provided outstanding service and helped us work through a range of options in choosing the pieces that were most comfortable for us and suited our space and aesthetic. A great product well sold
The product is great but for a non furniture type of guy, it is difficult to narrow things down. Fortunately, Anne O'Brien, a lovely Irish sales person, helped me and we chose the right furniture in a well structured colour. I think Anne works out the customer quickly and pitches the right way. Very happy. Would happily buy more items at Richmond when the circumstance demands.

First time customers of King furniture and how fortunate we were to be served by Robert at the Richmond store. Ever so patient, helpful and understanding as we discussed our room size etc and options. Faulty couch. Customer service, what customer service??
Purchased a new set of couches in March 2018 and my order is still not complete. I spoke to customer service initially and they were cooperative. When the lady went on leave someone else took over and since then numerous phone calls were made and no one even bothers to keep up to date communication with me. When i call and ask to speak with the supervisor they say their busy or in a meeting. This is definitely not the experience you should receive from King Furniture. Terrible customer service, not a good product
Wasn’t going to write a review and just suck it up but after visiting 2 king furniture stores in Melbourne and being treated like crap at both of them I decided to take time out of my busy life and let others know that this shop is pathetic!!! At the first store in Southbank - the sales staff were so stuck up that we couldn’t get any service for 10 minutes of being in the store. After we were finally approached by a staff member - she made us feel like we were bothering her by talking to her. She was so rude that I decided to leave and go elsew...Read more
here. So then my family talked me into going to the Richmond store. Well, the first time I went there - it was great, I got lots of info, staff were pleasant etc so I thought twice about my overall impression. Came back a few weeks later to purchase a couch - this time with my 2 year old and my parents. It was a totally different experience. We were made to feel like we were not welcome. Once again no one approached us for a long time - About 15-20 minutes. By this time my daughter started getting impatient so we went to walk around the showroom and accidentally knocked a table over, so we were told to watch her at all times. We were watching her - but obviously their products are not designed with a child in mind as the whole store was like a mine field !! If a child can’t go near your product - then maybe it shouldn’t be sold on shelves to families!!! So then we went downstairs to look at another couch - my kid walked through a curtain - and inside of it was one of their price stands which got knowcked over again. So the same sales man comes running to us and instructs is to hold on to your child at all times as this place is dangerous for children!! Ok mate, let me just put my kid I’m my bag so I can keep you happy. I was so upset today, just thought I’d share my story, I don’t want to be treated like I’m less of person because I am shopping with my child, and be treated like a scumbag because of the clothes I’m wearing. By the way - I was willing to furnish my whole house with those guys today - in excess of 30k but after being treated like I was - good luck ... goodbye to your commission . That’s all ... oh and by the way - the couches are totally not worth the top dollar that they expect you to pay. So uncomfortable ... do yourselves a favour - CHeck out other furniture shops - don’t get sucked into KINGs advertising campaigns. They are crap!!!1 comment

Fantastic in-store experience and customer service
Whenever we visit the Richmond store (which we have done often while deciding what couch to buy) we always find it easy to navigate and all staff are always very helpful and friendly. Today we purchased a second King couch for our home — we currently have the Delta couch which is going three years strong and still looks/feels brand new.
Today Elliot Ryan was our sales consultant and he made the entire process enjoyable and easy. Elliot was super helpful and had great product knowledge and advice. All in all we're really happy and can't wait to receive our new couch!

Love my new plaza sofa
My plaza sofa was recently delivered and it looks fabulous. Joseph White from the Richmond store was so helpful and courteous in assisting me. He assisted with the choice of fabric and colour and I could not be any more satisfied with the choice. I am very happy with the King Living shopping experience.
