So happy !
We have had very poor service from another provider who spent two and half weeks faffing around and not fixing the problem leaving us without internet for 2 and a half weeks. Launtel fixed it in 30 seconds. Signing up was really easy the service so far has been exceptional.

Engaged and excellent service, fantastic comms, and well priced
The service is rock solid as what they advertised, and their customer service has been impeccable - informative, and engaged. Add to this the pricing, dashboards, speed of delivery - totally recommended.

What a relief!
After a long and painful experience with another provider, I'd kinda given up on getting decent speeds coupled with good support - things were fine until there was an issue to deal with (was it really that much to ask!?).
Stumbled over Launtel on the Ozbargain forums and couldn't be happier. I've been really impressed with the features available to me in the dashboard, and the support is actually, well, supportive!

Excellent connection, fantastic support.
We were connected to Launtel via FTTC connection today.
We had some local networking problems, quickly resolved by their excellent support.
The connection is excellent - currently getting 96Mbps down and ~35Mbps up.

Very Impressive service
I recently signed up to Launtel's free trial and have been very impressed with the service. I had been experiencing very poor speeds with a previous provider, a problem that Damian began rectifying immediately. He has been in constant contact with me during the whole process and I am now getting very good speeds and a solid connection. My experience has been great and the customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend Launtel .

Perfect internet provider.
Connection is always reliable. Never had a drop out, have used launtel at multiple residents now, and also have friends who use the service and they as well as me highly recommend launtel. Could not speak more highly. This service has been an absolute life saver where other providers haven't been able to. Launtel are prompt with there replies if ever there is a fault which is extremely rare. Would highly recommend launtel as an Internet service provider.

Quick connection, great speeds
I came across this ISP through product review and was surprised about the offering. Decided to take up the 7 day free trial and was instantly impressed. The customer service over facebook chat was super helpful, i was connected within 3 hours and get at least 47mbps everywhere in my house.

The best ISP that i ever dealt with, Great Connection, Great Customer Service A++++++++++++++
I gave it a shot as they offered free 7 days trial, What make me believe them is that they didn't even asked you for your credit card at the beginning, they just connected the services. At the beginning, i configured my wireless router wrongly and only got the speed of 45Mbps (I subscribed to 100Mbps plan) . So I shoot an email (it was on Sunday 8 PM), i expected that my email will get a response on the following Monday. Very good service and professional
All is going very well, quite happy with it. needed assistance to get going and that was readily available.
I think the plan on offer is a better way to go rather than the flat rate per month type.

Early Days But So Far So Good
My brand new house has pure fibre (FTTP) and I just joined days ago and still on trial. I was with Leaptel for a year and I can say the speed I'm getting is almost the same averaging 92/36 consistently on a 100/40 plan.
The only reason I switch is because of the better pricing model Launtel has, plus the unlimited data. Whereas in Leaptel I am paying $90/month for 100/40 with limited to 500GB.
Speed wise no difference and I'm giving Launtel 5 stars for that. BUT, if I get lower than 90 download speed, one star will fade into the blackhole.

Perfect if you don’t use internet al the time
Love the idea where you can pause the service when not required. Works really well in my case.
Smooth transition from another ISP and great service from Launtel Team.

The best NBN provider and my perfect pick!
So lucky I found Launtel on 'productreview' website and it was my perfect pick for NBN internet. Excellent local customer service and prompt response even at night, especially, Damian (director) who replied all the questions I had about the router. I feel that I'm a 'VIP' customer in the way they help and support me for a new connection. So, I had a smooth switch over from another provider to Launtel.
Launtel NBN with no lock-in contract, with bonus of 7 days trial, and residential portal is very useful to monitor the graphs, modify the speed, or pause the service whilst I go away for holiday.
Easy connection and super-fast speed etc. So happy!

Excellent all round
These guys are great, despite influx of new customers and employees they made sure i was connected. Multiple people were in contact with me and after i was connected they made sure i was happy with the service. Speeds are fast and the portal is great for changing speeds and tracking history. This company has an edge of current broadband providers.

Exactly what we are looking for!
Great communication! Smooth churn from another provider to Launtel. Connection has been solid and the portal they provide to monitor speed/graphs etc is top notch. The owner comes from a technical background so thus this cuts out the bureaucracy that is Australia's NBN.

Great customer service and prompt connection
Signed up after seeing ozbargain post with 7 day free trial and early adopter discount. Decided to try 100/40 connection as it is free for the trial and can downgrade speed any day or when trial finishes. Despite being inundated with connections I was connected within a few hours and had connection up and running. Speed test showed 80-90Mbps. Got an email from support (Damian) to check in to make sure my connection was ok. Will be changing to Launtel from ABB.

Second connection with Launtel
I am that 1 in 25 million person....haha. Damian has been there all the way for both my connections back in Tassie and now here in Geelong. Loving the FTTC speeds(nearly 100Mb/40Mb) and ability to change plans/pause service :-) 5 star all the way :-)

Changing speeds & pausing without needing to talk to anyone!
Speeds have been better than Aussie, in the 4+ years of using the NBN no provider has beaten Aussie, every, single, time the connection would have drop outs or speed issues. Launtel, so far has been better in terms of speed and solid connection. It's also cheaper! When calling Aussie last night to cancel took over 1 hour...
The ability to change the speeds at any point, or pause the plan if you go away for the weekend is amazing, that is future thinking. The speed change takes about 30 minutes i have found to go through, but officially 3 hours...Read more

Wow - a telco that makes you feel that you're their only customer both in service and product. Fast uninterrupted speeds. Having control of your speed choices and pausing the service whilst on holidays is a bonus. So happy I found you!

Definitely, if you have Fiber to the premesis.
Yes with fibre to premesis but I have found slightly slower speeds, but I beleive that was due to very high traffic during peak times

Hi Aryan. Yes you can go all the way up to Gigabit (1000Mbps) but only on fibre the premises and only in certain areas where we have the CVC to compensate of the bandwidth required.
If you flick an email to [email protected] with your address they will be able to tell you if you can achieve those speeds.
Keep in mind that your router needs to be able to handle the speed too.

Hi Launtel, what's the NBN connectivity in Darwin?

Hi Yakub, Darwin is one of our directly connected areas so we can provision services quickly etc.
However we don't have any peering in Darwin (very few providers do) and instead backhaul it to Sydney first. This is not an issue for most people because 90% of Australian content comes from Sydney anyway. However if you are talking to a server in Darwin (like your office), the latency would be high.
The other thing to watch is that you should be careful doing speedtests over wifi in Darwin unless you know the packet loss is really low due to the high latency to Sydney.
