After trying for 2 weeks to connect internet to our new address through Optus I finally gave up. Read a couple of reviews of Launtel and decided to give them a go. They had the internet up and running in a day and the only reason it took so long was because I took ages to reply to their emails that they initiated, after my reply it was up in 30 minutes. Didn't think it was possible to have an ISP that emails you first when there's issues. Since then internet has been reliable and although I'm only on the 50Mbps plan I haven't had a speed test run under that speed yet. So far a very happy customer
Unlike any other service provider I’ve dealt with, LaunTel was fast, courteous, and understanding. They demonstrated a solution based philosophy, exceeded all expectations and made it so easy - not just the connection, but also organizing for the replacement of the modem and antenna, and additional system information so I can work well from home.

- quite stable, even in rainy days! My previous internet service was terrible, always dropouts in rainy days

Background: I recently moved flats in Canberra, into a building that has fibre in a big box in my wardrobe. Had been with TPG for more than five years. Decided I wanted a change of ISP. Was all set to try Aussie Broadband, based on a sibling's recommendation and some reviews here. But after noting some reviewers here who cautioned that AB's support wasn't much chop, I held off. Saw a listing for Launtel. Never heard of that company before.
So signed up for the seven day...

I have just moved house with Launtel, and it was SO easy getting my internet connected. Honestly, I could go on and on about how great these guys are: the customer service as well as the actual internet. Ignore the others, go with Launtel. Seriously, cancel any service you have with another ISP, and sign up with Launtel. JUST DO IT! I would provide 1,000 stars if I could!

Brilliant service and pre paid concept allows full flexibilty of usage. You are in control
Great concept, had difficulties getting router going but the tech support were brilliant and patient. Im finally up and running, trialling the 50mg DL speed and feels great to have a reliable signal here in the hinterlands Byron shire. I can get some work done now! Thnks to Gemma who sorted out my router issue by reverting it back to factory settings via the portal as the firmware upgrade didnt work on a tp link router. Happy camper now

If you are looking for an internet provider check out Launtel. They are amazing. They have a call centre in Australia. When I called them they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Pay for 400MB you get 400MB, love the fact you could also get a better upload speed than most others with a residential plan. seem to have good communication, I haven't had to call them as yet. The price per day is a interesting concept.

When does 100MB actually mean that. Launtel have been outstanding and delivered the goods with my FTTC connection. They have been superb in support, information and ease of use.
As I was moving from another state, I couldn’t be sure as to when I would be able to confirm NBN connection and start my trial. I didn’t need to follow up with them at all, they followed me up to see how I was going and if they could do anything more to help.

It is a great feature to be able to auto top-up enabling me to set and forget the fast internet from a great bunch of people. I couldn’t recommence Launtel enough.Thanks Adam. One of the best internet providers with real people on the phone who understand the need of not so tech savvy people like myself, easy to deal with and so far very happy with the service.

I’ve literally been with Launtel for 1 week and have had the fastest internet that I’ve ever had. Not only that but they have sent me multiple emails checking in on me, making sure I’m having no troubles, and just making sure I’m happy with their service.
So many places try and trap you with automatic renewals but Launtel did the opposite for me - if I wasn’t happy after a week it automatically cancelled. Really made me feel like my experience was important and was what mattered.
Also it’s priced per day meaning I can upgrade my speeds even further when I need super fast internet. Just a lot more flexible than anything I’ve been on previously.
Overall I’m stoked with the service so far.

- Customer service 1000% better
- Greater flexibility with the portal being able to recharge when you like and to choose what speeds you want
- Ability to pause internet when going away to lower the cost is great
- Overall I'm way happier paying a little extra to be with a greater service. You won't regret it

We have converted quite a few of our customers and their connections over to Launtel now. It is always a very painless experience, with staff available on the phone easily, and frank honest advice and information at hand. Any difficult NBN connections are handled much better than any other company we have needed to deal with, and significantly better than the usual Tier 1 ISPs.

Nothing but a positive experience with Launtel:
- Quick activation time (approx 5 mins)
- Bulletproof connection
- Good communication/early warnings about any maintenance
- Any queries I have submitted have always been answered almost instantaneously

When I first reached out to Launtel, I wasnt a customer, simply a random enquiring. I have a holiday house down at Loch Sport and had plenty of questions. Marcus provided me outstanding initial customer service and knowledge, and fantastic follow up service. I have had to shift the install date once or twice, and again nothing has been too much to ask Marcus, he is an outstanding team player for this ISP. well done. As a person who heads up a global customer success team with a customer first mentality, if I could have the attributes shown to me from Marcus and the Launtel team, it would certainly set us apart from the rest, as his work ethic sets him apart and the ISP apart from their peers, so far so good.

The connection is reliable with no known dropouts. When problems arise expect outstanding customer service on standby. I will be recommending Launtel is all my friends and family. 8pm tonight my internet dropped for the 6th time (with Telstra FTTN). Picked up the phone and spoke to Gemma. Her service was fantastic!!! Switched over in 10min. Awesome work!

Excellent responsive service. I cannot praise these guys enough for all the help they have provided with setting up our internet service in a new property to us which we were unsure when or whether there had been a previous connection. They have been patient, kind and accurate in their instructions.

Fake reviews, if you want an internet that disconnects and looses packages 5 times a day, choose them!
I am sending this review from my personal hotspot on my mobile phone, can't stand it, been using it for 6 months, 5 outages, every time I contact this company, they say it's my local LBN provider's problem, do I pay you or the provider? It's your responsibility to communicate to your network provider to resolve network issues, why should the user have to accept this? On average there are 1-2 disconnections per day, if you don't fix this problem I will keep sending my reviews to all other platforms.

Have been using Launtel for just over a year now and found the service the first time around when i joined to be excellent. The speeds i got were as advertised and consistent at my previous place. Just moved to a new place today and Gemma Hedges helped me get everything up and running over the phone late at night as the setup at my new place is a bit different to my previous one. The customer service from Gemma is top notch along with James who assisted me via email in preparation to my move. Thanks, i hope the speed and reliability here is as good as my previous place.
