The worst buying experience of my life.
Purchased a fiat (popstar) from northern motor group bundoora. Went to pick up the car on the day that was agreed to, only to be told that car wasn't ready. We live about 70km away from the dealership. So you can imagine how frustrated we were . Not even a curtesy phone call to let us know not to come down on this day.
Another day was organized for pick up.

Excellent Customer Service
We bought a XV Subaru from Norther Motor Group, Bundoora. Our dealer Nick Ouzas besides having a great sense of humour was to say the least excellent to deal with. Due to his extensive knowledge of cars (and people) was a clear communicator, easy to understand and very understanding of our financial commitments. I cannot speak too highly of Nick including his Manager Con. I would recommend Nick, Con and the rest of the staff at NMG to anyone intending to purchase their next car. Thank you

Word to the wise, make sure you do your research, before you step into this place
I’m so disappointed in this dealership and would not recommend or purchase anything from this place. Me and my partner were looking at a purchase a 2015 white Mitsubishi ASX, they quoted us a price of $20,990 After some negations we managed to get a price of $19,000.

ISUZU DMAX ON-LINE PURCHASE
I purchased a second hand 2016 D Max after having seen it advertised on Carsales.com. Living in Qld, I did not have the opportunity to inspect the vehicle, however Peter Constanzo alleviated any fears I may have had. He was a pleasure to deal with (phone and internet), and I believe completely honest in his description of the vehicle. Very Bad Experience
I had a bad experience with Northern Nissan last day after taking my Nissan xtrail for a 40,000 km service. Upon checking the vehicle after servicing, I found that there was a tear at back of 3rd row seating. And to cover the tear up, they have glued it back to the wooden surface. I haven't noticed this initially but after a while putting some stuffs at the back half way through to home, this glue marks came to my visibility. I responded back saying the car belongs to me and am pretty aware of all the dents and scratches. However, they were not even ready to help me with the matter and I drove back as I personally not interested in arguing with someone who cannot admit their mistake. In such situations, I understand that there was no point in continuing the discussion further which would create a negative mind and atmosphere. I left the place with no hurts and regrets in them. Poor communication
Purchased new Jeep Cherokee,deal finalised within hour,all good,delivery within 2 weeks.Day set,travelled from country,car not there,apologies, ready following week,due to their tardiness will deliver.Paid for vehicle,still no reply on delivery,spoke to sales manager,no knowledge of this.Down Saturday to pick up car,everything right to go...... forgot towbar and no bookwork.In the four weeks dealing with this,not one return call and empty promises,still waiting now for call.

JEEP SERVICE
I recently had my 18 month service on my Jeep Cherokee at Northern Motors and must say I was more than pleased with the service, the front of house staff when both checking in and picking up the vehicle, and the presentation of the vehicle following the service. And in particular I loved the service carried out by John the driver who was available to deliver me to Greensborough after dropping off the vehicle and then picking me up to return to Northern Motors to collect my vehicle.

Terrible after sales customer service
We bought a Nissan Pathfinder from Bundoora Nissan. Our dealer Nick was spectacular with great humour. He introduced us to his manager Con who was nice too on the sale day. Our deal was signed off within half an hour.
I came back the next day to get the car detailed as promised by Nick. I was completely surprised by Con's change in attitude. He referred to me as the Pathfinder instead of my name, when he spoke to Nick on the phone. He looked very irritated as Nick gave us the wrong info about detailing date. Good service... but one thing
Bought a Kia Cerato just the other day, all went well, got what i felt was a good deal and that is always the aim.
Just one thing... the person in after sales ( you know that office you go to where they try and extract more money from you on useless CRAP like paint protection? better known as snake oil ) well that individual needs to learn that when a customer says no they don't want paint protection, take NO as the answer and be done... don't keep asking and making an issue of it, because that comes across as rude and somewhat ignorant.
Cant really tell you about servicing, because i never get my car serviced at dealers, because contrary to popular belief....you don't have to

Car service fail
Brought my car in for service a few weeks ago and requested a wheel rotation and a balance. I trusted them and thought they would actually rotate the wheels like I requested. Didn't notice till a week after that they didn't rotate the wheels at all, yet they charged me for it. They also charged me for a wheel balance which was supposed to happen after the wheel rotation. If you did have your service recently, make sure you stop to check that they actually did work on your car because there is a good chance they didn't do anything and you wouldn't know any better. After raising my concerns, they called me and I spoke with them. They admitted that the wheels were not rotated and it was a misunderstanding (not sure how it could be a misunderstanding if the guy at the counter even went through the list of everything that was done, including the wheel rotation). They said they needed to speak with management to arrange for a refund back to me and call me back. It's been over a month. I never got a call back. I never got anything in the mail and I never got a refund. Tried calling numerous times since. Left messages each time and never got a return phone call. Note that this company gives you a 10% discount off service if you give a good review. Makes most of the positive reviews they receive questionable.Similar opinion?
