Quality workmanship and design
We purchased a brand new townhouse build by Provincial Homes at the end of the completion. Even without being completed (there were no carpet or appliances fitted yet, the townhouse was very well presented with quality workmanship and finishes. At the last inspection we have noticed a couple of small imperfections that were fixed straight away and the finished townhouse is very well presented, elegant and modern. After the settlement, we were required a technical assistance that we received promptly and appreciate the help.

Disillusioned clients
We built the Waverley 36 and love our new home, [names removed] were amazing during pre construction and we loved working with them.
Unfortunately the build didn’t go smoothly, the house was left unlocked despite our numerous complaints, among other things. That being said we are now in the maintenance stage, handover was July 2022, and we submitted our sheet August 2022. We have had a small chip in our ceaserstone repaired (January) and some chips in the gyprock spackeled, (December) some paint spots removed and a couple of small things repair...Read more

Love our new home
Thank you to all the team at Provincial Homes. From our first point of contact with George at Home World to the Office staff and the lovely Jo on Reception, we have enjoyed a positive building experience.
We love our new home. We built the Woollahra on a sloping block which enabled us to change the design and have stairs leading into the kitchen and TV Room. We also included a Formal Dining Room and large, undercover Alfresco area. We are so happy that the team at Provincial Homes worked with us to change the floor plan to create our dream ho...Read more
me to suit our block. We visited the Exhibition Home on many occasions and made many selection changes so internally our home would reflect the Hampton's style which included making changes to the Staircase Balustrade, Vanities, Kitchen etc. We love the changes and everyone comments on the staircase, our amazing kitchen and the high quality of workmanship in our new home. Our build took just over 12 months but it was truly worth the wait. Of course, there were a few hiccups along the way but clear communication with the Office staff and our Supervisor, Jerry, any issues that arose along the way were sorted. We have now entered the post construction phase and we believe any issues that may arise during this period will be processed efficiently and in a timely manner. I would certainly recommend building with Provincial Homes. Once again, thank you everyone at Provincial Homes.1 comment

Amazing experience building our dream home
This was our first time building a new home. The people at Provincial Homes were really patient and supportive of the entire process - ensuring that we were completely satisfied and happy. They guided us every step of the build from signing the tender to choosing the house design, colour schemes and internal fittings. We wanted to customise our house, and that was something Provincial Homes allowed us to do. We found ourselves at the Kellyville display homes on a regular basis most weekends, relentlessly asking the staff things we weren't sure ...Read more
about, and asking them to change our designs - the staff were really patient and professional, making sure all aspects were addressed. We ended up going with the Woollahra and adding a 2 bedroom granny flat to our land. After the tender was signed, the build started early 2022 after the January break period, and we are happy to say the build finished on time and within schedule. We are very happy with the workmanship and the quality of our property. While we have yet to lay the tiles/timber floorings which we opted to do ourselves, we are very much looking forward to living in our new home. We have gotten numerous compliments from our neighbours whom saw the house come up over the last year. Throughout the entire process, communication with the team at Provincial Homes was efficient. Phone calls and emails were returned usually within 24 hours. Concerns were sorted out promptly, people were approachable, and the builders were amazing. These actions are really a testament to the what the company stand for. While we have just entered our post-construction phase, and are yet to have any issues arise, we are confident that if we have any concerns in the future, Provincial Homes will continue to support us and deliver their quality workmanship.1 comment

Walking the talk well beyond entitlement
We built and moved into our Provincial home just over 14 years ago.
For no evident reason, over quite a large area our garage ceiling gyprock began to sag away from the joists and crack along the sheet join plastering. I phoned Provincial and explained the problem including that insurance would not cover it because there was no 'causing incident', and acknowledged that we were beyond the 7 year warranty period.
I shared my view though that I wouldn't have thought it an unreasonable thing to expect a ceiling to remain in tact for many more tha...Read more
n 14 years, let alone the mandated warrantied 7. Provincial's Maintenance Manager recognised some merit in my argument, and consequently arranged for their contractors to replace the collapsed sheeting, sand the plastering and repaint the entire ceiling. I very much appreciated being heard. Their phone on-hold messaging talks about Provincial having integrity - a trait that holds much value for me. If people talk that, I expect them to walk it. My experience of the personal character of their staff as well as the obvious repair action on this occasion are first class examples of how they do. I'm very impressed as are many people I've spoken to about this - including others I know who work in the building sector who've said there's not many builders they know of who would have responded as Provincial have. We've always been happy with our choice of home, and it looks like there's even more reason for us to be than we first realised.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Post handover issues - resolved now
It is extremely rare that I provide negative feedback, however, I see this as an opportunity for future improvements.
First of all, I would like to thank [names removed] for their excellent support during the consultation, pre construction and months nearing to the completion..
However, in between the months of final construction and handover, things appeared to go wary.

Many thanks for our new home
I had a very unusual block of land and I wanted to build a home and attached granny flat. I was very nervous but after meeting with George Posa, whom I was recommended to, I felt quite comfortable with his calming and knowledgeable manner. So after visiting other homes at Kellyville Home Centre we decided to go with Provincial homes. It was one of the best decisions I have made. My daughter and I were very impressed with the experience and knowledge that everyone at Provincial had. I was worried that with the shape of my block I wouldn’t get it...Read more
approved, but with their experience it all came together. Thank you so much to Adam Hitchcock and the architect team. We chose the Nu Caprice with an attached two-bedroom granny flat. We made a few changes to suit our requirements and needs and were very happy with the result. There are so many people to thank. I can’t name them all but I would especially like to mention Vicky Sue, Erica Sader, Vicky Haimin, Mei Jin, Jo Calvert and of course our Project Manger Terry Doyle, who was always available when we wanted to see how the project was going. Terry was always obliging and if he didn’t have the answers to our questions, he would promptly find out and let us know. Although it took a bit of time to finalise our proposal, once it was approved it was all systems go. The tradespeople they used were very good and a big thank you to Tony who did the piers and concrete slab. He really knows his work and for me it was very important to have a good solid foundation. Unfortunately, as with all project homes, there were some expectations that were not met due to misunderstandings of the fine print. A small word of advice to never assume that obvious things would be automatically included such as a TV aerial, installed light over the staircase not just a provision and contact from the electrician to further discuss specific cable and socket placement requirements before installation. All minor details but once again another cost to add to the final project. Overall we are very happy with our house and granny flat and feel that it was all done with a high standard of quality for a project home. Any issues that we have experienced have been promptly addressed, and without being made to feel of any inconvenience to the team. The ability to have a grace period to let the house settle and experience the four seasons to uncover any problems has also put my mind at ease for quality guarantee. Our friends and family who have visited have been impressed and comment that they think it’s well built and a good design. Darrel you have an amazing team who strive to do their best for your clients, you should be very proud, keep up the good work and yes I would definitely recommend Proven Provincial Homes to others. Thank you once again and I know that if there are any other problems, we just have to let you know and it will be fixed!! Bad work
It is unfortunate that i had to resort to referring the matter in relation to defective work carried out in my new house completed in July last year to the H.I.A in the first instance and thence to the Department of Fair Trading. Action by the Department is underway. I submitted a full list of defects to the builder in September last year. Some of the defects, such as plumbing and badly installed cavity door to a bathroom, have been fixed after relentless phone calls to the builder, but others are still pending. Management is unapproachable to...Read more

When you are assured of getting your new house completed and finished to your satisfaction and according to what was promised and for which you paid all your life's saving, and you do not get that, it adversely affects your health by looking at things not properly done in the house, day-in-day-out, Perhaps, in hindsight, a question comes to your mind whether the choice this builder to build the house was the right one. A Great Experience
We chose Provincial Homes after spending many weekends at Home World in Kellyville. The Provincial staff at the display home were very helpful and we really liked the design of the Nu Caprice. There were several variations for home size which allowed us to consider space vs. cost. Our new home was in a moderate bushfire zone (BAL19) and Provincial were able to meet the requirements for the upgrades required. The build started on time and finished early as 2018 had favourable weather. Whilst we had an overspend on the concrete pier allowance (du...Read more
e to site conditions), we were invited to site by the concreter who explained why and we measured the depths of the pier holes together to agree to the total depths drilled. The selection phase was easy although we would have appreciated more kitchen layout options. In the end, we designed our own and provided to Provincial in integrate into the plan. The carpet options were very limited so we elected to handle this independently. The quality of workmanship is very good and we understood that many of the trades have worked with Provincial for 10+ years. Our site supervisor (Terry) was very accommodating and typically answered emails within a day and always answered his phone when we called. Our overall experience has been very positive and we would highly recommend Provincial Homes.1 comment

Very Disappointing Customer Service
All in all we have been very happy with our new home the structure fittings etc with most things that needed to be fixed we just emailed Provincial I can say they have been quite responsive, except for this case in particular. Our neighbour had complained to us just before Christmas that they had water leaking in their yard (they only just moved in). We contacted Provincial and they sent out their drainers (we thought it was the sewer.) in tank and that there was in fact a cracked pipe. They fixed that issue but said that it was not their fault that it was the people that put in the rain tank, they all work for the same company so of course they are denying that they did anything wrong. The drainers were very very rude left the place in an absolute mess and refused to even put the dirt back under our concrete slab which is now undermined. The drainers also took it upon themselves to come back while I was home and access the side of my house without notifying me that they were taking the cracked pipe. So now we are left with grass and plants that are dying because we have no sprinkler system, a pile of dirt on our new lawn and pavers in a heap. I am so disappointed with Provincial after emailing them twice and calling the supervisor we have had no response at all. We feel like we have been left out to dry and not supported at all.3 comments

2 years after moving, sewer water meter still not connected
After nearly 2 years of getting house keys, still we have the Sewer Water connection broken. (It was connected to our mains Water connection as a interim fix, continues to be like that). I have followed about this with Provincial Homes at least 3 times over past 22 months, the last being only 5 days ago. So far no one has contacted me for any answers. This has been setup as per the standard procedure (we have set it up like that so that a flow test regulation can be done). Once we have a final inspection with fair trading a sticker is placed in the meter box by the inspector and then his paperwork is sent to Sydney Water to let them know that it’s ready for the recycled meter to be installed, date of final inspection was 15/10/2015 I.D. no 3496190. This is standard in the recycled area and is what has been done. Sydney Water needs to install your actual recycled water meter which they do not to appear to have done (this is part of their service) and not something that the plumber can do. We will however see what we can do to push this through for you.Since raising this issue, I can confirm the matter has been resolved. Got the Sydney water recycled meter installed and looks to be complete. Thanks Provincial Homes for getting this done quickly.

At what stage does the Garage doors and entrance doors be fitted, I noted that you Construction Stages are different to other builders, can you please explain me what are the significant activities that are performed at each stage:
1 Stage - Slab poured (Stage 1 finished)
2 Stage - Frames erected (Stage 2 finished)
3 Stage - Brickwork and Roofing Tiles laid (No pointing done) (Stage 3 finished)
Is this 3rd Stage called lockin stage, as you do not call this as Lockin stage, it is called "Brickwork and Roof Tile laid" stage. I think the next would be the gypboard stage, can someone please let me know at what stage do they put garage shutters and doors, electricals.
