My partner and I were so excited to build about 18 months ago when we found a beautiful piece of land here on the coast. This was my first build and my first home at 45yrs old so it was pretty special.

My experience building with Stroud Sunshine Coast was awful. It started out great with the sales team but went downhill from the moment we signed the contract. Problems and delays arose constantly due to poor communication from the office staff and site supervisor. I received multiple variations all initiated by the builder. Overall I am very unsatisfied with the quality of work and the finished product. I completely regret building with Stroud Sunshine Coast.

We still have outstanding defects from the PC inspection that have not been addressed as well as new ones that have appeared since the handover.

We had an emergency plumbing situation where sewerage was coming into the house that we had to resolve privately at our own financial loss because the plumber Stroud Homes supplied to us at handover was 'no longer affiliated' with Stroud Homes. Well planned and communicated, however with the boom in sales was working with unreliable and sometime poorer quality tradesman was tough for [Name Removed] but due his composed and professionalism we managed to get the outcomes as promised. We did our research, consulted with most top builders, and it was no doubt Stroud for sure.
Build was timely managed as outlined previously and seems quite solid.
Some issues were not even spotted by us, but was rectified in a timely manner for which we have great respect for these folks.
Design is absolutely perfect for us family with kids, spacious, cost effective and quite modern.

It was a great experience working with Stroud Homes Sunshine Coast for our first build. From start to finish we were met with clear and transparent communication. Any small challenges were met with haste and care. The attention to detail was as if it were their own home. I would highly recommend working with Stroud and we will definitely be using them as our builder for our future build.

From the very beginning there were signs that attention to detail, communication and professionalism were sub par. It only got worse from there. Amazing staff in the office always so calming and reassuring when situations came up.
Stroud above standard inclusions make for a beautiful finishing too our home. We are very happy with our home.

We recently finished building with Stroud Homes Brisbane South Acreage at New Beith Forest
The build took 31.5 weeks from bank letter of commencement to practical completion. Not the advertised and guaranteed 16weeks. That was more than 8 weeks later than the signed contract, and they finally finished the pool area approx 12 weeks later than the signed contract (34.5weeks) whilst we were trying to live there with temporary pool fencing and workers in the yard. I would recommend Stroud, very good workmanship, very good contractors and good communication. Had a few small issues when the build was completed, they were handled efficiently and quickly.
The total cost of the build came in just under budget, any changes made with materials occurring during construction were communicated quickly.

Stroud Brisbane South built us a Oakleigh 258 with a pool. The build was managed quite well overall, we got a new supervisor midway through the build and the new supervisor helped get our house over the line and was excellent in planning and co-ordinating our pool installation.

We have been in our Stroud Home for 9 months and are still completely in love with it. We have had no major problems, build quality is great and pulling up to it every afternoon is always a highlight of our day. My build process with Stroud was just excellent, everybody that I encountered at Stroud was fabulous. Any issues or requests I had were sorted out promptly and with ease. We bought a house that was halfway through build and we loved that Joshua, Jason and the team accommodate any changes they could that we requested.

Really happy with the process considering this was done during covid and construction supply issues we still got our house at the deadline they promised.

The entire Stroud team was always friendly, helpful, and patient. We couldn't of asked for a better experience. They walked us through everything from start to finish, always promptly answering our questions weather in person of via email.

The workmanship was excellent and we had no major issues barring any delays Covid related. We are so glad that Stroud offers a colour consultaion at the start of the build, it helped us decide alot of things and the finish product looks so much better than even we imagined. This was our first time building a home. Everything was amazing. From our very modified standard design process with Chris, through the preconstruction phase and our site supervisor was incredible. They kept us updated every week with pictures and offered walkthroughs at every stage. Our inclusions were great, and the contract was really clear on what we were getting. We have been in our home for just over a week. Our house is AMAZING.

From the first contact at the display home to the handover, Stroud Homes Fraser Coast has made us feel like family. All the ladies in the office were always helpful and answered any questions we had ( as first home builders, we had lots), nothing was too difficult.
Our Site Supervisor was amazing to deal with, any issues were rectified, any questions answered, he rang with Friday updates every week without fail.
We cant thank the team at Stroud Fraser coast enough. Thank you for building our dream home!

We are extremely happy with our home built by Stroud Homes Wide Bay.

The Stroud Homes Wide Bay team are the best. Right from day 1 we felt like we were in good hands. This coming from a customer who had always said they would never build! The process was smooth and the team were friendly and amazing to collaborate with. All the planning was completed in a couple of short meetings and we were regularly updated during the build phase.

Our build was a fixed quote which meant that we had financial certainty.

Both of these factors equated to a smooth build in what are exceptional times.
