Persistent issues with speed and support
I've just left this provider after 9 months. I haven't had a particularly good experience but I want to be fair and honest, i can see a few really nasty reviews here that seem needlessly sharp.
My major issues were quality of service and bandwidth. I ran network monitoring on an RPI cabled to the modem/router for a month prior to leaving and it showed chronic congestion issues and dropped connections.

ime I average 10 to 18 drop-outs per day, impacting external connections the worst. On the DSL logs only rarely did we lose sync - the problem seemed like a DNS fault most of the time, but changes to DNS didn't help. Resetting the router and wifi cards helped so I was willing to put this down to our router/modem. From a service perspective there is no phone number to call for support, just an online chat and email. They were responsive but still difficult to talk to, as in you would leave an email or chat support but then play phone tag to actually speak to someone. I would get voicemail saying call them back, but with no phone number to call. In most cases the issue would just not be resolved, despite what seemed to be a switched on support team. Saving money of support teams makes great sense to me but just made issues with congestion and dropouts frustrating when you couldn't reach someone reliably. I changed provider last week. Our connection speed is bomb-proof regardless of time of day. The dropouts stopped immediately. Our plan cost is $10 or so more on the highest speed tier and we get regular speed test results close to the posted levels. I get the impression the underlying problem is the NBN model, and a great deal of these issues are a result of Teleron's downstream providers according to their own technicians. I came to the provider on the back of recommendations of two friends who are telco techs, they assured me Teleron had been clever and invested in the right parts of the system to ensure a good end product but that doesn't seem to be working in all areas.Similar opinion? Great speed, communication and at an affordable price!
I signed up about 4 months ago now for unlimited 50mb/s and have not had any problems! I was a bit skeptical at first cos of the cheap price but they have been brilliant!

Very happy with the switch which was quite seamless.
Have had zero issues.
Quality of connection and customer service are worlds apart.

Fantastic service!
Connection occurred on time, with no delays or added costs. When I had a minor issue connecting to the modem, I had no trouble contacting Teleron by phone and having my problem solved in less than 3mins. My connection is much faster and more reliable than my previous provider, and the plan is by far one of the cheapest on the market. Would highly recommend!

Great speed and support
My experience with Teleron has been great so far. I have had fast internet speeds compared to my previous provider at a much better price. I called the support centre once and they were extremely helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend Teleron as a great and affordable NBN provider.

Best ISP I’ve experienced!
I connected on a heavy, platinum NBN Plan. I am SO happy with how fast it is, and how quickly everything was done from Teleron end. The service was knowledgeable, it was fast, any questions I had were comprehensively answered in a way that I could understand, and any requests I had were accommodated as soon as I asked!
You definitely don’t get this service anywhere else!

Teleron NBN Setup
Have just signed up for a NBN FTTN connection with Teleron. Was told by Teleron this would take 1 - 2 days. Have just queried them as to delay 5 days now, and have been told 1 - 3 WEEKS. Teleron, you weren't up front with this expected connection timeframe. Customer expectation should be managed better in future.

Very Happy...Amazed
I kept waiting for the internet with My Republic ISP for a month and they had their internal problems, moved to Teleron and it turned into running actively within 2 days.(including sending the router)
Even when I did something wrong during installation and sent them an email after 10 pm (after support hours) a nice guy replied back by the exact fix within minutes and made my day.
Very happy with the speed as well ~ 50 MB download ~ 20 upload. (50 MB package)

Just connected to fixed wireless NBN and highly recommend Teleron.
Having a Australian call centre is refreshing and being able to call and speak with one person and not be transferred from one department to the next is greatly appreciated. TAKE NOTE BIG TELCOS!

- Signed up at 5pm on Thursday and was up and running 9am on Friday! Less than 24 hours to go live!
- Signed up for 50mbps, currently receiving 45+mbps
- No dropouts or downtime so far
- I compared 5 different providers and their plans as well as Customer Service. I have seen people complain about billing and live chat support. Impressive service level
Clear communication, and everything with setup happened exactly on time for my new NBN connection.
When I then had a problem (self inflicted) with setup, my email was answered with a phone call to me within the hour! They called back at the agreed time after hours and solved my problem within 5 minutes.
I have never experienced this level of service before - let alone from a Telco.
Bye bye Optus.

Good after moving backhaul supplier
Signed up with Teleron back in March 2017 on the 25mb/s silver package and initially the speeds were only slightly better than ADSL2+ as I would get an average high speed of 12-16 mb/s. Since Teleron has moved to a new backhaul supplier I am getting consistent max speed of 18-22. Customer service is ok if you are handy at live chat otherwise you'll find it annoying. They will have people call you if you get real desperate and can't fix the issue over chat so that is always reassuring.
