They've got good rates and the customer service is great
Great rates. Been using Teleron for couple of years without issues, however lately there have been some connection issues and variable speeds for couple of weeks. Customer service was awesome and got the issue resolved pretty fast. Couldn't be happier, but despite excellent customer service future reliability worries me.

Do not bother
After being with telecom for 3 years. I'm trying to move house. They initially said yes. But then last minute said no carn't do it. With no reason why. Despite also wanting an upgrade in tiers. Switched companies. And said no worries

Scam artist rip off merchant.
Been with this backyard dodgy company for the past terrible year. Paid for 100Mbps plan last year on fixed wireless. With sites barely hitting 8000Mbps at all ever. What a frigging joke. Talk about SCAM ARTIST, RIP OFF MERCHANT. The kicker about this 100Mbps plan is, there is no such thing as 100Mbps available through nbn for fixed wireless. It was cancelled and turned off by nbn in May or so last year because nbn said it is too expensive and not viable to have switched on. So if you have a 100Mbps wireless plan with this company, be warned you...Read more
are being ripped off for something that doesn't exist. They are fraudulent. Any to go to the ombudsman to find out how to get refunded and also how to get money back for ripping me off with my current plan, as I am on 50000Mbps and only get 8000Mbs max. Look it up, we are entitled to a refund. Scum company.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Expect unusable speeds and service during on peak times.
Expect a fraction of your contracted speeds during on peak times.
Also require 30 days notice prior to cancellation so expect another bill before cancellation.
When i had first signed up service and speeds had been satisfactory, however fast forward 12 months the line stability and speed has degraded to unusable levels during on peak times.
Plenty of other providers out there would steer well clear of this mob.

18 Months of uninterrupted service (Teleron now closed down no longer trading)
Have have been with Teleron for more than 18 months. During that time that time i have had no complaints about my connection. People often blame the service provider for connection speed but most of the time it is due other influences like old copper lines or hardware issues. You don't get 24/7 Support like the bigger providers but the price is more competitive. I have no plans to change to another provider i am happy where i am..

Customer service was good, speeds patchy.
On NBN HFC. Issues with the line quality when NBN HFC was switched on in our area. Teleron were helpful and friendly in sorting these out with the NBN techs. Speeds were generally acceptable early on, but noticed in the last 4-6 months peak time wasn't great. Sometimes, it'll be so slow that I'd need to switch to mobile data to get things done. I contacted Teleron about this several times and they were helpful and attentive, but ultimately, the speeds fluctuated too often and annoyed me enough. Some weeks better than others. So it was difficult to pin down. Pricing of Teleron was sharp and I think their customer service is commendable. I'm leaving because of the fluctuating speeds that could very well be NBN's network.

Mediocre ISP
They have a very good and responsive customer service. Always there to help you via online chat which is good.
I am on lowest speed (10/1) which is more than enough for 2 people in a small apartment in CBD.
We were with dodo before with 25/5 speed unlimited.
So far it's been 3 months with them and never experience any significant issues. Although some lag when watching online content (youtube, etc.) during peaktime, overall it is acceptable ISP.
Reasonable price on data cap.

avoid at all costs
they never provided a service to the level of performance i had purchased. 50mbs service, with fibre to the premises (into our apartment) - never saw those speeds - typical speeds were around 15mbs, no faster than our previous broadband service which cost significantly less. their customer service is non existent. their website is terrible. there are far better providers out there.

30 days notice before expiry of contract!
Make sure you let teleron know (with 30 days notice) if you don't want your expiring contract to continue past the end date or you may be charged for an extra month.

Terrible service. Will use every trick to squeeze more money from you
Might seem like a good deal but there are a bunch of different providers that can supply the exact same service with a lot less headache. Wouldn’t be surprised if they bought a bunch of good reviews based on their previous behaviour.
Teleron’s service was incredibly difficult to set up initially.
Tech support (when you can actually get hold of them) were rude and unhelpful. They don’t even have a contact number readily listed. This should have been a red flag but I was naive.
With the pay as you go style plans you aren’t given any o...Read more
ption to actually pay the bill. You just have to wait until they decided to try and take the money. They also very quick to slap on late fees and other charges. If I wanted to have money automatically taken from my accounts I would have sign up to one of the those plans and not fork out the money for the connection fee. It’s just a sketchy business man who paid for a fancy looking website who’s on selling the same service as everyone else while trying to squeeze every last dollar from unsuspecting customers.Similar opinion? Beware - poor service coupled with threats
Connection never met speeds charged for and many drop outs. Things got worse when I attempted to exit.
When I spoke with them 2 months prior to the end of contract wanting to end early(reasonable given service never received as per contract) I was threatened by who I later learned to be [name removed] the CEO.
Beware that this provider will make on boarding very easy, however this is where the service ends. You are not going to be helped nor appropriately billed.

Awesome
Cheap NBN. Dirt cheap. But good connectivity, good speed, and absolutely fantastic customer service. Been with them for 8 months or so, no hiccups tech wise.

Avoid
The plan pricing is good signup was a breeze, they connected me very quickly, however from there I never got a good speed. I was getting 5-6mb/sec on the 12mb plan, I complained and did 10 speed tests so they could investigate further but I always had to follow them up and they never fixed it they wanted more speed tests which I didn’t have time to do!
6 months later I changed to 25mb in hope of better speed I paid $35 (rip off) to change my speeds which were then approx 17mb/sec- however most of the time my Netflix would work but the rest ...Read more
the net was unusable, I was surprisingly asked for more speed tests and they never did much more to fix it. I emailed them that I was leaving and they advised me that I had to give one months notice, so I asked what would happen if I didn’t, they, no joke, called me and straight up told me I would be referred to a debt collector! I was quite angry as you can imagine and it was only after a few questions I established that I would have to pay one more months worth to be rid of them- I agreed to this gladly to be rid of them, even though I think this is just poor form on their behalf. Now I’m with a new provider who gives me amazing speed, I won’t be back mainly because of the poor manner tech support have dealt with my case, and that they were only determined to help me when i started talking about leaving.Similar opinion? Friendly Staff and outstanding Service
I have been with Teleron for about 1.5 years. Everything was fine and no big dramas. But Teleron is not the cheapest on the market, so I decided to move to another provider. The Teleron Staff Craig offered me an extension period to help me make a smooth transfer to another provider. this is really helpful and they have showed genuine interest in helping the client.

Hi,
I have recently discovered the unreliability of the FTTN NBN. I have 5 days with no internet. Shoddy NBN techs. So I am curious if you offer a 4G backup like Telstra?
Thanks,
