Viano STV55UHD4K (55")

Excellent digital tv. Rubbish smart tv. Hardly any apps compatible. Google Play services needs updating. No way to update. No Stan, Disney or Kayo. Poor for 2 year old tv.

Hasn't been a big TV.
Only had it for approx. 24 months.
over the last year the remote would play up and the TV turn off randomly.
Yesterday it lost sound, then the picture froze. turned it off and now it won't turn on.
no power or standby lights, nothing.

Picture quality is good, sound is reasonable. Unit is slow to respond to the remote (thinking too much?) and the location of the remote sensor (bottom right) means it sometimes doesn't see the signal unless you hold the remote down low.
The software needs work. I still prefer to watch my little TV because the guide tells me all shows at once, this unit shows me all channels (I don't care that it's nine network or ABC, I want the name of the current show).
Some of the menus are un-intuitive. Haven't yet worked out how to switch to USB input oth...

We bought one of these approximately 18 months ago as our cat destroyed our previous tv after chasing a gecko where neither of them showed any respect for my property. Anyway, this was what we could afford at the time and it started out fine.

Then we plugged it in and within 24 hours a few pixels had just turned into white spots on the screen and being someone who notices these things it just annoyed the hell out of me but what could I do, I wasn't going to take it back for 2 spots but in hindsight, maybe I should have.

We bought this TV in Aug/2018. After 6 months the screen was not working. When we turned it on we could hear the sound coming but no images. Total waste of money!!!!

Trying to stay positive about my tv, bit disappointed it will not set to a universal remote of any variety tried so far, my remote has been lost, cannot easily obtain another remote. It will not work with Stan tv...a bit disappointing for a smart tv...hmmmmm.

Very clunky..crap software, very difficult to use
Netflix has had to be installed several times as keeps freezing and won't work without removing and resetting.
DTV channels turn black and whole system needs to be factory reset. Happened 3 times in year since got it.
Sound is terrible..full volume and can barely hear speech but sound effects/music super loud
Colours garish

Pros: The image quality is great. Good colour reproduction and contrast, and clean, clear image.

Cons: The "smart" functionality is woefully confusing and does not operate in any logical manner. No way to turn off the barrage of notifications that like to pop up randomly when watching something (except for manually disconnecting the TV from internet). Every couple of hours it flips through a few dozen notifications in Chinese. Where the hell are they coming from and why?
TV can access Play Store but the TV has support for only a handful of app...

My TV yesterday went into recovery mode unsure why this is but need help with this matter. Other than that, this product is the best I have had in a while I highly recommend the viano product to anyone desiring to purchase this item I love it which means you will love it

This is a nice big TV for a good price. I got it for $600 but it's now $420.

The picture is clear and sharp, the sound is tinny but that's expected. I definitely see the difference between Full HD and 4K source. The TV is thin and light.

Obviously not as good as expensive TVs but you can't beat the price.

Downloaded stan and it doesn't work. Have paid to have fetch tv so I can get stan but there is no sound. This tv has no codes for a universal remote. There is nothing good about this. Biggest waste of money. Really angry. Will not recommend this to anyone. Going to report Viano to the consumer affairs as they are falsely advertising the capabilities of this tv.

Wurst Tv I have ever bought. There is ni EPG and no appoint can be downloaded due to absent of APK file. No internet browser work. No appointment can be downloaded. Remote control not working properly. Their old Model 47"was fist class and had good features but compare to old model new one is not at all good

Boight the tv 6 months ago and it has been slow but ok. It takes a while to look things up or for the cursor to get to one side to the other. When in netflix you can not scroll down when viewing or selecting the episodes to watch if there are a big number. Today netflix wont work, unable to connect to youtube so i decided to try spotify. Screen went black and cant get out of the app yet the music is playing. 600$ for six months, its not worth it!

I purchased this tv under the impression I was able to use Stan and netflix. Stan isn't compatible with this brand tv and lucky I had a keyboard I could use for netflix as the control didn't have all the feature buttons. Ive tried watching other apps and stream tv and it also states it's not compatible.

I purchased this TV as needed an upside from an old 32" that my kids broke and they love this TV they can't stop watching there cartoons and touch wood hasn't been touched yet. Would love to purchase a smart TV and possibly larger next time amazing price for a decent TV.
