No Refund....Snared in the Web!
We booked and paid in advance for a Web jet Exclusive 25 Day Highlights of the Middle East Tour including Nile River Cruise and flights departing Sydney 27/3/2020.
Prior to departure Web jet Exclusive cancelled the Tour due to the Coronavirus and asked for our patience in that they were working for the best outcome for their customers.
Subsequently they sent out e Gift Card credits. Due to our age, health and financial situation this was not a viable option for us and have sent several emails requesting a refund but to no avail!

ve has over $14,000 of our funds, refuses to refund, talks about customer service but really makes it difficult to contact them and simply quotes their no refund policy when strictly speaking they cancelled the tour! An e Gift Card credit is useless if you can not use it! We are snared in the "web" of Web jet Exclusive......beware future customers!

18 day trip to Canada and Alaska
in June 2022 I booked a trip for departure date 23 May 2020 to Canadien Rocky and Alaska cruise Booking number BAU2394750 which has been fully paid. As a result I received e-gift voucher valid for 12 months which I didn't purchase.
For me to accept this I need a guaranty that in 12 months I would be able to take that same trip, otherwise, I need a refund. I received email from the Caribbean cruise that the booking is canceled and refound done to Webjet exclusive so why can't you refound back to me.

Great Outcome
I was stressed about my trip 19 days Balkans leaving in July. Webjetandtheinsurance both advised no refunds. Decided to just wait it out.
Yesterday I received Vouchers with a 12mth validity,woohoo.

buyer beware
paid moneys for Scandinavian tour webjet cancelled tour but refuse to give refund although they have had our money since October and gained interestwill only offer voucher for deposit to be used within 12
months .can't get anyone in Australia to talk to since we made the booking although people in Australia till we booked now have to go through phillipines. customer service is a disgrace .
im telling you all don't have anything to do with them.

Pandemic profiteering and pathetic customer service
Booked a China tour through Webjet and expedition exclusives. They won’t refund despite the current climate surrounding China. We are a party of 6 and refuse a credit for next year - We may not even have a job so travel in 2021 is the last thing on our minds right now. They’re counting on people giving in or forgetting these credits as travel opens up and they dont have the compassion to see people will not travel to China in the coming years. Not Happy
We have booked on a 12 day Borneo trip for September with a full deposit paid for 5 travellers. Four of the 5 have since lost jobs with the corona virus pandemic. We have contacted the company requesting a full refund as no flights or accommodation have been organised as yet. But only offered vouchers with another company that do a shorter 8 day trip. We will not be satisfied until our deposit is refunded. The communication has been terrible and emails left unanswered.

we are two 74 year olds who saved hard for a trip to singaope..on singapore airlines...due to covid19..which is tragic..and affected..thousands with holidays..l have on 4different days..not been able to contact webjet...have sent 3 Emails..done chats..to NO AVAIL..Due to Our ages VERY STRESSFUL..our trip is 24--29th April...NO RESPONSE AT ALL...Very Valuable Lesson..NO TO WEBJET...Joan and Barry Bateman.

Last September, my boyfriend and I booked a trip to China through Webjet Exclusives that was due to depart May 6th 2020. Since January 2020 (before the travel ban) we have made countless phone calls, written a load of emails and lodged a complaint to Fairtrade NSW requesting a refund. Each outcome we were told we needed to wait for options that will be given to us “no later than 21 days before departure”. It is clear there is no communication whatsoever between the two companies. We called twice yesterday and once today and they’re still telling us we need to wait until they receive the required information. This constant tennis match between the two companies is so frustrating. We are beyond furious and every one we speak to has the same scripted answer that we “need to wait”, and no one has helped in any way whatsoever. We requested three times to have a manager call us but that has not happened. We understand they are busy during this pandemic but we have been trying to cancel and get a refund since January 30th 2020. I too had booked a 18 day trip to Canada and the Rockies last year in August 2022 to leave early May. I have found the staff very helpful in answering my concerns. I guess being one couple out of many thousands, i knew i had to be patient. they informed me that we were to receive an ecredit for the full amount paid. This credit came through yesterday, and i am truly grateful. I will re book again with them in due course.

Worst company to deal with
Ordered and paid for a trip in August 2022 to china for August 2020. Yes over 12 months in advance.
Now with the COVID-19 issue we are really unsure about going to china,
Contacted Webjet who then palm you off to another company as they are not the provider just the seller of the tour.
Contact them only to be told, No there is nothing you can do, its non refundable.
As of today, NO flights have been booked, NO hotels have been booked, NO tours have been booked, So nothing has been booked,

Hi we had a Webjet exclusives trip booked for 4 April 2020 to Singapore and Thailand
Every thing had gone smoothly ie contact 6 weeks before trip with flight details and then contact prior to our departure saying holiday was a no go due to CV
First email stated they would do their best to retrieve some of our monies . (WJE stated the airlines weren’t coming to the party ) next email says full refund in the way of Webjet e card by 15/4. Guess what ? we got the e card today 15/4 as promised .

Relief in the form of eGift card
After weeks of seeking answers from Webjet Exclusives about the cancellation of our 25 day Highlights of Middle East tour, Webjet Exclusives have finally communicated with us. We have been provided with eGift cards which reimburse us for the full cost of the trip. Thank you, Webjet! However, a lot of angst would have been alleviated if you had contacted us weeks ago just to inform us that you were ‘looking into the problem’. A simple email would have sufficed. The lack of response from your Customer Service team was extremely disappointing and I believe that this is an area of your business that must be improved in order to reestablish your good name.

How can I contact Webjet and get a response
I am in currently in quarantine in Sydney after paying again for earlier flights to get home from London.
I never received any contact from Webjet despite numerous attempts by email and messaging.
Today I am trying to contact Webjet by phone as I need to know about my flight on18th April from Sydney to Canberra, I would like to know if I can still get this flight back to Canberra at the end of isolation.
Been waiting on the phone for one hour now.

Webjet Exclusives is worst travel company ever
Booked the 25 day highlights of Middle East tour (covering Egypt, Jordan and Israel) about 12 months ago, trip leaving Sydney 10 April. Paid in full $14,000 in Dec 2022.
Called them in February when it became apparent that the Covid19 situation was too risky to travel at this time, asked to reschedule for "later in 2020", was told no changes of dates were possible, and trip is not refundable. Called them again a week later with an offer to purchase a new holiday for say travel in 2021, if they would allow us to reschedule the Middle East trip.

Poor communication/ nil care factor
We booked our tour back dec 2022 for travel 20 March 2020 tried calling company when our flights were rescheduled from Singapore Airlines end, needed to speak to our tour organiser as our flights didn’t match with connecting flights final after 10 days got that all sorted.
Then 2 days before we were to depart got email stating our tour had now been canceled due to Covid situation, that’s all good we already new from smart traveler that we could not travel before webjet exclusive decided to cancel.

I too phoned Webjet Exclusives when learning of Israel closing its borders to find 2 different consultants on different days both unaware of situation which amazed me this wasn't flagged. rgotten & left in the dark. I emailed them on the 17th and waiting for a reply. I appreciate travel companies and agents being very busy trying to sort out solutions but also note many have communicated quickly and timely giving customers definite options & refunds. Having paid $14000 for this tour it would be extremely reassuring to know if we will be offered a full refund or a 'peace of mind' reschedule date for a later tour such as Tripadeal has offered their customers. To be viable in the future Webjet Exclusives need to demonstrate they look after their customers, are compassionate, communicate clearly and timely our options in these unprecedented circumstances. I would even be grateful to know an approximate time when to expect this information. Webjet Exclusives finally come good
We booked a 25 day trip to Egypt, Jordan and Israel leaving on the 26 March, 2020 which was eventually cancelled due to CV. Initially it was hard to get any commitment from them regarding refunds, etc but in the end, Webjet Exclusives offered a full credit gift voucher and I am more than happy with the result. Thank you Webjet!

Is Webjet still in business? They have more than $6000 of our money for a corona virus holiday to Sri Lanka that had been due to leave 20 April BAU 2479825 Paul Doyle.
They just have a generic auto reply which is of no help . Other companies such as Trip a Deal have long ago refund people's tours.
I know that it's a difficult time for companies. But you can't take money, not provide a service and ignore costumers.
I would be reluctant to use Webjet after the virus if they are still in business.

Yes they are! I emailed them and they responded. Keep in mind they are dealing with thousands of people. We have already received our credit.i booked August last year. good luck in your request.
