An electrical storm fried my nbn modem. No problem I thought I’ll just contact Belong, explain what happened and they’ll organise a new one to be sent. The whole process should have taken a few minutes, but Belong have decided that life isn’t meant to be that easy.
If you want a truly 3rd world customer experience then Belong is the company for you. Jeez, they even make Optus look good.
Aussie broadband set me with a new account and arranged a new nbn modem in less than 1/10 of the time I wasted trying to convince Belong that smoke isn’t meant to come out of an NBN router.
I’m sorry Belong it’s over, it’s not you, it’s me. I just want someone that understands me and cares where I spend my money.
Just had the connection for a month. It cuts out without any notice or warning. Once I was in the middle of an essay for Uni. They don’t even have an emergency contact. Just an email. When I had the first problem they contacted me 2 days later!!!
Now the line is isolated again, it’s weekend. No internet, no Netflix.
I curse the day I decided for Belong.
Changing provider tomorrow!!!

I just connected to Belong on a premium 100/40 plan. The setup was simple, just plugged everything in and it worked. Probably helps I have a background in IT, but I couldn't see anything that would be hard for a user without an IT background.
The service has been stable for a week with no drop outs, I get the speeds 100mb download and 20mb uploads verified on speedtest by Ookla.
I cannot fault the service so far - 4 stars.

Good service really out does, Optus who I was with for 15 years. Glad I switched. Very strong signal in winmalee
Tell people go with belong. Great service great value for money. Leaves Optus for dead

When I chose Belong NBN, it was among the cheapest in the market. But there are reasons for that. If you lost connection to internet, you won't be able to fix it yourself with their Q&A. And you don't have a phone number to call nor live chat support. They just let you drop them a message and wait for their call at their convenience. I waited 2 days for them to call me and I still couldn't get my internet back. I just give up and switch to other provider with 4G backup. If you work at home and require internet connection, think twice before choosing them.

Good until you run into a issue.
Impossible to get a hold of.
My father went to change his monthly direct debit card information and we couldn’t find how to do this. We had 3 other separate people to help us. We couldn’t see the option. Tried sending messages for them to call us, tried calling them. No one from belong can help.We just wanted to pay our bill.

Extremely poor customer service and no apparent care whether they deliver a quality product or not
No customer service call centre. Customer service is initiated via a chat bot, that asks you to clarify type of issue and then puts you through to a pay wall prior to proceeding with putting you in touch with a technician. If you use the alternative free route for help, they send clarifying questions and then if they cannot answer, will ring you once...and you had better hope you were able to answer that call, because after that, their call back request service never responded despite 10+ requests so far. Every time a message saying I was placed to the top of the queue was received, but got nothing. I have lost 3 days work due to this poor intermittent service.
Belong used to be a great service, but now it has turned to complete rubbish.

I shifted my my home to a different unit in same building. Belong were struggling to get it activated. They said they had asked NBN to check it was already 2 weeks of NO INTERNET when I decided that Belong is the one which is incompetent here.
I moved to Aussie Broadband and they activated my internet within 48 hours without any hassle. I used same belong's modem.
Hence my analysis was correct, it was Belong the whole time which was incompetent.

Internet down due to flooding in Northern NSW, I have emailed customer service about the outage, they say that they will contact myself, yes I have received an email back, given the way the email was worded, it obviously wasn’t an Australian person that wrote it…
My point, they don’t understand what I am talking about,
Belong…. How about you provide a contact Ph number so we can talk to an Australian person, no I’m not racist, but so over talking to foreign people who do not understand Australian people…
My internet cut out for know reason, I have tried contacting Belong through email and Facebook and have not heard anything back from them to help with this problem yet

I’ve been with Belong for 6 years - even using them when I moved interstate from VIC to NSW.
My internet stopped working one day and when I tried to call the usual number I got a pre-recorded message telling me they deal with everything online.
Truly SH*T customer service - what a way to stick it to loyal customers.
Will be moving to an internet provider that actually cares about customers and wants to communicate with them!

A day later and still no response. I also tried reaching out on FB messenger but no response either.
As a customer of 6 years - I can confirm that customer service has gotten A LOT worse.
The internet is much faster. The shows on tv catch up and on Netflix are much stronger using Belong inet. I can also hear better on phone calls . The words are clear and no static or breaking up of words.

You can’t get in touch with them as their is no contact phone number .
I’m moving house and sent emails but no response as I need to cancel the internet and I’m still being charged and I don’t know what else to do .

Have been with Belong for just over a year and have only had one issue, which was resolved within 24hrs. I read all the negatives here and believe if you want to use Belong you need to be a little tech savy which goes along way for understanding what the carrier is going through (might not be their fault). If you want to pay more for human contact then you need to do so. I have my NBN and both phones with them :)

Connection generally good. However no connection at Glendambo Sth Aust. This leaves no connection between Pimba and Coober Pedy!!! In 2022 this is not acceptable, considering there is an existing Telstra service .

Poor complaint handling and overall negative experience to deal with. When the service works, speeds are actually great, but as soon as there is a problem it all goes downhill due to non existent service.

It’s been 5-6 days now/ almost a week that we haven’t gotten Wifi at my resident.
It’s super hard, to get in contact with anyone, that works with Belong! Even the “Belong App” is in complete shut down mode, all my Invoice/receipts are on the Belong App, but it does not work!
I’m at this point, where I just want to “Cancel my Internet service” but I don’t know how to get in contact with anyone, that will help me.

They don't reply in the 2 hours they promise. Sent a 2nd message then they responded saying they are not allowed to contact customers!!! But here are the steps to follow and if I still have issues I must give them a time the following day to contact me. No surprise that time has come and gone. Absolutely no communication. Cancelled my service with them.

As far as NBN service goes it's fine, but if there is an issue they are impossible to contact. There is no listed number, so you have to message them and they will call back. They claim to call back within 2 hours, for me, it took them 27 hours to respond. Up to that point I had no issue with them, but this was unacceptable service.

No Belong Internet at my house for last 18 hours.Only way to reach to Belong is via sending a message on their website which they say they respond within 2 hours.Yet to hear from them after 18 hours.I am their customer for last 5+ years but you only get to know of customer service if you get a problem which is pretty bad for Belong.

Been a Belong (part Telstra) customer for some years. Of late the drop outs have increased considerable from a minute or two, seconds some times, to hours at times. Our security cameras rely on WIFI and without it they are useless. A vehicle recently stolen from our car park, no camera scenes available so obviously WIFI off at the time of the mongrels taking the car, (9.38pm last picture, 6.05am next picture), the people who lost the car.. Received the usual "sorry about that" after a complaint was made. Bloody hopeless but are any of the others any better?? NBN???
