Continued to bill me but fail to have the service up and running.
Hi
I had no internet connections for the last 5 weeks. I have lodge more than 10 requests via your web form but I am ye to get any call back or any response from you. I have also contacted NBN and explained the problem, they help me to troubleshoot and diagnosed the issue and told to contact you and let you know that you need to get in touch with them to requests service restoration because the optic or fiber is diconnected from main box..
I am completely dispointed that you did not provide the service but still managed to debt my account the monthly fees.

Internet outage
I have an internet outage at my place since yesterday and there is no way to contact Belong customer service. The help topics and bot response is so generic and are not helpful at all. Phone connection is off and submitting an online request is hidden. I understand Belong's new mantra seems to be suffer in silence.

Absolutely shocking service from Belong
I am absolutely livid. I live in Perth and have had no internet service since Saturday night. I am not able to contact Support at Belong as the message says that their call centre is not operating during the Covid lockdown. What am I supposed to do? I am also working from home during this Covid lockdown and so are two other people in my home, but now we do not have internet and I cannot contact anyone to assist. I am completely at a loss.

My dissatisfaction is simple, their customer support during the Covid-19 crisis is the worst I have ever experienced. I can almost understand the rationale of removing phone support but to have no form of live internet chat in 2020 is inexcusable.
Let me give you a practical example. I live in the Coffs Harbour region, that's more than 600 kilometres from Sydney. lk home! I switched from Belong to TPG in the hope that my constant dropout would cease. On the first day of my new TPG service, I suffered a prolonged internet dropout. I called the TPG support line and they determined my dropout were caused by a fault in the line between my home and the node. That same day they organised for an NBN technician to come out to my home to repair the fault, this took place two days later. The NBN technician found and fixed the fault within 30 minutes, I have not suffered from a single dropout since. I had been a customer of Belong since October 2022 and I have called about the constant dropouts more than once. In all that time the fault was never diagnosed as being with the phone line. TPG diagnosed and repaired the fault within the first 3 days of being a customer. I honestly cannot find one single redeeming feature of Belong, not even the price since TPG are exactly the same price. I think it's time they take my feedback (and that of THOUSANDS of dissatisfied customers) seriously.2 comments

int of me making contact (via email of course since that's the only option) to get a customer support person to help me with my problem. Even then, my problem wasn't properly diagnosed and rectified (TPG diagnosed the fault being with the phone line and it was fixed by an NBN technician 2 days later). I'm sorry to hear you that it's "disappointing to hear we've not lived up to our own standards". It's obvious from my own experience that your standards are far lower than every other ISP in the country. Belong is a telecommunications company, communication should be at the very top of your service priorities. ASAP should be with the day contact, no within 2 weeks.Similar opinion? Belong won’t cancel internet at my property.
Absolutely appalling customer service, rude and not helpful at all. Definitely do not recommend. They won’t cancel the line which was put on with a different tenant and now I’m unable to get internet on to homeschool my children, not happy!

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!! Worst Support ever!!!!!!!!!!!
This ISP changed my connection to CGNAT in February 2020 without consulting me.
As a result I only maintain a secure connection for approximately 2 seconds then get booted from the online service I access to manage my home based business, as a result I have to use a Telstra Phone and tether to continue trading.
Belong have not addressed my problem.
Their tech support do not know what they are doing.
This problem has persisted for three months and I have exhausted all my points of contact including their formal complaints email address within their organisation.

ice an apologetic but did not understand the principles of ISP authentication through my connection. I spoke with your opposition last week, placed an order on Thursday their router has arrived, I have plugged it in and I am connected via their service to the NBN without CGNAT and now able to run my business without having to rely on my mobile hot spot - too little too late from Belong, you guys used to decent back in 2016 so sad to see that it has deteriorated so far.Similar opinion? Not happy
Signed up to belong about 3 months ago I was told they would deal with all the disconnection/connection but didn't. I've ended up with a bill for $198.00 from my past provider because someone didn't do their job as promised. I contacted belong to get a copy of the disconnection order but still waiting.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH: Do not sign up with this company
Signed up to belong ADSL plan, got the modem sent out. Waited for the activation text which never came. I tried to log on to our account to cancel our month to month plan and it still continued to charge us for two months and still is currently not officially cancelled. There is no one to talk to due to covid-19. You have to write an email which I have written many to which I have received no reply!!! I’ve tried contacting my bank to block them from taking more money but they tell me I need to call Telstra. So I’ve now signed up to a new intern...Read more

I’ve paid for two months worth of unlimited internet that I haven’t been able to access and have spent even more ($150 a week some times) on the pocket wifi just to be able to stream Netflix and Stan on my tv. Disgusting Customer "service" and dishonest company.
Signed up for an NBN plan, they 'gave' me a sim card with $80 on it. Their representatives said this sim would not cost us anything. Now I see they attached a mobile subscription to my account and have been charging me for this sim card and data for it. When I queried this and asked them to cancel the subscription and refund me, as I had never signed up for it, they have refused.
Absolutely dishonest company. Stay away.

Very poor Standard Company
This is the worst company I have dealt with. They take your order for broadband and then its just wait. no feedback on why delays, We have been waiting now for one month with their standard email sorry we will text you when order sent BUT no date when . Is it going to be 2 months, 3 months. (absolutely no call centre at all even though the majority now have some contact through home operators,after all they are a telecommunications company,surely a few workers can take calls from home or is everyone still out on the government paid $750 week to do nothing.

Bad customer service ever
No tech support, no way for direct communication & no response to our complaints. the company seems disappear after forcing clients to contract 12 months that will auto renew to another 12 months via just an email informing so. Also hard to stop contract... Never use again this terrible internet service!

Using covid 19 for non existent customer support, very embarrassing an damaging to belong,
For a company that provides an internet service I find it incomprehensible that there staff can’t work remotely ( maybe there using there own service) 3 days before any notion of contact to resolve a problem, or via call, covid 19 of course, how can other providers manage. Bad bad an bad, had no problems for 12 months but had no need to contact, its a shame. Just spoke too shriad he was very good although this is 3 days after an email, now it’s another possible 3 days for a technician. Think that’s me an belong done, word of mouth won’t do them any good either !

WORST ISP - Belong are not happy until you're not happy!
Belong cancelled my ADSL service without warning on the evening of March 9th.
After troubleshooting the issues for a day and a half over chat and phone, I was told that it had been disconnected because I was to move to NBN. There was no warning this would happen, and no communication to say that I should move to NBN.
Frustrated because I work from home, I asked if the ADSL service could be resumed while the NBN install is processed, but was told this is not possible.

at in 21 days nothing was done, not a single thing, no progress whatsoever, it is very hard to believe that belong have a policy of being open, honest or clear with customers. An Absolute Nightmare
Been with BELONG for 2.5 years now. My internet connection had dropped in and out for a few weeks. This week its just completely died so I contacted BELONG and there’s been zero responses. I had to go elsewhere to purchase a data sim card just to use as a internet connection for my home. I’ve contacted BELONG to cancel my service but no response, they’ve closed their call centres so can’t even be contacted, facebooks automated messages claiming that they are not working due to C19. This is an absolute nightmare to deal with, I am getting charged for a service that doesnt work, has zero customer, can’t terminate from and I can no longer work from home due to this. Are they still even a legitimate business? Surely this isn’t right!

Shocking at communication! No responses
My account has been suspended due to expired cc. This has been updated but still no service. Contacting them is impossible as help support on website or app doesn’t work - ‘there was an error processing your request’. it is ridiculous that there is no number to contact support directly! really angry with their service. Avoid at all costs!

Starting of this covid19, my friend went to another house so she transfer the internet bill at my name. But I didn’t access to my account, one person called me and she said she would follow up for my account detail. But she never did, I tried hundred time to call their CS and email them more than 10 times but I didn’t get reply back. Now they said my account is canceled. Unable to contact Belong
I tried to contact Belong about joining their nbn however I had a couple of questions one being are there any delays in getting my internet connected and are there any delays in the supply of a modem due to Covid 19. I couldnt get through on the phone so I sent a brief note on their HELP page. I received an instant automated reply see below seriously if that many customers are having issues I dont want to become one of their stats.

are getting the same automated response. I did try a couple of other providers by telephone and to my surprise there was a very quick response I was talking to a person at the other end of the phone. This is the worst internet company ever. We pay an extremely higher price for the modem and this kinda lock us into the company. But every month that I have to pay my plan I fell angry. Angry because this internet simply doesn't work!!! I’ve been paying 70$ monthly to use my mobile data at home! This is ridiculous! Now that I finally found a excellent internet company provider... Im not able to cancel!! No email, no online chat, no mobile number.. What is this? It’s a scam company that only takes your money and don’t give you nothing in exchange? Even respect?!?!
Already sent the email via the website and, reading all the comments in here, Facebook and other places, I know that I won’t receive an answer soon.

Never ever buy this, I repeat never buy this internet.
I bought 40mbps unlimited internet NBN plan. It worked fine for a month and half and after that true Color came out with just 4-5 mbps. Can’t even load a movie. Had to turn on my personal data to post this review.

Poor effort!
It’s really frustrating to not be able to contact anyone!
I had my account or service reactivated yesterday, I still have no connection and belong says it’s active, when i go through support, I don’t get the help I need, infact more generated responses.
Now I’m just not getting any reply!
I have no internet! Paid 130$ to have no service at all!
I have had multiple problems with belong since I went with them and I’m afraid to say I will changing providers as-well as raising an enquiry with the onbudsman
It’s funny how nearly every other provider is still there for their customers throughout this time!

Why belong has such a terrible service?
I called to Belong at 16:45 on 1 June 2020. The customer representative didn't saw say his name (Indian accent). The guy said what they can offer and was in rush to get my banks details. He met all questions very irritable. I asked the type of the modem they sell for $79 and my question was met very frustrated the guy asked me: "why is it matter?"... The last my question was: "can you sent the contract to my email?" And the belong representative hang up....
That is my initial experience with belong. Should you bother to deal with such service? It's up to you.

My nbn technician was meant to come between 8am and 12pm today and they never came. I have been sitting at home with the front door open and I even have a massive note on my garage door saying where to enter the house. What is going on

Sometimes the technicians don't need to come into the house and can get everything done outside. Other times, they may have to cancel the appointment and let us know, so we can pass that on to you.
