Did anyone know the quality of Brosa furniture compared to Nick Scali?

I think Brosa furniture is excellent quality and value for money. Go to Brosa Studio in Collingwood to check for yourself. As for Nick Scali the furniture is not to my taste and stylewise is different. Scali has a lot of leather so if thats your style go there. I couldn't be happier with Brosa quality I looked extensively and found nothing of quality or value to compare. Hope this helps

Sorry we purchased an outdoor table so no help on the comfort factor. Delivery time was quick for distribution to the delivery company and a few days to be sent from them. Well within 10 days.

I would say that Brosa have no integrity whats so ever and you are likely to wait MONTHs for your furniture. I placed an order for 4 barstools in October 2016 and without any feedback whatsoever from Brosa, when I try to track my order i now see I will not get my delivery until March 2017. this was for in stock items which at the time of order I was urged to order quickly because there were just a few pieces left! absolutely disgusting Customer service!

Can anyone tell me how comfortable and sturdy the Espen dining chairs are (who doesn't work for Brosa)? 4-5 months is a long time to wait for dining chair and i'd want to be sure it was worth it!!

I live on the Atherton Tablelands and bought 6 Espen dining chairs in Oct 16. They were deliverd within 2 months not 4-5, so I had them before christmas. Not only do they look awesome (I got turquoise ones), they are comfortable as well. They came well packaged but I did have to screw the legs on myself. I have them on my pinterest page if you are interested in seeing them. They are really nice, I dont think you will be disappointed. We tried alot of furniture from different stores before I bought these from Brosa and the Espen chairs are really great quality. I was really apprehensive at first about buying online but I havent been disappointed yet and this is my second purchase from Brosa. I dont think you will be disappointed.

Hi Emily. I was also apprehensive about purchasing on line. We sat on these chairs for about 6 hours straight New Year's Eve. They are extremely comfortable Everyone who sees them is amazed how great they look. Hope this helps.

If you've placed an order: cancel it.

As a relatively young Australian company, I really (really) wanted to give Brosa a chance. But the experience indicates either incompetence or dishonesty: neither make for a good business philosophy. Needless to say, I'm about to cancel.

I ordered an item on 26 June 2016 with a 12-15 week lead time. It's now been delayed 4 times (now lead time is 6months+.)

The first delay added a couple of weeks. I received an email with precisely the same text you have been given.

The second delay was applied one week after the first adding another couple of weeks. No notification received

The third delay was applied a few weeks later, adding another 2 more months. This one was discovered only when I checked the order status myself (I need to make travel plans to be there when the item is delivered)

So I contacted them myself. The customer service representative was lovely. She was apologetic and indicated that a 10% discount would be applied for the inconvenience. She also committed to sending a follow-up email. Nothing received.

Today, a fourth delay is noted. No email notification.

BROSA continue to advertise the product under original terms.

I'm just glad I'd decided to "test" their products & service with a single item: there were several, more substantial purchases I was hoping to make with them.

I'd rather pay another company twice as much for a more reliable experience.

guys, interested to know whether / how you ensure your materials and labour are ethically sourced? I'm not opposed to buying imported furniture, but I'm not keen on buying things that are cheap because local workers and their natural resources are getting ripped off.

30% of your reviews are listing either false dispatch notices (and money taken in advance of dispatch), or ultra slow / incomplete deliveries that can take months to complete. Is there someway of telling if the bed set I want is currently in stock, and guaranteed ready to go? Your stuff looks great, and while the number of positive reviews is reassuring ... really ... the sheer number of bad reviews is alarming. I'd like to support a Aussie start up, but really can't afford to subsidise one at the moment.

They tell you after you order and pay that it takes 14-16 weeks. below is the exact email I got after I asked how long my order would take a month after I ordered and had not received a delivery date. I nearly fell of may chair.

Half my order turned up 18weeks after delivery and im still waiting for the balance last update it may turn up in November some 10 months after I ordered.

how can I be certain that the lounge seat is comfortable, the right depth and seat height when I can't try it out? I love the styles you have but it's a big risk especially as I live quite a distance away.

The only thing I could suggest is measure another chair that is comfortable for you and see how it compares. If you don't have any similar chairs, maybe even go to a furniture shop.

I am also looking for a customer who bought a Chesterfield sofa in velvet, any of the two models available, is this cheaply made? or does it look and feel strong/sturdy like some European brands? Brosa def does not sound Chinese.. i wouldn't want to pay for something kinda fake cheap that only looks pretty.

They are Australian company but they only import most likely from China nothing gets made hear. That's why when something goes missing it takes forever as they are always waiting for the next shipment. You are not buying Aussie made from Brosa only import stuff

Hi,
I'm considering ordering some furniture from your website but am concerned with the negatve reviews regarding customer service and delivery. This is also reflected by the fact that you immediately respond to good reviews but rarely to bad reviews - am aware that it is easy to fake good reviews by getting your friends to order products which allows them to add a review but for them to then return the products or cancel the order within the return period. How can you allay my fears?

We bought the same item Doug found "dangerous" and I can see why it poses a risk, although it has not been proven for us...yet.

I too feel the positive comments a little too good to be true after the negative ones.

Brosa's delivery took a while, even though when it was purchased, it mentioned it was ready to leave the warehouse in 2-3 days.

Also, I was sure we were buying non-chinese crap but the box it came in said PRC and any reference it had for the product either being made or even just designed in Italy or Germany on the website, we must have imagined, as it is nowhere to be found now.

Suspicions. Negative feedback deserves Brosa replies as much as the positive.

Beware of this company - we’ve just purchased a sofa for over $1000 and the back is broken and split after a few weeks of light use with splinters poking out of the back of the sofa. After a week’s worth of trying to get a response on getting a refund we’ve been offered a $150 refund.

I am able bodied and the delivery driver was too, we are also in a ground floor property which made it easier. If you have stairs or are unable to lift and carry I would suggest organising friends or professional assistance.

We took delivery of a queen size bed head which was a large package. The most courteous delivery driver assisted me in carrying it inside and even offered to assist in removing the packaging.

Hi Wayne, I have recently purchased (well, paid for but won't receive until March) eight of the Grace dining chairs. I was not aware of this wait time period when I bought the chairs but am happy to wait as long as this time frame is not extended and am happy with the product when delivered. Yes I ordered a king size bed. Wasn't available ! Ended up with one they had in stock. Paid a heap more for it. The delivery guy basically dumped the cartons in the lift. and left me with it {I'M 70 years old} Had to pull some of the cartons back out as they really didn't fit. Had to get my disabled sister to help me get the huge cartons down the apartment hallway and into the flat. Spent hours trying to put it together, It really didn't fit, like some cheap Chinese toy with nonsensical instructions. Went back to the footpath to find some of the screws that fell out of the carton. The frame catches on the bed if you raise the storage facility under it. Pathetic quality. But does look nice. Hope it lasts, especially for the price we paid
