Domayne Alexandria v arrogant salesperson
NSW, Alexandria[name removed] the salesperson gave very poor customer service, was very arrogant wouldn't give us the best price domayne can offer for the items we were interested in unless we committed to buying that day then implied us and other builders of wasting their time and using the domayne display, guess what we are taking our business elsewhere, I can't believe this is the way customers are treated these days. No Customer Service-Beware
NSW, AlexandriaPurchased Villaroy and Boch Sentique toilet suite in January 2012 which has a ten year warranty. Soft close function failed so I contacted Domayne through their customer service to claim warranty. I was directed to an employee at Alexandria who told me that the warranty had expired and I even got an email to tell me that my case was completed. I gave him a website to show the warranty details for ten years. He said it only applied in England and the matter was unresolved again. They even had the hide to send me a customer satisfaction survey. Last year Domayne Taren Point let me down severely. Briefly, I purchased a Sealy king size bed from Domayne Caringbah in January 2016. Had trouble with delivery men when they damaged one single base and the king mattress during installation because they were upset they were not told about removing the old bed. After prolonged consultation with Domayne, they replaced the base and mattress. However the Sealy mattress has very poor quality and has major faults including a ridge which has formed down the middle of the mattress. After 12 weeks waiting, the beds was delivered to my house and base was not reassemble and can not be taken to upstairs, when we went back Domayne at Auburn, they told us they never been told by us about preliminary condition, and pointed up the assembled bed which just next to the bed i bought. NSW, Castle HillWe were in the market for a new bedroom suite.....everything, mattress, base drawers bed head. This was discussed several times, that we were replacing the furniture in a whole room. Unable to find drawers we liked, we eventually chose a mattress, asked about matching bases, which we eventually chose, and then chose a bed head.
Delivery went to plan, delivery guys were polite and did their job well, but when it came for us to put it together, there was no way to attach the bedhead to the bed.
This is where the Domayne dropped the ball. I call

NSW, LiverpoolIt was supposed to be a good experience with Domayne Liverpool, NSW but after a month I received a letter saying I owed them money which I paid straight to their courier driver in cash. Fortunately I have kept the receipt in good condition since then because I noticed there was something irregular -- duplicate copy was not made and no time to discuss that issue. I made contact to both the Liverpool and headquarter and the problem appears to be solved at the moment. Who knows what I am going to receive in the future. Again, it was a five star experience but ruined. You must be careful these day when dealing with big merchandiser.

Outrageous customer service
NSW, AlexandriaVery disappointing experience, I was pressured into leaving a deposit for a number of bathroom items including a $5,000 bath, I told them I needed to check the technical specs of the bath before they ordered the product in. Once my plumber checked a few days later, it was obvious the bath would not be suitable. This is not the first bathroom i have renovated and won't be the last but I will NEVER use Domayne bathrooms again and recommend everyone try other places first and make sure you can cancel orders without penalties. As soon as I made the full payment, the sales lady said it doesn't look like it's in stock and said she would find out and call me the next day. After a few days later I had to chase it up myself. Had to wait 6 weeks and once it was delivered I discovered there was damage on 1 of the legs. The customer service person I had to deal with in the service department was rude. Would never purchase anything from there again.

NSW, PenrithHorrible Horrible customer service from Penrith Domayne Bedroom furniture staff. 1st person wanted to charge extra for the fabric, 2nd staff member said it was all inclusive. Following week we went back to buy the bed and the service guy supposedly gave us the incorrect price for the blanket box and said the advertised $1599 Which was by the bed was a typo.
Dishonest by bunch of people and took our money and got the deal we were happy with at Castle Hill Domayne.
Will never go back there again!

Our Panasonic washing machine broke after one year and Domayne quickly gave me the repairers number and emailed me receipt/proof of purchase.
To be honest this shop is doing what retailers should.. participating in price negotiation, efficiently processing transactions and quickly supporting product issues. However I've had that many issues with these essential requirements at other places I'll recommend Domayne Kotara and return there first as I'm busy, I generally know what I want and what price is reasonable for a cash hassle free sale.

However old mate talked her into the product care plan as he said just bring it back if there are any issues and we will fix it up straight away. Now there is a fault with the laptop we need to send it away for assessment which can take 14 business days and then they will replace it. This isn't a tv that we can live without this is a core tool for her business. Why didn't they tell us that up front?? Now we will need to buy a new laptop to keep working until this gets repaired. NSW, Castle HillBought a coral centrepiece that had a glass base. It fell apart in the first week I had it. It wasn't glued properly. I called up customer service and they advise they couldn't help me and to put my complaint in writing. So I did... they never replied. To this day I still haven't heard from them.
I went back into the store to voice my complaint there and they supplied me with another coral centrepiece.... and guess what.. same thing happened. Surprise, surprise. Dodgy products, made cheap.

Well, all the furniture that we ordered mid 2016 arrived in December and because our build was behind schedule we have only just unwrapped everything and we are extremely happy. November 29th 2017 Update: Absolutely fantastic service I took my sister in law ( who has a physical disability) into Domayne Castle Hill to purchase a new mattress and base yesterday. I have bought bedding previously from Angie in bedding and prior to going there I made sure she was there. The individual attention we received from Angie was exemplary, she was so patient while we tried different beds and mattresses. We were probably there for over an hour, yet Angie showed no frustration or any indication of impatience! We purchased a bed base, a mattress, protector, pillows and pillow protectors. I will update how the delivery etc goes in February 2018. Angie deserves a bonus!!!! December 5th 2017 Update: Excellent Customer Service Bought a bed and base from Angie at Castle Hill. I went in with the intention of purchasing a MacBook Pro interest free, however the Salesman conned me into a "Flexi" deal which included insurance, ext/int damaged for the 12 month contract period. 3 hours later after signing the contract I realised the agreement I signed was "flexirent" and I was only renting the goods. The salesman was being intentionally deceptive to sign me up for a deal he knew I wasn't after. He didn't use the t

This "flexirent" company they use to finance should be outlawed due to the outrageously high interest rates and unjust end of term options. After 2 phone calls I had to fight my case in order get the contract overturned less that 24 hours before it was signed. Fortunately the Manager was reasonable and I was able to pay for the laptop outright with no extra hidden costs. Within minutes we called Domayne Alexandria to advise. The furniture customer service contact asked us to take photos and send to them. Did this, but apparently our photos were not to be trusted so the supplier had to inspect the setting otherwise Domayne couldn't do anything (very surprising to me that the supplier had to view not Domayne). Supplier came out and noticed straight away from a distance there was a problem (besides chips and scratches the aluminum chairs had very crooked legs). He advised it was probably the delivery peoples fault. However, he only reported on the problems that could be blamed on transport/handling damage - not manufacturer fault. So the table that had sort of dents (that's what I would call - looks more like a manufacturing fault as it was on the extension leaf of the table that could not have been dented in transport) was reported to be fine. Again Domayne did not take my word and said the supplier said it was fine (except for the missing bolt! - yes, there was also a missing bolt when he opened up the package to put the table together). I am shocked that firstly they did not accept our photos as evidence and secondly that no Domayne rep came out to see for themselves the problem but sent a third party. Having had enough I had asked for a refund only to be told they only had to offer a replacement and there would be no refund. I have called Domayne Head Office and am awaiting their call back to see what can be done. Beware buying expensive furniture items from Domayne Alexandria unless you can view the actual pieces you will be receiving and perhaps organising your own transport. Will keep you posted as to what head office do (if they return my call).Terrible service and terrible product

The weight thingies at the bottom of the blinds are not sewn in they have to be individually adjusted and pushed in every time the blinds are opened or closed. Very annoying and won't let you forget how ripped off you were for the life of the blinds.

It was a very pleasant experience, and the Floor Manager could not have been more helpful, even allowing me to take fabric samples home overnight. The couches came promptly, as promised, 5 weeks later.
However the cushions were not the design I had ordered, and when I phoned I was reassured by the young Floor Manager (name known, but I won't disclose it here) that he would attend to the error right away.

Lounge was delivered Saturday, beautifully made but OMG was so uncomfortable and husband and I just hated sitting on it, we just couldn't get comfortable and ended up with bad back pain. NSW, BelrosePurchased a 2.5 seat leather couch from Domayne Belrose which was delivered April 2015.
Within 8 months the couch started to peel which was odd considering genuine leather is not supposed to peel.
According to Choice.com, this is due to the fact that there is no regulation in Australia as there is in the UK for what constitutes genuine leather so be very careful when purchasing.
We regularly cleaned and maintained it, when the supplier came to inspect they said it was due to perspiration and rejected our warranty claim. When we informed domayne that perspiration does not make genuine leather peel they took no action and were extremely difficult to get a hold of and dismissive when we did.

NSW, AlexandriaPurchased a mattress and frame fron Domayne in November 2015. We were told we would have to wait until late January 2016 for delivery which we agreed to.
Neither product arrived to us until late February and when they did the frame was chipped at the head board and some industrial type glue had been spilled and left to dry on one of the sides of the frame.
The customer service rep from Domayne was very polite and apologetic. He kindly ordered us replacement parts for the damaged parts of our bedframe.
The new parts arrived today and they have sent us the wrong size head board!
Have contacted Domayne again today.
Will hopefully have the bed frame we paid for in 2015 before 2016 is through!!!

I organised for a friend to be at the house through the day on the Wednesday to receive the bed, and before I left for work on the day, I dismantled my existing bed and cleared the bedroom. By the afternoon, when no one had yet arrived, and I hadn’t heard from the delivery person, I rang Domayne to find out when it might be arriving only to find out I had been taken off the delivery run, because

NSW, PenrithI advice everyone not to buy from Domayne furniture especially from the bedding section. They treat customers very bad and have no respect at all especially from the manager [name removed]. I bought a mattress from them and they delivered the mattress at 6:30 am, they threw my mattress outside and the mattress costed me $3800. I then called the shop and spoke to the manager [name removed] she hung up the phone on my face and then I called 4 times but kept on ignoring me. Just be careful when you buy from these guys and especially don't deal with [name removed] she is rude, disrespectful and a liar.
