Our Hamptons library units are perfect!
We found what we were looking as soon as we walked in and fell in love with it immediately. There were several other pieces in the store we would love to acquire. The Hamptons library units are of superior quality and look perfect in our heritage home. The staff in store Mei and Ruty were very Friendly and accomodating and even rang the owner to see if we could negotiate the purchase on our behalf.

Amazing mirror and friendly service
My dad and I went to Eureka a month ago and I soon fell in love with the shop. I purchased a beautiful silver mirror. Gayle helped us and was fantastic and really friendly. I have since brought 2 friends back to purchase the same mirror.

My wife and I purchased some really beautiful furniture from the MacGregor QLD store in July 2022, we where very happy at the time of our purchase, and looked forward to the arrival of the furniture for our new home. We have received over a few months most of our furniture, but are still waiting for our king size bed frame. Which apparently will show up in January 2020 awesome not.

Not recommended at all. Please read and then judge whether it is right to risk and purchase any item, even if it is very well priced! (Sorry, it is a long story but hopefully will give you a good insight about these people).

has always practiced and is clearly labelled in our terms and conditions. On the date of your purchase you entered into a contract, just as if you fixed your home loan at a specific rate or purchased a new car. We certainly would not ask you to pay more if the price had gone up. We did however offer you a store credit of the difference on this occasion which was an act of good will from Eureka Street and not by any means an obligation of the company. It is a shame that you feel the need to slander the company, the CEO and the Eureka Street staff because you were not given further discount, after purchasing. I love my lounge
Purchased a new lounge from Eureka Street and absolutely loved it. Staff at Macgregor store were great. I have the Liberty lounge and it is so comfy and durable for the grandkids. We will be back

Extremely bad customer service.
We purchased a Cannes dining table and Cannes chairs back in February from the McGregor Store. We paid cash and was told at the time it was on its' way from China and delivery would be 6 weeks. We were even given a date in March. One week before due date we were told it was ready for pick up, so we excitedly went to their collection site to pick up. long story short, after many, many phone calls to the store and head office, we finally received our dining room suite 6 MONTHS after purchase. They never rang us, we always had to ring to find out what was going on and were constantly told it was on its' way, then they had problems with the manufacturer etc. etc. Seriously, they will tell you any story to try and put you off. The most we got out of them, was "free" delivery after we had already been over to pick it up once. When it arrived, it was dirty and I had to clean it before use. We had purchased with Eureka St many years ago and they were fantastic, this is not the case now. I will never be back. Poor Quality & Service
I bought a dining package and upon arrival it was noticeable covered in dust with one of the chairs especially covered in dust with a number of marks either damaged or poor quality. It was obvious that there was no quality checks of the items before it left the warehouse. I rang the Mcgregor store I purchased from to asked for the chair to be exchanged and was told that it will take a week which in itself is poor service. Considering that they charged $89 delivery fee I was appalled that I had to go all the way to their warehouse, I complained and the store rang and told me there was a chair I could pick up from the store and assured me it was check thoroughly and in good condition. 2wks later I drove to pick up the chair only to find that it had loose wood and showed the person the loose wood as well as the original poor quality chair. He apologised and assured me he will deliver a replacement chair to my house. Few days later I received a call asking me to pick up a chair from the Capalaba store. I told the customer service agent that I was promised that the chair will be delivered, she relayed my concerns to her manager, he plead ignorance that he knows nothing about it. Now 3 wks, I then had to collect the chair from Capalaba store and it was not in the best of condition either. I informed the salesman that I was assured he would check and he rather rudely said he didn't know anything about it, seems pleading ignorance is their response to avoid accountability. I took the chair because I had totally given up. I am disgusted with this brand and its poor quality and poor after sales service. I should be asking for my delivery fee back having had to make two trips to resolve this issue which in the end was not satisfactorily resolved. Never again.Similar opinion? Excellent customer service
Purchased Yarra Glen table and 8 chairs crème leather. When the chairs were delivered there was a problem with 4 cushions on the chairs, 1 flat, 1 lob sided, 1 marked leather and I tilted. We contacted the store in Macgregor and were given Factory manager phone no., we then contacted Alan and nothing was a problem to him. He arranged for Zeb to come out, replace and fit the new cushions to the chairs. Customer service from Alan and Zeb excellent.
We are very happy customers and will continue to shop at Eureka. Great quality furniture.

Bad furniture and bad customer service
Paid for new display cabinet and dining table - they delivered seconds. Stain marks, dents and scratched. The dining chairs were not the same as those ordered. Not one piece of furniture was as it should have been. Contacted them to have problem resolved. Was told that Customer Care would contact me, but 10 days later they have not. Person at the store said he would contact me on a specific date, - a week later he hasn't contacted me either. My conclusion is that they don't care about the customers or the items they sell. Am pleased to report that Eureka has contacted me since posting this review, and I will be inspecting the replacement furniture before it is swapped over next week.Similar opinion? Horrible Horrible In My eyes Rating is a big Zero
On the 13th Feb I purchased a Denvor lounge. As it was delivered I saw damage. I called MacGregor store. They assured me they will fix it. Didn't happen after been given the run around from 2 store manager, 1 rude female staff, 1 Co-ordinator then to 1 male in head office. I know putting a formal complaint to OFFICE OF THE FAIR TRADING. This was my first time buying from Eureka Street Furniture and this will be my last. I will keep posting of the out come. Know your rights.

Disgusting service
I bought a lounge chair. Was trying to find my remote between the cushions and sliced my finger on a staple. We only had it a few months. The seems were undoing. Also the reclining footrest was out of line. I sent many many emails and made many many phone calls where i had to leave messages that were NEVER once replied. There excuses for their disgusting communication and customer service was that they didnt have enougg staff. Poor excuse if you ask me. I will never purchase anything from them again. Exceptionally poor quality
I bought a timber dining table from Eureka Street furniture And after only 14 months, a crack started to appear along the centre. I went in to the store & they told me that the crack was occurring due to changes in the weather (this is an INDOOR table!). They said that the high humidity in Brisbane caused timbers to swell & then shrink thereby causing the furniture to crack. I pointed out that none of my other timber furniture, of which I have a lot, seemed to be suffering. They still rejected my request for repair or replacement & told me to buy some wax to fill the crack. I contacted someone from management & they responded in exactly the same way. The crack in the table is now huge.
Save your money, buy elsewhere.

Bad sales service, missing items delivered
I bought a lounge with cushions from McGregor Brisbane branch and it delivered with four cushions missing making the couch unacceptably bad looking without sufficient back rest. We asked the delivery guys who said that it was everything in the package. However we didn't get exactly what we purchased. Called McGregor sales and they kept pushing the blame and its already been 3 weeks now, I still don't have my cushions. After many calls I had to go back to the store to ask for it. The cushions are yet to be given to me. I will confirm back if this is resolved. All in all, it's an unsatisfactory buying experience with them.
