Perfect for teens
This is perfect for teens. It is not expensive to get a great quality phone with a fantastic camera. Pictures come out as high quality. It is slim and looks great. Got it without a contract from Big W.

Extremely disappointed. Screen is very easily cracked.
Thinking it would comparable with my Oppo r15. Within one day of owning my nova 3i it fell 30cms and the screen cracked. Extremely disappointed . Huawei will not help in this no support whatsoever.

Not too bad
Good phone, nice screen, responsive, good camera.
Power/wake and volume buttons on the same side so I inadvertently turn the volume down instead of answering or activating the phone.
With everything nut phone and messages switched of I get more than two days on standby.
Notification settings are poor with no fine grain control, to conserve battery I switch off location services but it notifies me that "network time not updated" as if it is GPS and not network dependent.
Software design is mediocre - cant go directly to call from messages, hav...Read more

Can't use it as phone after 1 year
I have been using the mobile phone for just over 12 months, it can't receive signal of mobile network and 4G network anymore, so basically it is nonfunctional as a phone just after the warranty expired, I don't think it is worthy to pay money to fix it.
I used many phones but never experienced bad quality phone like this one.

Good for the price
Paid 300 dollars for this phone and for that price the only real complaint I have is that the image quality in videos is often dreadful. Battery life is good, plenty of space for all the apps I want, easy to use and has face recognition which works most of the time. If I was buying another phone, the only thing I would do differently is buy a slightly higher model phone with better image quality stats. Overall for the price a very good deal.
Purchased for $300.00.

No tap and pay!?
There is no Near Field Communication (NFC) feature on this phone, meaning no tap and pay. This is extremely inconvenient and disappointing, even older model Samsung phones has this feature! Regardless the apps on the phone run smoothly and so does the phone itself. I've never had a serious problem with this phone so I'm very satisfied with the quality. Camera is great, though filters are bad, there is also Retrica! The main feature that attracts people to this phone would be the colour! Lovely purple, it's beautiful! Better yet it doesn't shatter into pieces when you drop it, when you fall on it though, we'll that's another story. I do recommend!

Just An Awesome phone
I brought the Huawei Nova 3i back in October last year From JB-Hi-Fi for about $499 a little expensive but it was worth it I’ve had the phone for about 9 months now and I love it I’ve had no issues what so ever with the phone the battery life is excellent last me more than a day.
As for camera it takes nice photos that can be uploaded to Facebook and instagram I don’t like portrait mode tho I use the photo mode to take a selfie instead as it comes out much nicer
The best thing about buying this phone is it comes with a case and a screen pro...Read more

Forget the flagship models...this does everything...almost
Fingerprint scanner, facial recognition, dual sim cards, 4 camera lenses and 128gb of storage for 60% of the price of an ageing iPhone 6, why would you buy anything else. It even has 6GB of ram! This is a very impressive phone with great battery life.
If I were to point out the two short comings I have noticed you could decide whether they bother you or not. The first, I replaced my Huawei 3e with this phone the 3i. What surprised me was the 3e had USB C and the 3i a later model went back to Micro USB a minor shortcoming but when you have been...Read more

Best device I have ever had
I have just purchased this beauty and am thrilled. At half the cost of a new IPhone I believe it performs just as well. A mere $344 from Office works makes for a great lower budget phone with nearly all the qualities of a high end phone. I highly recommended.

Love it
I like the size of this phone and its battery life is good. The only thing i dont like is speaker volume. Last phone had very good extra boosted volume. The amount of space is 128gb which is more than plenty and you can install a sd card . The photo app is not great and took some time to get used to. I cant really say anything else bad. Glad i purchased it

Huawei Nova 3i, outstanding and surprising
I have had little to no problems with this phone since I bought it from JB Hi Fi Jan 2022 at $550. Going from a Samsung s5 this Huawei phone was a significant improvement. It has a clear (high resolution) display, high quality camera, lots of storage, features such as fingerprint scanner and face unlock... It has basically anything you'd want from a phone... This all goes without mentioning the beautiful exterior of the phone... I would recommend to anyone!

This phone is good at a reasonable price
I bought this mobile phone for the reason of its dual SIM 4G function at a reasonable price. After using it for half a year, I find this dual sim function works well, the 4G signal is better than my previous phone with the same sim card, the same service provider at the same place. Furthermore, the system is always running fast even after I download 75 apps, and the game "clash royale" is also running smoothly without crash or delay. Besides, the camera on this phone is good, I can easily take photos without extra settings. Although it may take...Read more
1-2 seconds for the phone to process the photos due to different photography environment, the quality of the picture is not bad, especially for the picture captured at night. My only concern is that it would be better if the phone has an NFC function. Anyway, considering its price, this phone is a good bargain in my view.Purchased in January 2021 at Officeworks Physical store for $470.25.

Overall satisfactory
I use my mobile phone mainly for work and entertainment thus durability of the battery is very important. Its battery can last me the whole day without having to charge in the middle of the day. The camera quality is overall better than other other brands I've used but I find that photos turn out a bit grainy in low light area. The apps do generally run smoothly and I hardly face any issue with the phone at all.

Huawei. I can't pronounce it but damn it's a good phone.
Purchased my Huawei 3i from JB hi-fi and as I have never owned a Huawei mobile before, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I spent the good part of two weeks researching phones in the mid range area and shortlisted it to 6 different phones. Upon setting up the phone I immediately noticed a difference in Android, however I found a very simple and quick to learn. This phone is amazing. It has 128 gigabytes, with 4 gig ram, and some amazing artificial intelligence. To be brutally honest, I have seen some of my friends with their $1,500 iPhones tha...Read more
t ain't capable of doing what the 3i can do. Obviously the down points to the phone are that it doesn't feature NFC, and now with the Trump crap going on, it's a guessing game whether or not updates will continue on this phone. That aside this phone is fantastic. It offers so many features, the battery lasts forever, the only problem I have is with the internal speaker which lacks sound quality. My Nokia 6 had 10 times better speakers then this phone but still it's not enough to knock a star off. if you are honestly looking for a good phone that does so many things with such a good camera and artificial intelligence and even is cool little qmojis that imitate your facial features, this phone is a barrel of laughs and a whole heap of fun.Purchased in May 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Online Store for $499.00.

Wife loves it
Bought this phone last year for wife as her birthday gift. She has been using Samsung S7 previously. Got her the Irish blue. She loves it. Selfie pictures are great, even the pictures taken with the dual lens are great for the value i paid, $499. The brightness is commendable, large screen with good resolution. Batt life goes beyond 1 day's usage. Irish blue colour is simply stylish and superb, makes the phone look expensive, :) . Typing messages is easy as she does tent to spend heaps time on facebook and whatsapp. Sound quality is good for its class of being budget phone. Huawei done a fantastic job creating a stunning budget phone.

Perfect phone for budget price
I bought my Huawei Nova 3i from JB hifi for only $380 to replace my existing iPhone. I made an accurate decision, less than half the price of iPhone 6 this Huawei phone is really wonderful to operate, its size, performance is perfect. Now I am thinking why I was using iPhone for so long.

Great battery, I dont like the camera however
The camera quality was poor. Every photo I tried to take of my moving dog came up blurry.
The display is super bright which is great. The colours on the screen look nice.
The phone tended to lag a little once I downloaded a few apps (FB, Instagram, etc).
The battery life on this phone is phenomenal. It would easily last me 2 full days with no charge overnight.
However I couldn't deal with how much it lagged. I ended up buying another phone anyway.

Made the move from apple
Have been an apple guy since day 1, ended up smashing my last iPhone and thought I'd give this a go with the price and great reviews, not disappointed at all, never thought I'd like android, so glad I made the change, half the price, twice the features! Also got the free ear buds, stoked! Camera is amazing and battery life has to be the best part.

I have had many phones in the past from different providers and so far this is the worst I have ever owned.
1. Camera quality - ultra bright, some people will like it but I don't. It is as if all your photos are enhanced and does not look natural at all.
2. All the key menus are backwards e.g. Back button is on the left not right. You will get use to it but it is very annoying
3. Very difficult to customise the settings.
4. Very weak glass/screen despite claiming they used the toughest glass screen in the market. I have had this phone for ...Read more

Huawei Nova 3i is very frustrating to use to say the least. I have major issues changing calendar dates whether it's time changes or put back and brought forward to other dates without having to fill in all details again. I tick the top right corner thinking that it is saved after editing however it reverts back to the same dates over and over again. Any help would be appreciated? No tech person I've take to knows how to use it. They're mystified.. Stephen L.
