Ordered several items online for click and collect. Not notified about an item that I paid for that was unavailable at pick up time. Ikea should have contacted us about this! I live too far to drive back! Not happy. Now waiting half an hour on phone to sort it out

Click and collect - don’t do it
Very bad click and collect service. Did this twice, first time booked the time in, but waited 50 mins. Guys where very disorganized. Second time received a text confirming order ready to pick up that day. Called in to check it was and they said yes, so went in. I’m still waiting in my car now after 45 mins. Called from the car from car bay twice now- still no sign. Seriously. I don’t understand what’s so hard?? Not worth the hassle dealing with them.

Was not a great experience due to the rude staff.
I came in to get a flat pack chest of drawers and expected a smoother experience, Wednesday April 8 around 1400. I understand with everything going on it’s a mess, but I asked a staff member where the trolleys were and he rudely pointed at a sign that said trolleys that I’d obviously missed - silly mistake, whatever, I don’t come here often. I go there and there’s no trolleys. Affordable, simple
I go to rhodes, ikea around once a month, it can get crowded at certain times but the staff are usually always helpful. The furniture can sometimes be a hit and miss, but for the money and what you want it almost always fits its purpose. My corner sofa that converts to a bed has lasted years and years and is very comfortable and our small bookshelves have always lasted well however I cant say the same for chairs of a table we got. Overall I would still recommend and will be coming back

Worst customer service ever
We bought a sofa bed, a bed and 2 bed side tables around $3,000 purchase and then when delivered the track was higher than 3 m so it didn't fit the door to go to the visitor parking. They could not leave the goods and we have to pay again for the delivery. I consider their mistake that they didn't warn us about that and in the terms and conditions is specified that we should have sufficient space and access. time buying in ikea. I talked to the delivery team and manager and to my surprised they said they will return the money of the goods and i will loose the money from the delivery. This is so silly how come they prefer to loose a sell of $3.000 just because they didn't want to pay $69. I wonder if their executives know this. Great quality and affordable prices!
The store is very spacious and easy to navigate like all ikea stores. The range of products are good. The prices are reasonable and a good choice of products. The customer service is good. Furnitures were easy to assemble, the guidelines are very precise and easy for a newbie.

Faulty goods
Drove 1 1/2hours to IIkea Rhodes, purchasd a $350 dressing table with mirror. Upon opening the 4boxes, items were missing from box 2, box 3 which contained the mirror, -mirror cracked and timber mirror frame warped. Contacted IKEA Customer Service. Replacement of whole unit would be sent to us and our purchased boxes will be collected. imes does IKEA have to do to get it right. Now waiting for another four days for the missing boxes to arrive, hopefully they will be the boxes we need to make this table. Sorry IKEA you have poor quality control and no service to assist those who trust buying in good faith. No compensation either for all the wasted time. Not a fan of ikea. TV Entertainment Faulty design but no refund
I bought 'Besta' TV entertainment from Ikea but very quickly it was bent in the middle. I took it to the store only to find that I can not get a refund back since Ikea can not sell to other customer.

I cannot believe the customer service at Ikea, absolute jokes. So upset with how they treat people.
Very politely trying to make changes as I was told by the server that changes are easy over the phone.

Delivery Cancelled
Bought living and bedroom furniture item for guests coming from overseas and booked delivery for 4 days later (even having closer days available) to organise move-in in my building. The day of delivery they didn’t show up. Made promises for a week after, but without few items they run-out and can deliver. No calls to inform us the delivery has been delayed or rescheduled. Ikea receives the payment on the spot and delivers when they want. They are beyond ridiculous!!!!

Wrong delivery
Terrible after sales service! They delivered the wrong mattress then were totally uncontactable on the phone waited over an hour and gave up. They don't employ enough customer service people, There was no check by delivery service no attached paperwork. Total reliance on electronic systems and then they employ some subcontract labour to deliver who don't know or check the product against order. Total time waste so you cant buy any bulky item at IKEA and have it delivered reliably. There is no proper contact system to get through when the wrong product is delivered.

Delivery No Show three times in a row !
Booked delivery time for wardrobe - told them it was going to an empty house and we’d go there and wait in the three hour window for delivery. First time no show it went to wrong address (to our old address on their family loyalty not the nominated delivery address). Spent an hour waiting on hold to talk them to sort it out - second attempt saw us once again travelling to the new house once again it went to our old address. ow ! So we’ve now waited at the empty house for 12 hours and spent at least 3 hours on hold listening to their moronic Muzak - I’m now on hold in their telephone queue it’s only been 50 mins so far. IKEA Rhodes provides unacceptable delivery service
IKEA Rhodes delivery service is totally unreliable and unacceptable. Scheduled delivery of goods has not happened at all. No calls received to inform us of the delay or of rescheduling. It is pointless to contact IKEA customer service by phone as they do not answer. Considering legal action as we paid for the goods one month ago and IKEA has not complied with their obligation to deliver.

Joke of a company
Ordered thousands of dollars worth of furniture and can't even get it delivered in a timely manner after two failed deliveries and wasting hours of time on hold. Disgraceful. Will tell everyone I know to stay away.

Forget metropolitan delivery!
So the previous review was "Forget rural delivery", I'll compliment that with my horror story of IKEA metropolitan delivery.
This is December 2018 story...
I ordered and paid online for $4000 worth of furniture for my new 3 bedroom house. Delivery was re-scheduled at least 3 - 4 times now, with reasons ranging from failure to correct address postcode, no-show & no-call, called but no show, etc.
Needless to mention the well-known fact about IKEA call centre... (1 hour wait each time).
One day, Amazon will sell furniture and it will end the IKEA's nightmare.
Now my family is risking having no furniture when moving in... Will tell them to just get lost with their delivery and give me my money back in full.

Delivery delayed over 3 days, unable to contact the customer support number in Sydney!
I bought items on 4 May, 2018 worth about 650 AUD at the Rhodes IKEA store and paid about 70 AUD to have these items delivered to my residence in Sydney and we selected the 5 pm to 9 pm option as we both work and come back by 5 pm.
The service is really sucky, the delivery guy landed up at our place without any notice at 4 pm, then left a sms after he tried to reach us (we could not answer the call) saying he happened to be "around" so wanted to deliver!

My fault
I went into the store, took their staff to the actual products, and they put into the computer the pay numbers so when I got the delivery today 27 Oct. 18. It was my fault I didnt get handles as their floor display, I didn’t get all the hardware behind the draws I ordered as per their floor display. And she clearly it’s my fault for their staffs fault. Sadly this is the third time I have to used Ikea as a stop gap. It’s been a complete waste of time. Caused me more than they are worth.

At IKEA
On arrival from overseas we went to Ikea in a hurry to buy the few items of furniture absolutely necessary: beds, shelves, table, chairs, computer desks...
To our surprise the delivery date was in two weeks unless we wanted to load a train of trolleys and go them at the till and the transport and assembly teams directly.
I cannot even imagine what stops them doing this, as they should, in a few short days to their customers' satisfaction.
Anyway in the meantime we slept on mattresses on the floor with a break at the hotel to recover.
