Fortunately I have not had to claim on my current policy. I have been with Insure n go before with no problems. I had to ring your company today re a possible clinic to see if I was covered. The on hold took forever and they asked for a call back. Left my policy number and phone number but nobody got back to me. I hope this does not happen if I m in a foreign hospital waiting on a claim.

Covers what we need, proof will be if we have to claim on it.
This product was best coverage for the price, It covers everything we need while travelling.
It was very easy to select and purchase the policy. We havent claimed yet and hope that we dont have to.

Simple, easy to use service

Discounted price. Discounted service.
The cost of the policy appeared to be good value for benefits offered. On submitting a claim for flights lost due to severe illness while overseas it took more than seven weeks and much stress to receive a payout which was a fraction of our loss. Our paperwork was not returned although we were assured it would be. Use a more reliable company!

Don't bother
Had a 15% discount and was about to book the Silver cover but after reading the PDS I decided not to proceed. There are way too many exclusions. Read the PDS people and you will see so many situations where you are not covered. Don't bother, even if it looks like a cheap solution.

Straightforward, hassle-free claiming
The policy I purchased (Silver, no excess) turned out to be a great option for me. My flight back to Australia was cancelled last minute due to weather. I contacted Insureandgo, letting them know the situation, and was able to recover the cost of my flights without any problem within the timeframe they told me. This was the first time I have used them and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others.

Months to process claim
Lodged claim, InsureandGo took over 2 months to process claim. They were uncommunicative and did not answer my questions. I sent emails to try and sort out why they did not cover what was listed in my policy but no response. Would not use company again and would not recommend them. I have used this company multiple times but not till you make a claim do you realise how difficult and unhelpful InsureandGo is.
They dragged out claim process(told its being reviewed) to past the end date of my policy and now I can not get my claim sorted out.

Good insurance at a good price
I declared two pre-existing conditions and the premium did not go up one cent. Meanwhile I've had no end of trouble getting insurance from another provider for income protection. Definitely recommend.

My policy was purchased 19/2/20. My query is did Insureandgo know when i purchased this worthless policy that due to the pandemic they would not be liable for any claims. In other words they took my money for jam. As far as I am aware the pandemic was declared 31/1/20. I feel that should have been informed at purchase. My cruise dates were from 22/5/20 to 5/6/20. Hi Keith, It's more of, if you did travel and caught the virus that you are not covered. But our dispute is that it doesn't matter when you purchased the policy you haven't traveled yet, We all should be getting a refund. I have read that other travel insurance companies are refunding. As it is not our fault that all travel has been shut down. InsureandGo stand to make thousands of dollars if they do not give everyone back there money. I have put in a formal complaint to the ombudsman now, not just for me but for everyone. I hope you and others can do the same, the more complaints the better chance on getting a refund.

If it's good enough for companies like Woolworths Insurance to refund the policies then it should be the same for all major companies. I'm seeking clarification from them on my 2 policies purchased for travel this year then I will too go the the ombudsman. In a spirit of goodwill from them I'd even be happy with credit for my future travel.
