PS ‘cause’?

i have been a security guard in retail stores for 10 yrs the security has the right to check prams bags etc Before leaving a store. But The customer has the right to refusal & there is NOTHING legally the security or the store can do. They cant detain you thats false arrest & its against the law. one of the most common place stolen goods are stashed is in prams under the baby, but if the baby is asleep it would be common sense on the security guards part to just check the top of the pram & leave the baby asleep. some security get big swelled heads & are out the impress & big note themselves. If it happens again you have the right to refuse & keep walking if they try to detain you call the police

As you already know JB do not respond here as this is a public review site. The first logical step is by checking their website (as I just did) or contacting the company directly for an immediate answer.

Has anyone’s else had problems with DVD’s from JB, specifically box sets? Almost every single box set I have purchased has problems with skipping while playing the DVD. Even though they are “brand new”. I have this wierd feeling they put returns back on the shelf or somehow burn and package box sets themselves.

Sounds like it's your dvd player. I've never had an issue with their discs and it would be strange that many discs do this on your machine.

Hi Lisa, thanks for your response. It’s actually a relatively new PlayStation 4, and I have had the same problem across many devices.

Hi, we were wanting to purchase a Ipod Touch 64GB for my sons birthday. After viewing your online ad for this product today (which states “only available in store”)we drove the 40 mins to our closest store at Kawana to be told that they don’t stock it. They suggested that they were only available in southern states? No other assistance given. I then rang Maroochydore JB Hifi to be told they too had no stock, though upon assisting this time she checked for the state & still nothing? I then contacted my brother in Melbourne to ring & check & he was told the same? If there is no iPod Touch 64GB stock, why is it being advertised on your website? This is false advertising! Not to mention the inconvenience of trying to locate a phantom product. If such a product does exist in your stores? My son is still without his gift... can someone please confirm this for me? Otherwise remove from your website.
Regards,
Simone white

JB Hi-Fi

Hi, I bought a laptop in JB Hi Fi last wednesday and returned it the next day because it was advertised as having Win 10 Home as its OS, but when I started using it, I found out it has Win 10 S instead. As I really needed a laptop for uni, I asked for an exchange and looked for another. The salesperson was nice and convinced me to buy a Lenovo. I paid a couple hundred $ more on this and went home. However, when I started using it today, i found out that its keyboard design is not the usual design that we are used to. The right shift key is at the right side of the up arrow. Also, the battery only lasts for 4-5 hrs even with the battery saver on. I will be using this for uni and I usually spend 6-8hrs, 3 days a week at school so I don't want to be tied to a power outlet.

Now I want to exchange it again but I don't know if they will honour it as this would be my second time to ask for an exchange. Can someone enlighten me if I can do this or just stick with this annoying laptop?

Did you know it is very easy to upgrade Win 10s to Win 10 home in the app store at no cost? Admittedly the staff should have known this but there was no need to buy a new laptop just because of the OS, you can always put a new OS on a computer without much difficulty or cost.......

Your experience is quite interesting. For the first exchange, I deem the seller should be responsible for their misleading advertising information on their online shop. For the second exchange, I opine you should also partly responsible for your negligence of the advertising information on their online shop.

_When you do or ever first step in at JB HI FI_Just ask at your first point of entry, right next to the the invisible condition of entry conditions _so to speak _ the first person you see).
(JB HI FI )( Customer agreed condition right of entry)( bag peekin') security dude situated in the(front door way )of every friendly (JB HI FI )store.
, ask him where to find that particular (overpriced JB HI FI rip off item is ), then as he just politely stares back at you smiling. guess what? he dosent know.?
* then you gotta chase down a ($)two grand sales based commission agents attention?? for his guess on something?? maybe a five grand TV would might get him excited his full attention perhaps ???? on their vast range extended of discounted complete (garbage ),just forget about it.

>> ORDER ONLINE WITH JB HI FI are you KIDDING !! waiting ten years for something i ordered last century ???is that how they show a profit <<

(=except for JB HI FI rather( extensive and very expensive range) of ($)(two grand tvs) and ($ )(five grand OLED TV's)

Your best bet would be to contact a JB HiFi store and ask. They do have SmartWay finance (aka Flexirent), but whether you can use that for things like drones or not is another question, and whether you'd want to is yet another! (There's always a newer/better model coming out).

The other question I'd ask is what sort of drone are you looking for? I tried cheapies from different retailers, and they never made the grade.

I use them for photography, and have found the the more expensive ones are more stable and easier to use for that purpose. I've used the DJI Phantom and Inspire 1.

I believe you should take this matter to HP as it is their product, not JB Hi-Fi's. They are simply selling their product, perhaps you can contact HP on 13 23 47 (customer service)

Jb sold it. Jb are responsible. Would probably be a minor fault so they would send it off but definitely on them.

I bought a TV from JBH and signed a contract of $1100 of which was paid for on credit. A week later I received a HSBC credit card with the $1100 on it for the TV. Which is great. However 2 weeks after that i received a call then a letter from them saying they charged me the incorrect amout for this TV and it should have bee $1700 and I need to come into the store to sign a new contract. Can they do this? Surely the contract I signed is binding and they cant just say they made a mistake and now I must pay for it?

Pretty sure if they've invoiced you they have to honour the invoiced price, if you insist on it. I would contact fair trading and ask. They may just be hoping you won't kick up a fuss and take it further.

Hi apparently they have laybuys for 3 months but be ware if you are enticed because on sale the sale may end in 1 week you have laybuy at full price-
I have gone to 3 stores to have this confirmed so either buy full priced on laybuy or sale straight up. Though I must comment in Maidstone Victoria-are good with there laybuys keep at sale price even if comes of sale within laybuy length- but do not have music items

If the store isn't helpful, I really don't know who you can turn to. I suppose you could try cancelling the order (in writing) because they haven't met their side of the contract? Depends a lot on whether you've paid for it already or not. If it's a big item and/or a lot of money involved, you might like to check with consumer affairs in your stat to see what they suggest.. Sorry I can be more helpful. Good luck.

I was in JB Hi Fi today getting some more DVD's & asked one of their staff about their price match policy & told them about me buying Season 5 of Pretty Little Liars on Saturday for $44.98 then on the Monday finding it in the Big W catalogue for $24, she went to see the manager & came back to let me know they would match it. I had the receipt with me so straight away they refunded me the $20.98, definitely was worth asking!!!! Great customer service & policies JB Hi Fi!!!!!

Lucky you got a Manager who would price match I've asked for price match in another store on a different item and the staff just looked at me if I was an idiot. This was in Robina Town Centre store.
