Don't buy Jasper
We excitedly spent 6K on this beautiful sofa called Jasper however, upon receiving, the feathers started coming out on the first day we sat on it. We have to put throws and sheets on the top to comfortable sit on it else it pinches. The looks are great but the quality is worst i have seen. I did not expect this quality for such a big amount i spent. Should have gone with Nick scali or other brand.

Disappointing quality for premium cost
We purchased our Jasper lounge late 2018 and requested delivery after May 2022. When it was delivered, there were 2 manufacturing defects - one of the shelf units was missing a hole, so could not be installed, and the seat bases were of different heights, which required inspection by a technician, who couldn't explain why. The shelf unit was replaced and installed within a few weeks, but one of the bases will not be replaced until October.
These faults were unexpected for the premium cost we paid, which was very disappointing.

The time to rectify and replace manufactured items was not the main issue. We expected that expensive 'quality' furniture would not have basic manufacturing issues, particularly as we were considering further purchases!

Always happy with customer service at King Living. This time been to different king living stores, but decided to get back to Nunawading store as the level of service that we always receive from King Living Nunawading and specially Nina Rinaldo is above and beyond. Finally we could customise our sofa but poor after sale service
Sarah was fantastic in helping us with customising sofa and selecting colours. High quality furniture in the showroom, staff is welcoming and professional. However the after sale service is very poor-despite receiving our sofa it has not been properly installed. Its very frustrating when you have spend $6grand on a sofa and it’s not installed the way it should be.

Great shopping experience
The best furniture shopping experience I ever had. The staff, Millie Wu, is so friendly, patient and helpful. We’ve been to so many stores to look for a sofa set and finally get one in King Living with Millie’s help and fantastic suggestions. A bit pricy but certainly good quality and advanced design.

Amazing couch, fantastic service
We just bought our first couch for our first home!! We came in 3 times to make sure we made the right decision and every single time the service was above and beyond. Jason was fantastic. He was friendly and physically moved couch parts for us so that we could see and compare. Can’t wait for delivery!

Top notch service
Our experience purchasing a couch couldn't have been better at the Nunawading branch. Excellent service
After reviewing sofa types on line, together with stores selling the product, we visited our closest King Living Store to view and possibly purchase a sofa. The store was easily found and parking was plentiful (weekday at about 12:15pm). We entered the store and noted a number of staff were in attendance and one staff member approached us and asked if we would like assistance. We'd declined, advising the staff member "We're just browsing". He responded "Please continue. If you'd like any help, I'll be over there." (Such a pleasant feeling ...Read more
not to have someone 'hovering' while you're considering an item(s).) The layout of the store was very easy to navigate and the sofa we were interested in was easily located. While looking at the item, we noticed a dining room chair close by. We'd been considering such chairs as a later purchase, but as the chair was what we were looking for we considered it carefully. At that stage we looked for the sales person and he approached, introduced himself (Douglas) and we advised him what we were interested in. He explained our sofa came in a number of lengths, different legs, various fabrics and colours. We checked our measurements and found we needed a 2.5 seater sofa. He then obtained a number of material and colour swatches, plus examples of the other colour of the sofa leg. We had many questions regarding covering composition, as well as possible colour. Douglas then queried us, regarding details of the room where we were considering placing a sofa. The size and location of the room, colours of the wall and ceiling, floor coverings and colour, the style of the room, etc. This helped us considerably and we felt very confident in choosing the various aspects of the sofa. Next we asked about the dining room chairs. Again, Douglas asked us about colours, style, other furnishings, etc. He explained various aspects of the chair we were considering, such as measurements, queried the type of dining table we had, even the type of room lighting. In essence, Douglas showed considerable decorating knowledge, was personable, insightful, efficient and his explanations easily understood. We decided on colour and covering and he offered us water, tea, coffee, and said he'd prepare the sale documents. While he was processing those, we noticed a lounge chair on display in the window. This was very similar to a chair we'd considered prior to Christmas, but that item had been too big for our needs. When Douglas brought us the paperwork for our purchase of the sofa and dining room chairs, we mentioned how we'd been looking for a lounge chair but the style we liked was too large. He asked us to wait a moment and returned within minutes, showing us a brochure with both the original chair and a "compact" version of the chair we liked. This resulted in further discussion and consideration (colour, material) and we decided to purchase two of the 'compact' versions of the chair. Douglas re-did the sale papers, showed us the various individual costs associated with our purchases, discussed and confirmed delivery date, expected delivery time, access to our home (any stairs, narrow doorways) and how to affect final payment on delivery. The purpose of this review seeks to show a number of points. Firstly, excellent customer service exhibited by the sales person. How his knowledge, patience, professionalism and expertise helped us make our purchases with confidence. Equally, we were made to feel that our purchases had Douglas' complete attention. He didn't 'need' to confirm with a colleague about anything. He didn't keep glancing past us as other people entered the showroom. We were the only people he was concentrating on. The answers to our questions were answered without any delay and answered without technical jargon. The explanation of the final sale price didn't (suddenly) raise any "extra" payments, There was no evidence of 'up selling' or showing us 'a better deal'. In essence we found the entire process both pleasant and informative. If only other furniture retailers employed staff with such knowledge of their respective products and who concentrate on the client in front of them, rather than "keeping their eye on the next possible client, walking through the door.1 comment

We went into King Furniture with a basic idea of what we wanted. Douglas was fantastic to deal with at the Nunawading showroom. He was respectful, professional and had an impressive amount of knowledge about all products we were interested in. It made our purchasing decision all that much easier when we were shown the thought, detail and material that had gone into King furniture, especially the 9008 mattress. There really is nothing like it in the market!

Great Customer Service
Our consultant was Carol Liavas. She listened to our needs, gave suggestions & helped us to eliminate what we didn't want / need to decide on the perfect couch for us. We have ordered it & awaiting delivery.
A nice touch was that we were made a coffee while we waited for the paper work, which didn't even take that long.
Friendly, welcoming & providing us with all product knowledge required.

Douglas was terrific
The experience shopping at Kings was so helpful and informative. King furniture is so cleverly designed and Douglas knowledge of all the nuances of the couches, etc we purchased was extremely helpful in making our decision to purchase. Terrible after sales service.Especially when furniture is faulty
A month ago we took delivery of our Canyon dining table and Quay dining chairs. After inspection it was evident that the fabric on the armrest and back of chairs was crinkled and the underside was not finished properly. In one instance the seat of the chair did not meet the back of the chair.
The chairs received were of inferior quality, design and finish to those seen at the showroom.

A pleasant experience
We found it easy to navigate the store as the layout was uncluttered. Extensive range of products of high quality. We are still awaiting delivery of the couch so cannot actually comment on the assembly.

An Awesome Customer Experience: Sean Panayiotou is Literally a King
I visited king living as I was looking for some new furniture but didn’t want to always be stuck with the same boring set up. That’s actually a compliment to the line of products and accessories offered by king living. Quickly Sean realised how overwhelming it started to get for and that’s when the brilliance and LEGIT interior design master stepped in to help. Sean knows the product line in and out. He could sleep walk someone through the process with such ease and translate what it means to me. Prior to coming in he designed a series of layouts based on my floor plan and already had a range of ideas for colour picked out based on what I had to him. I can not thank him enough and at 39 years of age I have never been excited about actually getting furniture. Now this furniture is definitely an investment, but it’s worth it and affordable. Thank you so much for providing me with such a great customer experience through the use of your brilliance and technology tools that king living deploys to make this process exciting and fun.
