Good Support and Good Speeds
Im glad I found these guys as their prices are good, with good support by email (haven't tried their phone service too much) and good speeds. No need to get stuck with contracts and you can pause your service if you don't want to. The payment is deducted per day and you can upgrade your speed and it will be changed within 24 hours (delay from vocus, not Launtel as mentioned on their site)
The support people are locals so that helps a lot. Highly recommended.

Internet done different
Please keep in mind that I'm on a fttp connection, single user, and I have no need for any other bundled services.
I have not experienced any drop outs / slow down during my free 7 day trial . I have been working full time from home 7:30am to 3:30pm (light usage) and the stable connection is more than enough for my needs.
Benefits that stood out to me:
- competitive pricing ($2.08 per day for 6 months, coupon sale found on OzBargain) for 50mbps unlimited download. I live in Sydney, so your price may vary.
- I would say I have been averaging 43 to 48mbps across peak and off peak on a tp-link ac1200, using the company VPN ( sorry I haven't attached speedtest screenshots )

- sign up was simple, payment plans and terms were easy to understand. Step by step instructions were provided in layman terms. I was connected in 3 hours on a Sunday evening, the night before I was required to work from home on short notice. - no information overload in the sign up emails I received. Information included troubleshooting and faq's - the user portal is simple to use, including easy pre payment. - FREE 7 day trial that did not require provision of any payment / card details. - Having preference for prepaid mobile plans, I appreciate being able to control my spend. After the free 7 day trial period finishes, usage is charged daily and is deducted from the amount that you load. There is an option to choose auto top up by providing card details. - ability to pause and modify your internet connection DAILY (you will be charged the daily rate of the fastest connection you use on the day) - If you don't wish to go ahead with the service following your free trial, simply don't prepay or add card details. - Australian tech support. My sales enquiry was answered by a technician, who was super humble and helpful. - the founder (!) answered an enquiry that I had, which shattered my customer service expectations. I have learned a lot from Launtel's winning combination of - 1. Value for money 2. A premium product that delivers on its promise 3. Ease of use / trustworthiness 4. Australian tech support who are readily available 5. A very clear mission / values. You can sense what the founder and the staff are trying to achieve. I was that impressed with Launtel, I had to leave them a review - and this is the first review I have left on the internet! I have not received any rewards / discount / loyalty club for this review. Give the 7 day free trial a go and support this company!

Fast support fast internet
Blown away at how quickly this was set up and how good my connection is. That's the last time I go with the big providers, iiNet, exetel etc. Glad I took a chance.

Product and service like no one else! A new level of home internet!
Constant speeds, even in peak.
Never fluctuated much.
Great product and I love being able to turn it off for days I don’t need it to save on my bill.
And personal customer service, something I didn’t think you got with ISP’s these days!

I’ve used Launtel for many years.. they are helpful, friendly,professional and local..
We live in an area known for its poor connectivity.. yes, speeds can be a tad slow but always reliable enough to get by... A good router is essential for my WiFi service.. I’m very happy to have what I have..

Quick setup and consistently high internet speed
Launtel provisioned my internet connection on the same day (about 5.5hrs from submitting request to working internet at my home; I already had a router which I knew how to setup). The speed is consistent even in the peak periods. Great flexibility as you can pay daily and pause when you are away from your home and not use the NBN internet. I'd recommend Launtel as a competent NBN provider.

Excellent Customer Service
I heard of Launtel on ieatwords and got a free trial for 7 days. I was guided through the setup process by their service team (especially Damian) via email and phone calls - even after hours! Service is stable, speeds are as advised and billing method is great (they charge daily and allow you to change your speed/plan daily - even pause it).
Very pleased to transfer to Launtel, highly recommended!!!

Excellent customer service
Setup process was fast. I requested their service late at night and Launtel's customer service responded via email within the hour to guide me through the setup process. I was connected the very next morning. Internet so for is reliable and speeds are as advertised.

Same Same but Different - in a Great Way!
heard of Launtel on Whirlpool forums and as offering a 7 day free trial (who does that?!) for NBN decided to give them a try. They arranged for a NTD box to be sent out which arrived within 24 hour, and I was up and running within minutes of setting it up locally.
They have continuously followed up and even when I've responded out of hours and expecting an answer next business day, I have instead had a response within 30 minutes (or less)! Such great support makes you feel like you are part of a team, not just a number or an monthly invo...Read more
ice! Replies have always been friendly and very helpful. Service speed has been great and consistent. And the key difference of Launtel from other NBN providers is they charge daily and allow you to change your speed/plan daily - even pause it altogether if you need to. Thats a fresh approach I've not seen elsewhere and can potentially save $$$ ongoing. Great service - in safe hands
Very pleased to have transferred to Launtel. So far I've experienced great service and a reliable, fast connection.
After my previous service provider did not respond to my phone calls or emails, and my NBN service was down for 4 days, it took only minutes to be up and running with Launtel, I was guided by their service team - and this was on the weekend in the evening.
Very happy with aftersales service thus far - highly recommended.

Launtel is the best ISP. Period.
Perfect NBN Provider, my response queries are answered within 10 minutes via email, even after hours! Super fast 250/100 connection and great billing methodology.
Couldn't recommend Launtel highly enough. I've been with Telstra, Optus, AussieBB and MyRepublic, none of them even slightly stack up

Great support and network speed
Launtel has perfected the art of supplying reliable and fast internet connection, customer service and support. We received our NBN box installation within a week (groundbreaking!), personalised router recommendations, router tech support as well as regular check-in’s from their friendly staff. Incredible customer service. Excellent ISP!
Launtel is the best ISP I have been with. Their customer service is incredible. They respond promptly (sometimes within minutes of sending an email) and know what they are talking about.
My NBN connection is HFC, the service is stable and changing speeds can be done online and only takes a few minutes. You are charged daily and pay for the maximum speed you chose that day. Speeds are as advised.
I had no issues connecting to NBN whatsover as communication was clear and their team were there to advise me whenever I had any questions.
Highly, highly recommended.

A hidden gem!
Launtel may be little known outside of Tassie, but don't let their small size fool you. These guys provide a top-notch service with local support, and with a 7 day free trial, you honestly have nothing to lose. On my local POI (Ryde, NSW) speeds have been consistent no matter the time of day, and replies to e-mail support have always been super fast (I haven't had a need to call them, so can't comment on phone support).
If you don't mind paying a little bit more than some competitors, and are thinking that AussieBB/Superloop etc are your only options, definitely give Launtel a go.

Have been email Launtel about LBN connection.
We have almost 10+ email back and forth.
Swift response very time and provided very useful advise.

Unbeatable Customer Service
After trying to move house with Belong, I was told me it would take 2 weeks after my request date to reconnect my internet and I would be charged for the full month as well.
After hearing this, I sent a connection request to Launtel on a Sunday night and had my internet connected within a few hours. They even gave me a few weeks of free service to sort out issues with my old internet provider.
Launtel simply provide top customer service with a competitive price. They are quick to respond to emails and have will sort out any issues asap. No other telcos I've been with have come close to the level of service I've received. Would recommend to everyone!

A breath of fresh air!
Have been using Launtel in Melbourne for the past month and am very impressed. Great speeds and easy setup, but the best part of the service is the support - all responses are quick and super helpful, and often you find yourself dealing with Damian (the guy who started Launtel) himself! Couldn't be happier with this service so far. What a nice change from the traditional telcos.

Excellent service and impressive speeds
We recently moved across to Launtel on their 7 day trial. We haven't finished the trial, but we already know that we will be staying with Launtel for the foreseeable future. The two reasons that we decided to move was because our previous provider did not offer the 100/40 option and we noticed some congestion in the evening peak. The speeds have been really impressive especially the evening peak. We're seeing speeds of 83-86/35 most nights. So happy !
We have had very poor service from another provider who spent two and half weeks faffing around and not fixing the problem leaving us without internet for 2 and a half weeks. Launtel fixed it in 30 seconds. Signing up was really easy the service so far has been exceptional.

Hi Launtel, what's the NBN connectivity in Darwin?

Hi Yakub, Darwin is one of our directly connected areas so we can provision services quickly etc.
However we don't have any peering in Darwin (very few providers do) and instead backhaul it to Sydney first. This is not an issue for most people because 90% of Australian content comes from Sydney anyway. However if you are talking to a server in Darwin (like your office), the latency would be high.
The other thing to watch is that you should be careful doing speedtests over wifi in Darwin unless you know the packet loss is really low due to the high latency to Sydney.

We don't bill monthly however you can change your recharge amount to be monthly.
In the portal at under "My Account" and then "Payment Details" you can set an auto recharge amount and a minimum balance.
That way if you put $65 in the account and tell it the minimum balance is $3 it will recharge automatically every month.
