Impressive
Don't know how we got by with out the lg .I've even lifted the beds to let it under to clean .it picks up more than our aged nilfisk can get and has made work around the house much easier for us .great to follow the mess left by our kids. Still going strong after 6 months. Occasionally it will not go home mainly I think because we carry it to different rooms away from the station. Not a problem at all.
The dust bunnies it picks up. The work it saves.
Nothing except I still find wife following it around

Does a better job than us!
My husband and I are fans of robot vacuum cleaners, mainly because we are too lazy to do the job ourselves. We've previously bought the Roomba a few years ago and now that it's ready to be retired, thought we could use with a much higher upgrade so we got the LG.
It is a lot smarter than the old Roomba. I like that we can programme it and it just does the job in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep (and it's so quiet we don't even notice it). It vacuums very well (we have 2 dogs that shed a LOT of hair) and I'm surprised at how mu...Read more
ch dirt it can pick up. I like that it's got 2 brushes and being square-shaped, it does clean corners better than the round vacuums. I also like that it 'remembers' where it has gone so it doesn't come back to the same spot twice. My only gripe with this is that, in the 3 months we've had and used the LG daily, it has only gone back to its docking station twice maybe three times. It has become normal for us in the mornings to look for the vac and return it 'home'. It's so sensitive, it has become stuck on rugs, chair legs, toys, shoes and sometimes we just don't know what?? I say it's so smart and determined to vacuum a spot that it'll keep trying and trying even though there's an obstruction in the way so it becomes stuck. Whereas the old Roomba would have just gone "meh" and gone elsewhere. We do try to keep the floors as clear as possible but unless we absolutely have nothing on the floor, I don't believe it will ever find its way back home every time. In saying that though, our floor is still a lot cleaner than it would be without it. Through a combination of gift vouchers, EOFY sale and haggling skills, we only paid about $550 for ours from Myer. I'm not sure if I would be as happy with it if we had paid the full $1,100!!! Scheduling function Gets stuck on random things (very annoying)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Better than I thought!!
Lg have made this look really slick. It takes a few goes to map out the room. It sucks a lot more than you think it would takes about. It does struggle in the hallway with a rug however gets the job done. It's programmed to operate twice a week I can just leave the house and not worry. It probably needs more safisticated floor and side sensors to avoid objects a lot better. I'm
Very happy with our robot. I would say its the best on the market at the moment.
Easy to set up.
Cost expensive.

Awesome for the single guy
Absolutely great so far, purchased 5 days ago and have it set to go on each morning to wake up to a clean house. This machine is very quiet and cleans my polished porcelain tiles to perfection. Was apprehensive spending so much on a robovac but the performance of the unit is justifying the money well spent.
I have read other reviews of it marking skirting boards and can say that I have no issue of this problem whatsoever, the machine rarely touches the wall
Cleans every inch of the floor space
Can tangle in cords but just tuck them into the corner and no issue

Who says money can't buy you happiness
Oh my goodness. I have also read heaps on the internet about robot vacuum cleaners and I finally bought one due to a recommendation on this model. I am very happy with it. we have all wooden floors with two cats and a wooden fire place that makes so much dust. I have a Dyson but found that vacuum everyday was doing damage and quite frankly, a pain in the neck. I was so excited. Yesterday I was doing the ironing and went to check up on the LG and it did a fantastic job. It has made this little housewife/part time worker/mum very very happ...Read more
y. Like others have said, it does make you tidier as you have to have everything off the floor. My youngest even keeps her room tidier so that it will do her room and under her bed (gives me an excuse to tell her to put nothing under her bed). I just need to convince the Teenager to keep her room tidy, but I will make her manual vacuum her room until she learns. It seems to do the whole house in one go. I just need to stop standing there watching it. :) I also was so amazed on how much it picked up. Its incredible. Now no more dust on the floor and it feels good on the feet. It seems to get quite well into corners than I thought it would too. Hope this helps you to decide on which to get. Oh also, I was blown away with how quiet it is. I have to go looking for it, it's that quiet. It has mapping. Who wouldn't like one less job to do. Sooooo incredibly quiet. Highly recommended. Will not do shaggy rugs in living room (but I believe no robot vacuum will) and seems to climb up on the feet of the bar stools and get stuck everytime so it needs help.Similar opinion? Excellent
I have read many bad reviews of robot cleaners, but I thought it would work well in our small holiday house which has a flat carpet and is all on one level. It cleans very well, and I particularly like that it gets under the beds and other furniture, which we would never otherwise reach. I am astounded at the amount it picks up after each run. When we are there a lot, we send it out twice a day, no crumbs/dirt/dust/hay - excellent.
Performs well
Have to be careful not to leave too many cords (particularly chargers) lying around, but this has made us tidier!

Wow, im blowen away at its performance and skill!
I had my doubts as to how good this machine was, but to be honest my wife and I are VERY pleased with it. It really preforms well and cuts down the time you need to re-vacuum with the "big vacuum" Top product and LG has done well.
The self diagnosis is amazing too, was acting strange and was going to take it back but the machine told me one of the ultra-sonic sensors was drity, cleaned it and was fine after that!
Its like having a extra pair of hands, Does an excellent job.
Costly, but did still get it for a good price ($899)

It keeps saying “main power switch on the back of the roboking is turned off, please turn the switch on". It is on. And I’ve tried switching it off and back on. I’ve tried cleaning all sensors and tried turning the home base off and on. Still no luck. Anyone had this issue and know of a fix?

Further comment, stopped working, gave an error message which was not listed in the book. According to Internet, other people have had this problem. It was repaired under warranty, working again.
