Had to connect to NBN so chose Mate and I am glad that I did. I have HCF connections and bought my own router. Mate organised everything with NBN for the technician to come. I configured router by myself but they do offer a help as well. It was very easy and straightforward process. Connection is stable don't have any dropouts, I choose unlimited and NBN100, on average my speed at evening is 70Mbps. When you call they very approachable. They using a lots of "mate" word

I have been with mate internet for about 6 months
I have found the service and speed to be very good.
They may not be the cheapest out there but when you speak to support, you hit an ozzie.
It makes a big difference to me to not have to battle thru a language barrier, and your keeping people employed here. For me a thumbs up

Overall a quick fast response for NBN connection. So far I am connecting at the speeds that are advertised. Signed up in the late afternoon and was connected later that night. Overall a great experience.

Was happy with the consistency of the speed and value for money, however the service didn’t end up meeting my needs.

I needed a provider with a more technical user portal where I could manage all of my needs and, where needed, troubleshoot my own connection problems.

I’d have no dramas recommending MATE to anyone looking for an affordable no frills service, just good value for money.

I didn’t need to contact tech support during my time with MATE so I can’t comment on their tech support and wait times.

it is reliable, fast and minimal interruptions, minimal down time, and the team in Mate is amazing, keep the good work going, i am hoping for more speed options is possible.

I had used other service providers and had terrible customer service and internet. I switched to Mate two years ago and have only experienced great service and internet. When I moved over to Mate, I brought my own hi-tech router, that in the past has proved to be difficult to configure, but with Mate, they provided all steps and the settings, which made the process so easy. I have never experienced internet speed issues, or service interruptions. On the one occasion, the internet did drop out while I was not home, Mate sent an update as to why and an apology. I highly recommend using Mate.

The product works.

The website is a bit awkward to use.

But their product works and is reliable and does what it's meant to do.

Their customer support is always responsive.

I'd be happy to recommend these guys, having been with them some time now.

We have had regular spooling and slowing of service most nights from around 8pm onwards. I haven’t contacted Mates about the issue yet. I am assuming it is beacause it is peak hours

After a recent thunderstorm my router started playing up. In no time they had an NBN technician out to look at my problem, then sent a new router to me & everything is working perfectly again.

Have used mate for awhile now. their customer service is friendly and they do their best to get problems fixed as quickly and as easily as possible. Their pricing is also extremely competitive. Would highly recommend.

Amazing connection easy to install and any problem I had Steve and Simon were there to resolve it, best provide and service iv ever had . Recommend them to everyone will not disappoint.

FAST installation only took a couple of hours. Free connection. No contracts or advanced billing. Phoned call centre and an Australian in Australia answered, no issues with other countries but their call centres are not good.
