Annie Katte at Thornton was very helpful with our external colour selection appointment. Very patient with us in the deciding process while still helping us achieve our end results. Annie also explained the costs involved with selections throughout the appointment.

Sarah Brokman and Lisa Johnston were amazing and held our hand through the initial stages, answering our every question and Stewart Nickissons attention to detail and communication throughout was exceptional. Codie and Sarah were very approachable and replied to all of our questions promptly. The first process of our house build ran smoothly and easily because of their assistance. We cannot speak highly enough of them!

Now that we are in our lovely new home, the results show the excellent quality. All our budget and workmanship expectations have been met and our family are excited to create a warm loving home. Stuart Nicolson has been a delight as our supervisor as he has kept us up to date and always been contactable for questions. HIs attention to detail allowed us confidence.

We would like to give a shout out to our fantastic project coordinator, Vanessa Lynch. At each obstacle you were right there to help us solve any problems to achieve our dream. You are hard working, honest and reliable and we thank you for going the extra mile to make sure that we are happy.

On Monday we completed our internal selections with Marissa. Marissa was fantastic. We were going into the day unsure with our selections and what would work. Marissa was very enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail. She helped point out some variations in our selections that we wouldn't have considered and we're ecstatic with our finished product. Would definitely recommend Marissa for anyone doing their selections.

Our process at my choice design studio with Marissa Hamling has been a pleasure to work with her. She has been so professional in selecting colours in our home, as we have changed colours and ideas in the process,she has always been there to to talk and work with us.As we are coming close to the end of our pre selection time, we would recommend Marissa for been absolutely fantastic in this process.

Our build with McDonald Jones has been a positive experience with our supervisor Kyle being just a pleasure to work with. His calm and helpful demeanour is second to none. Kyle made sure our house was built to the highest standard and if anything wasn’t up to scratch he had it redone. I had full faith that our new house would be presented very well upon completion.

We are now well into the build with the plasterboard going in at the moment. The comms with our site supervisor Max has been absolutely fantastic. He calls me at least once a week to discuss the weeks achievements and what is planned for the upcoming weeks. Fortunately we haven't lost too many days due to weather and most days there appears to be someone on site.

We are building a two story Tulloch 31 on a narrow 400 square meter block. All the builders have been great with the neighbours keeping them informed and addressing any concerns they have raised.

Tamara, took us through the Contract Signing, able to clarify any queries, excellent.

July 29th 2022 Update: External colour selections appointment

Thank you so much to Annie for making the external colour selections appointment easy to follow and an enjoyable experience. She guided us through the colours and choices and we are very happy with the end result.

We have just completed our opening stages with Mcdonald Jones, our site foreman Tommy has been extremely helpful throughout the process keeping us informed of the processes taking place and for future tasks.
We have now been handed over to a new foreman who will see the build through to the end.
