We placed an order with Nick Scali for a lounge on 31st July 2021 with an estimated wait times of 12-14 weeks at that stage, which is now overdue by 30 weeks, Oh Yes - "6 months" and is still not delivered . Have contacted customer service multiple times, but get to hear a new ETA every time we contacted them . This is the worst retail experience we have got through Nick Scali, where they haven't delivered as per the timeliness mentioned on their website including disclaimers and the worst part is that they didn't set the expectation right...
Read more by providing correct ETA to us while booking our order, so that we could have contemplated before placing an order with them . Even today the status is same - "In Transit", that is showing up for last 4 months .So tired of follow ups and highly disappointed that half of the year is gone waiting for a lounge and is causing so much inconvenience to us .

Frank called prior to arriving and was on time. He was polite, professional and able to rectify the repairs immediately.
Ordered a sofa end of July 2021 on which were given 16-18 weeks (acknowledge this may be delayed by a further 2 weeks). 20 weeks mark should be mid December. Received call that it will be further delayed to mid-January and have not received any update (not even a tentative timeline) since until I called them. On line tracking has been in transit for so long. We have been patient but the lack of update is not acceptable. We do understand there is delay everywhere but believe this has already been taken into account when we ordered plus some more. Contacted them again online and said we will be contacted but none still.

We were told on purchasing our order HD53638 that it would be delivered on 24th January. Called this morning as I have not heard anything and I’m told furniture not arriving till the end of February and probably not delivered till March. So disappointed. I always buy from nick scali but will not be again.

Purchase 2 lounges from the Watergardens store in Vic on the 31st of July 2021 which has been 'in transit' since September. Paid the 30% deposit in good faith when told that the due to covid the delivery could be delayed and will be available in 12 weeks. Its now Jan 22 and still cannot get a date for delivery from them.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!
Only purchased from Nick Scali for what I assumed was quality LOCAL products, and we assumed, when we asked for where the lounges were coming from, and the answer from the sales staff was 'Sydney' that is what we were purchasing. Unfortunately not...they are imported from Vietnam via Sydney! Well done Nick Scali, you got us...enjoy this sale because it is the absolute last from us.

DO NOT BUY from here.... Nick Scali will tell you different delivery dates at the start just to take payment. Max 13 weeks.... guess what? My sofa's ETA is 7 months and counting.
The worst part is the customer service is horrendous. Cindy snaps at you over the phone if you question the delay and says her manager's name is Daniel Daniel (which is probably false)
COVID is making deliveries difficult for everyone which is totally understandable. However, customer service, regular updates and goodwill gesture...

I ordered my sofa in August, the estimated delivery date gets pushed back again and again. Now was told it will be in late feb (they won’t update you if changes until you ask them). It will be 27 weeks of wait if my sofa actually arrives in Feb. that is more than half a year. The sales team shows zero apology regarding this……..also note they don’t refund deposit even with delay, so you are tied down waiting for the sofa that never arrives and can’t buy from someone else……. Don't buy any new sofas from them!!!! I bought a new sofa in July 2021 and the lead time that I was told is 12-16 weeks. Now it's 5/01/2022, I was told there will be one more month delay for an ETA in February. No one even informed us and we need to call them to know 3 days before the scheduled delivery day. Can you imagine you need to wait for 6 months for a freaking sofa? It doesn't have a chip inside. My advice is not to buy anything from them. They don't give a damn after you paid the deposit.

I am absolutely disgusted with your delivery service. My delivery was delayed by 2 weeks then the. The delivery driver called me 5 hours before scheduled delivery to tell me he had to deliver at 930am as the scheduled time was inconvenient for him. A later time outside of the delivery time was agreed upon. I arranged for someone to apprear at my house but he did not show up despite the deliver being confirmed. Despite relocating from overseas and spending considerable amounts on furnishing my home with nick scali furniture I will refrain from future purchases from this chain due to lack of poor service. I am still awaiting my order

At last, it was delivered last week - one of the delivery guys was not wearing a mask (so much for safety precautions from Nick Scali). Lounge fixed in about 12 minutes, guys took payment and left. We decided not to use the lounge for that day since the delivery guy was rolling on top of it.
Next day, noticed there was a faulty stiching. Called the CS straight away and the first thing I was asked was why I was reporting it then when the loung...

Nick Scali delivered an obviously used and damaged piece of furniture, without the bolts to attach the legs. The delivery guys even had two arguments whilst they were delivering. Then two days without a response from the customer service team and when I said it wasn't good enough the lady hung up on me!

Nick Scali sent email back to postpone the arriving date to 24/12/21(+8weeks).
However, 24/12/21 I sent email to require my product delivery update information. I have got the email today that my sofa will arrive on the week of 2/02/22(++4weeks).
Now, I expect that the product will arrive with quality not a ***t one. Moreover, I had read the reviews from customers, only 50% left to trust this Nick Scali brand.
I bought a floor stock item. The sales staff promised it will be delivered within 2-3 weeks time. It is the 4th week now and there is no staff bothered to follow up on it. I made several phone calls then I was told the earliest possible available delivery date will be the end of next week.
I was even looking into buy the leathered lounge from nick scali. Now I cannot imagine how long it will take as the item has to be made overseas.
How can I ever believe nick scali and their sales staff?

nick scali sell this furniture as Australian timber however it is manafactured in China to a very low standard poor mitre cuts etc

Purchased a coffee and lamp table on 28/08/21 with delivery time 12/10/20 and only purchased that model because the initial delivery date we were given was not that far. And since around the initial delivery time, they just keep changing it. Greeted those 2 delivery guys with a smile and they smile back to me ok....they keep on asking me where they will put the table as if they wanted it to just leave in front of the house.
I keep on telling them inside the house and then later on told them that they have to install it still as part of the delivery fee I paid. That time they said "Ah yeah we have to install it..." they started to become rude and care less abut the furniture. they even keep on saying Nick Scali is an Italian mafia blah blah blah and just care about the sales.

If I could give a big fat zero I would. We ordered our lounge and paid our deposit on 02/06/2021 with a delivery time of 14 weeks ( 08/09/2021), but warned some lounges were taking UP TO 20 weeks. The original 14 week delivery date passed with no communication from Nick Scali with a new delivery date. I had to make all the phones calls to find out what was happening and I was eventually given a due date being a total of 23 weeks. Read moreays after delivery the transformer on one of the lounge recliners failed. So I rang and booked a service giving them all the information they needed so it could be repaired on the day. It was over a week before someone came, looked at the lounge and said "it's the transformer" and then left without fixing it because "we don't carry spare parts" 2 days later I had to call to find out what was happening and was told they would post me the part and I could replace it myself. I refused and told them they had to change the part because I wasn't going to turn my new lounge upside down to fix it. Still no part and 28 days after the initial delivery a 2nd transformer failed. It's an $11,700 lounge, we thought we were lucky that we purchased during a 50% off sale, but didn't realise that that meant a month after delivery we would only have 50% of it operational. Numerous phone calls to the service department haven't yielded any info as to when we can expect any repairs and I'm sick and tired of being transferred around to various departments and then they won't answer the call or just hang up on youFurther to my comments above. Ordered lounge in June, we have just been told next year we may receive it. I’m quite disgusted this is beyond reasonable, countless phone calls by us, emails, even a review here we have had nothing but wrong dates. I’m so tired of this. And The Nick Scali member will reply here saying

Once an order is confirmed the delivery is done in a way that fits in with the suppliers timetable and requirements. Customer requests cannot be met in first instance. Customer needs to fit in with suppliers demands. There was no option to request a specific day/ s if week ahead of time . No understanding of fact that both adults work in roles where they can't just duck home for 2 hours . Went to Bennets green store day prior to ask again. Staff unable to contact deliverer. Deliverer called us back that night. Did not get any requests that we had made.at delivery staff kept reminding me how he had started early to please me. Guilt trip unnecessary and uneffective.
