Great customer service
I found the perfect couch in store and all the sales team were lovely, Shelley was very helpful today and I appreciated the time she took to run me through a full range of couches and prices that I could work with.
I appreciated being able to take my time and not be pressed into a hard sale.
The range is excellent at NS and I’d definitely recommend to others.

Pleasant experience buying a Lounge Suite.
We looked at several stores in order to purchase a couple of lounges. Nick Scali seemed to have an extensive range and we were very ably assisted by Jo, she was most helpful explained everything very clearly gave us the confidence we needed in purchasing our lounge room suites. Jo, we thought you were terrific and Nick Scali Furniture should be very proud and happy to have you on the sales team.

Great Range, Great Team

Great furniture
We love the furniture and can't wait for our lounge to be delivered. Hopefully all will be great, quality wise.
We found it weird that NS wouldn't discount at any time, and that all sales advertised on TV were never the big ticket couches/lounge suites. We waited 9 months for the couch we wanted to go on sale but it never did. Service was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience!
I needed a new sofa for my house and I walked in to Nick Scalli as I noticed they had a sale going on. The collection was excellent - beautiful colours, quality fabric, fancy features, and in particular, the customer service provided by Steve was unmatched. It was just a shame that the store didnt have the dark grey coloured sofa that I really wanted so that I could visualise it before purchasing. So I went for the lighter grey one instead.

Horrible pickup system
Cant choose pickup time and date you have to pickup on their time, Good luck if you planning Xmas gift will definitely get by 2025 so disappointed even cant choose to go on when we are free

Excellent customer service
The staff were helpful yet unobtrusive. They were quick to assist with swatch samples, style options and comparable products on display. Alan took our order in an efficient manner explaining all the important clauses in the order re cancellation, lead time, delivery options etc.

Good during sales, Bad after sales
While we were looking for furniture for our newly built home we had an option of either going to floor clearance of it's neighboring furniture center or buy in Nick Scali. The price were the same but it was just the choice of variety. I made the choice of going to Nick Scali and had to wait 3 long months to get it delivered before having no furniture in home even after paying full amount 3 months prior for nothing.

TROY your house. Walking all over food items, clean linen on the table, not respecting the privacy of residents of home and taking the house for granted. They throw the rubbish all along the carpets and around the house and do not do the job clean. The worst part is they only accept money in cash for delivery and DO NOT return the change. Helpful and friendly service
We received friendly and helpful service from Alan at the Springvale store when looking at different sofa options. He's been very helpful, patient and gave us great advice helping us to decide on the choice of sofas as well as the choice of colours as there were so many options available and it was hard to decide.

Faulty sofa
I went into Nick Scali on the 28/08/19 to purchase a sofa. We had had a great experience with all the staff at the store and eventually decided to purchased Volante 3.5 and 2.5 seater suite for $6024. On the 26/10/2019, the sofa's were delivered by NS movers, who were helpful with setting up the sofas in our living room.
Before i write anything further, i would like to advise Nick Scali Springvale for going a great job when it comes to their customer service, as everyone exceeded my expectation in every way possible.

Nick Scali in my situation is that the sofa suite turned out to be faulty and didn't feel like the sofa we liked in the showroom. The problem consists of: 1st. The metal component which combines two individual seats look like they are bent, causing the sofas to look disproportionate. (Please refer to the pics) 2nd. Back of my middle seat in my 3.5 seaters, the upholstery has been done incorrectly, as i have noticed that the leather covers are crooked and the black frame inside is showing out. wonderful young man who helped me with my purchase
the first time i went into your shop a few weeks ago, Steve was very nice and helpful, and so i went back in on the 11 of oct to see him again and order my lounge suite, but when i walked into the store i wasn't impressed with the young woman who dismissed me and pointed me to the service desk she was not very friendly. But then i met Mitchell, what a lovely young man, he helped me had time to have a chat explained everything to me so nicely..id go back again just to have him help me .
luckily i didn't leave because of the woman walking around looking bored and unhappy....

Rugs are shedding from Day 1 (Poor quality)
I bought couple of Leather Rugs from Nick Scali, Springvale store and it started shedding since day 1 and gradually shedding increased a lot. It got to a point that we can not even have it in our living area as it spreads the Fur everywhere so we ended up removing it from the floor . I made a complaint to Nick Scali and they sent an inspector after a month and one of the supervisors contacted me and told me that it is normal and they would do nothing about it. This was very disappointing and frustrating. You spend big $$$ for something you can’t even use for an year. Total waste of time and money.

Defect with TV unit
Bought an Agoura TV unit and Dining Set with 6 chairs. Delivered by 2 lovely gentlemen who were really careful with handling etc. Unfortunately upon unwrapping the TV unit which was the last item moved into the house, we found a defect where the surface split and lifted. I was offered to either reject the product, which would involve repacking EVERYTHING (how is this even a logical practice, Nick Scali?), or accept the items and raise this defect to customer service for repair/replacement. them uninstalling the dining set, repacking all chairs and move everything away, we reluctantly accepted the order but the delivery guy helped us to rang the customer service to start the process - which is now the biggest regret in retrospect. I was quite taken back already as soon as the call connected and the delivery guy gave the opening statement he was met with a very disrespectful response of "What? What did you guys do? What happened?" as if she OWNED the delivery staffs and quickly placing judgement. When they gave me the phone, the tone of this customer service staff was nothing less than distasteful and I felt like I was being treated as a nuisance. Fast forwarding a week and a half later, I got a call for an offer of $100 refund, $150 store credit, or I have to wait for another 2.5 weeks for service person to assess the defect and see if that's repairable, and if not, it would get replaced. Look, Nick Scali: 1. If I would want to buy a factory second or a floor stock which often contain defect(s), I would get 50 - 70% discount, so a $100 refund simply won't cut it, and to even make such offer is insulting, 2. Once again, to offer me $150 store credit is nothing better than $100 refund. After all, do you seriously think I will order more furniture with the experience/service you've provided? 3. Waiting for another 2.5 weeks for the inspection = I can't put my brand new TV on this unit. Why? Because I don't want to be moving my new TV which on and off the unit. The TV was meant to be delivered this week, but now I have to hold it off until the TV unit is sorted. So far, my experience with Nick Scali since they have collected my money has been nothing short of a disappointment.1 comment

Excellent Service
My furniture needed repairing and Carlos, the technician who came to do the repair was very friendly and professional. He rang me to see if it suited me for him to come earlier than planned and it did. He did the repair very well and now my furniture is like new, thanks so much Carlos.

3 weeks processing time to pickup a display rug which was fully paid
I have never come across such a ridiculous setup. When you buy a rug or any item in stock you'd expect to go to their loading dock and pick it up. The sales girl told me there was a long process and it has to go back to their distribution center in Dandenong south (which would take 3 weeks) after which I can go there and pick it up. They work like they were in the 1930's....no wonder [name removed] sold half his shares.

Our company policy is that no items are to leave our Showroom floors except when handled by our delivery team. This policy is in place in consideration for the safety of all our customers and staff. We take safety very seriously at Nick Scali, and as much of our range is very heavy our policy is that only those trained appropriately in heavy lifting are to move any furniture on or off our showrooms. To minimise the impact of this we offer competitively priced delivery services with trained staff. On the rare occasion that we sell an item from our showroom the delivery fee covers the item being transported back to our Distribution Centre where it is inspected to ensure it meets our standards and then delivered to your home and put into place in your room. In doing this we aim to ensure that the item arrives in the best possible condition and is handled safely throughout the process. I do understand that at times this may seem inconvenient to some and apologise for that. And while I understand that you are most likely very capable of moving the piece safely, our first priority must be safety for everyone in the store - customers and staff.
