Flimsy, poor stitching, sharp staples, foul smelling leather, damaged in transit.
We ordered an $8000 leather couch from Plush in their 50% off sale four months ago, so we paid $4500 including leather warranty. The showroom staff were polite if not a bit pushy.
Three months later the couch was delivered and it was damaged, we assume in transit. We emailed them and asked for it to be collected and for a new one to be sent - not unreasonable at that price point. They said they would send someone out to look at and fix our couch as a “warranty claim” and that person would call within two days. No one called. I followed up in ...Read more
email again the following week, no reply. We then spent a little quality time on the alleged $8000 sofa. It is so flimsy and wobbly, we bought rubber stoppers for under the legs to try to fix the issue, it didn’t fix it. I could feel my husband move his leg or arm from the other end of the couch and the back cushions go out of shape every time we used it. The stitching was of poor quality, there were sharp injury-causing staples sticking out from underneath the sofa and the leather stunk like it had been badly tanned and treated. I contacted Plush again via email stating our issues with the quality and asking for the sofa to be collected and for a refund in full. I subsequently emailed them two more times before calling them three weeks later. The customer service rep I spoke with was helpful and she asked her manager if they could refund it for us. They said they would do an extended “change of heart” guarantee. The couch was finally collected after five weeks of it in our home and after multiple emails, phone calls and threats of the ACCC. We received a refund in full within three days of collection. To summarise; The good customer service stops as soon as you hand over your money and the high quality showroom items at Plush are not the same as the low quality items that are delivered to your home. Save your time and money, don’t buy a Plush sofa.1 comment

Really Helpful
Found the service to be excellent, it wasn't rushed or pushy, just helpful and informative. Upfront about delivery times and made the ordering process easy and fast. I haven't received my product yet, but the range they had was decent, and better than I had expected to be honest

Fabulous customer service - a little luxury!!
We were thrilled with the excellent and attentive customer service at Plush Marion. Leah was so helpful - we were looking for a unique piece to fit our new home. We found the perfect chaise and it was really easy to navigate the large selection of beautiful fabrics to create our custom piece! The range was impressive but as mentioned before; the customer service was beyond amazing and people like Leah will keep us coming back to Plush in future!

West Coast Sofa Material - Don't Buy
Had a West Coast Sofa, delivered less than 6 month ago. The material is appalling in the level of peeling, requiring to be "shaved" daily so not to look a 5years old, which was not advised at time of purchase.
On contact to plush service department has been told this is acceptable and normal, and who's maintenance suggestions have been do not sit on the couch with jeans, tracksuit pants, use cushions or rugs ! Currently awaiting further responses - as the seem surprised that I do accept this as satisfactory resolution!

So thankful to have made the trip.
After months of deliberation, I took a trip across town to purchase a couch. In contrast to a lot of stores, walking into Plush I was given my own space to have a look around, but not for long enough that I felt neglected. Grant took his time with helping me decide, leaving me to mull over prices, fabrics and structure over the course of a half hour. I felt comfortable and listened to, having him take my needs on board and adjust his advice to reflect them, rather than chasing that higher price point. I'm very excited to have the couch delivered in a few weeks.

Don't buy from Plush!
We have a sofa that is just 12 months old and already the grains in the fabric have disappeared. Plush are saying their warranty only covers manufacturing faults, however their website clearly states that fabric is also covered.
As advised when we purchased the sofa, we have been using a pilling machine regularly and have cared for the sofa as per the instructions. It has taken since May for this matter to be addressed and everytime i have been promised a call i have never received one. We have now requested to escalate the matter further as ...Read more
they have informed us there is nothing wrong with the sofa and we have now been informed that they are unable to escalate the matter further! As you will understand this is not an acceptable outcome and we are now going to take the matter to Consumer and Business Services. The sofa is only 12 months old and already looks like it it needs to be replaced. I'm not sure how many people would actually buy a sofa or anything else from plush if they saw what happens to them 12 months later. I can only imagine the state the sofa would be in if we had children! As Plush feel this standard of product and service is acceptable, I would like to know if they would you be happy for one of the pictures of my sofa to be advertised in their stores, on their website or on their facebook page showing potential customers what happens to one of their sofas 12 months after purchase? Don buy any products
We bought two recliners in 2016 from Plush. After 3 years of usage lather on arm support broke on one of the recliner chairs. Plush’s experts refused to fix the problem because they said we cleaned them in the wrong way. We will never go to Plush for anything again. I spoke to consumer affairs and they are interested in this con. Do not buy any product form Plush, poor quality, poorly designed and awful service.

We love our new lounge!
My husband and I were looking aimlessly, without aim for a lounge suite that would suit us. When Catherine Aldrete-Morris saw the short and tall of the both of us, she knew exactly the furniture we were to have. We found it to be the most comfortable and so we bought it. Thank you Catherine :)
The delivery people were excellent especially when the downpour arrived. They expertly delivered the furniture inside and unwrapped it and checked the electronics of the chair before leaving.

Best Customer Service Experience
Me & the Mrs were really pleased with Carla Buschhueter attentiveness to our many questions. She knew her product from the inside out and provided us with the much needed reassurance we both needed!
She gave us honest answers, without the pressure of pushing the sale. Prompt and efficient service, will recommend her to all my contacts anyday. It is indeed rare to see such detailed customer service in retails these days. Overall an enjoyable time even we when were spending money!!!
