Very Disappointed
Very disappointed with my experience with Poolwerx Knox. Arranged for them to collect spa pump on an arranged day, note was left in my letterbox stating spa off pump taken for quote. Great I had no problem with them taking pump!! No contact from them for over a week. I called and was told pump was still being looked at they will call back that same day to confirm the outcome, that didn’t happen. I heard nothing for another week. I called again and was told the pump has been repaired & installed back to my house the previous day without my knowl...
Read moreedge. No quote provided!! No contact at all!! No permission to enter my property. I can’t believe they can go ahead and repair with no authorisation to do so. After me questioning why they went ahead without my authorisation they tried to suggest it was me that told them to just do the job (not true) even though the note in my letterbox states quote will be provided. Simply not good enough. I will not be using their service again!!!
The best service
Had our pool fully serviced by Poolwerx South Tweed heads and could not fault them. Reliable, efficient. Both men were very courteous and experienced in their work Highly recommend them for a good pool service. Priced fairly. Well done guys. Thank you.

Very Disappointed
Engaged poolwerx for a casual service and it was a complete waste of time. He said he had vaccumed the pool, which was not true at all as when I turned the pool cleaner later the same day, it picked up a lot and had to stay on. The pool remained cloudy and there was no advice on how to assist.
Regular service
We have been using the monthly service for a few years now it has been fantastic and well priced keep up the good work

Cost over A$400 for my casual pool service!
My pool has a dosing system and I only need a casual service once a year.
30 Mar 2017 - Water looks clear and healthy, requested a casual service with Poolwerx Sylvania. Done my water test & cleaning pool and sensor etc - $168.00.
Since they left, my pump start beeping and showing PH is high.
I thought the system needs to re adjust? Water has to settle? After few weeks waiting, the system still keep beeping whenever the filter was on.
18 Apr 2017 - Went to Sylvania store, agreed to rearrange another service to check the problem.

Disorganised.
South Perth area. Emailed them and they called back and arranged for them to attend one particular day. Then got a call from the franchise holder and he agreed to come at in the next morning, a day earlier than previously arranged. Great, so booked time off work etc. Manager not too impressed with short notice but went with it. But come the day didn't turn up. Rang back eventually and said there was a mix up, still had me booked in for the original day and wouldn't be able to make it today. Just not good enough so cancelled it.

Substantial overcharging at Birkdale Poolwerx
Quoted me a rate for a pool service and then charged me 3 times as much. Pool chemicals were much more expensive than at other pool servicing companies and pool stores.

Thanks for your reply but I complained about the overcharging at the time. I was told that company policy means that prices are not negotiable. As a result of that response I took my business elsewhere.

Great service
I found their service people very helpful and knowledgeable when I rang to ask some questions regarding my spa. They were happy to answer my questions which saved me a lot of time searching for answers online.

Poor Communication and Arrogant, Poor Service
Rented Investment Property:
Poolwerx Caloundra had been servicing my pool monthly for over 12 months
They Quoted $350 to replace "seals and bearings" in "noisy" Fasco Pump. I priced a new pump (same model) at $395. I could not see the point in replacing seals and bearings in an old pump that may well burn out at any time when a new pump was only $45 more than the quoted cost of repairs. I asked Poolwerx Caloundra for their best price on a pump and was arrogantly told $1100.

Just want to let people know how incompetent and unreliable [name removed] from pool werx Sherwood is, he never answers he's phone, you leave a voicemail and he does not check them and when you finally get onto him, the book of excuses comes out, I'm so busy, I'm short staffed, had a slight car accident etc. He never put enough sand into my pool filter when he installed it and it's been cloudy ever since. And in the end after waiting patiently over a week for him to come out and put the 2 extra bags of sand in the filter, I said don't worry I'll sort it out myself. Customer service 0 out of 10 and reliability out of 10 a big zero again, I would not recommend him or he's business to anyone!!!

Half assed attempt, then left it half done with full charge
6 weeks ago, we approached Poolwerx Everton Park, to get the suction problem in my pool pump fixed. Was told the problem was the pool pump, so paid $1000 to get a new one. Was eventually installed, when I went to check, found the pool pump not running, pool hose disconnected and left in the sun, with kreepy krawly head in the middle of the pool. Tried calling to find out what was happening, for a couple of weeks, no answer on anyone's phone or reply to the numerous messages left. When we eventually got a hold of some one several weeks later, wa...

Left it with them for another two weeks, no reply or phone call after numerous messages and going into the store in person. By now the pool is completely green, again, pool hose ruined from sun exposure and no kreepy krawly head to be found. 7 weeks later, after leaving more messages, the owner Andrew rings me, tells me apparently the chlorinated is now the problem. Quotes us $2000 to fix. No apology, or anything, telling us the chlorinator is the issue without even coming to look at the pool pump or anything. Still don't have the kreepy krawley head, $1000 out of pocket so far, with no change to the pool, have asked for a refund, they can have the useless pump they half installed, and was told they don't deal in second hand pool pumps. Wouldn't wish Poolwerx Everton Park on my worst enemy. Take ur cash, ignore u for months on end, won't fix anything or complete any job they've been paid to do! Honest and reliable Poolwerx Wavell Heights
I would like to thank you Poolwerx guys Wavell Heights for their services. They are very responsive and reliable. Had a problem with pool equipment on Saturday rang to ask for an advice and they have sent a technician to attend straight away. Appreciate their time and follow ups to ensure everything is working good etc. Pat and his Team are amazing bunch of people. They would not recommend unnecessary work, chemicals. Would rather try to repair if possible and worth it, instead of "replace" as some others contractors would do. Fixed pump in less then 5 hours (including removing pump from site, dismantle, cleaning replacing parts and installing back on site)!!!

Bad Service
My wife engaged the services of Poolwerx, Chirn Park Queensland after gaining quotes (3) from local providers. I only had the chance to discuss the requirements on site with the franchisee (Poolwerx Chirn Park). I found him to be polite and forthcoming with what I could expect on completion if I decided to proceed with him. The ONLY expectation on my part was the following:
" I don't care about the price, (i.e. no time wasting, just results). He responded with - "I have seen a lot worse, some with plants in them....this will not be a problem. ...

Poor Customer Service and too busy to be good.
Was recommended to use Greg at Poolwerx Mt Eliza by our Poolwerx people in Ringwood who are great however Greg seems to be just too busy to be of any service.
This is despite telling him that it's us hiring him and we will pay him and not the previous owner as we just bought the house recently BUT he was just giving one excuse after another and by then it's "I'm too busy for the next 2 weeks." A 'bad' experience with the previous owner does not give anyone the excuse to not provide service to someone else otherwise get out of the business entirely.
Don't need such people in any service industry as we won't use him or recommend him to anyone either.
Most terrible service ever....
Got John out from poolwerx penerith, took him 3 months on three separate visits to not even complete cleaning my pool. Unfortunately i paid him after inspecting pool after work dirty and he hadnt cleaned what he said he would. His service was atrocious all promises and an abosolute rip off . I called to get him to complete works no reply did the runner never again . Made quick buck but lost years sevicing this pool thats for sure.......

Brought some pool equipment in North Perth and then found that I didn't need all of it. took it back to be told no refunds. I then find the same items 30% cheaper. Will never ever shop there again don't go people shop around that's my advice
Great Customer Service
Bought a pool vacuum cleaner under the guidance of Poolwerx Killara.
Fantastic item, cleans pool perfectly, service outstanding and could not have been happier.
Checked water as we have a salt water pool.
The gentleman (Tony) was very helpful and had gorgeous eyes.

Since Poolwerx installed the Ozone Swim Purification System our pool water has never looked so good! It is amazing and the main thing is that the kids don't get sore eyes any more!

These guys take advantage of any situation.
If you have no choice but to use these thieves at the very least be sure to ask for an upfront quote before committing or better still find a pool cleaner that's honest, has some integrity and isn't out there looking for any opportunity to rip you off blind. Dirty business.

Lucky I was smart enough to realize the pool service turned into a sale pitch. After he gave up trying to sell me equipment. He said the pool had no salt and I should buy and add 40kgs of rock salt, I asked, no salt in pool? He again confirmed, no salt add 40kg. As I thought this was strange I quickly went and bought salt testers to find the salt level at 2700ppm. He never said to turn chlorinator off while adding 40kgs of salt. He wouldn't want to bill me!!

Takes your money gives no service
New franchisee in weston ACT booked to clean my pool twice pool and equipment different places. First time wanted me to pay for a clean of the pool which could NOT have been done as pool behind locked gates.
Second time gave credit card details again pool not cleaned but credit card debit used. Did get money back. Pool equipment new 2 years old installed by last franchise owner, a really nice bloke.
Can't say the same about this one.
