A year ago, October 2017, I signed my guesthouse up to be listed on the Trivago website. I paid the yearly subscription fee with my credit card. Now, October 2018, Trivago deducted the subscription fee from the credit card details provided to them a year ago. They used my credit card details without my permission. Please think twice before you give your credit card details to Trivago!

Booked cairns skyrail. Enjoyed the ride however had to share a cabin when no one had to. Made this uncomfortable for my child who already has anxiety.
Called prior to booking and was told there was a limited number of time slots so I had to book asap.
On the day rocked up ready to go just to be told to get in line.
This was not a great start to the experience that I wanted to share with my child.
That said we made the best of the situation.

Madison Spa in Moama we just tried to let them know that a Trivago search showed they were pet friendly so we enquired about that and he said we were scammers and hung up on us!!

Our stay at the Discover Park Jindabyne this ski season was so amazing we are coming back for Summer & can’t wait for next years ski season as we are staying there again. We always stay in Thredbo but the value for money and exceptional staff and facilities and easy drive up the mountain we are hooked on this wonderful accommodation. We had to change our dates and the ease that Trivago & the Discovery Park made it was exceptional, with only a $7 change fee. On arrival we were upgraded to a Superior cabin with a spa. The cabin was so peaceful and being by the river was picturesque.

Fantastic customer service professional and friendly had an amazing experience, cottages were fantastic and accomodiating for families, price was affordable and so central to everything. Will be a regular getaway for us.

Useless app only gives expensive ones it won't let me pick a suburb near where I want to go totally useless and false advertising on TV

At least the old ads were varied and you would wonder what the presenter would wear next. I thought she was annoying but now she no longer appears I realise she was quite entertaining and was far more appealing than your latest ad campaign. We have seen the same ad time and time ( and time )again since it was introduced. Do you only have one ad to show ?. Bring back the former presenter. We look forward to wondering what she will wear!!

Arrived at brooklands of mornington to find the bathroom door handle hanging off the blind that should cover the back window missing, half the crockery and cutlery missing, the bottle of water in the fridge frozen who knows how old it is.

Upon complaining i was told what do you expect you booked the cheapest most basic room on trivago !!! Where does TRIVSGO say this.

No refund/discount offered simply told do not close the bathroom door and given a black tablecloth and pins to dyi the window with no blind myself.

I would struggle to rate this place a 1.

This was a business trip one night only. It was one of the only hotels left after everything booked due to school holidays. This room cost $345for the night.
Bland, bland, bland. I was booked into an “apartment “ room. I was given access to wifi but no wifi connection! The room can’t connect.
No cushions. Bland room. No soap. Soap was attached to the wall. So 1980.
Shower is stepping into a spa!!!
So so bad. Food (room service menu was limited and bland!!!

These people are scammers. Don't bother using them. Their "prices" are always wrong or continually changing. Waste of time.

And that totally annoying woman in their TV advertisement (which is on every 5 minutes) drives me up the wall.....she's sooooo smug and self-worshipping.

We had a lovely meal here and were treated with respect and care but,the only embarrassing feature was when the Owner chastised the new Waitress for slow service in our hearing when we enquired about our requested meals order not being taken after a good half an hour......very uncomfortable for us and,the Waitress comcerned. A little more tact required in these circumstances.

Went here last week for a special dinner and it didn't disappoint. The Champagne Oysters were recommended to me by a friend and I LOVE oysters and let me say they were delicious? I could've easily eaten 12 and forgo the main!!!!
The cocktails are lovely and Mitchell will make a special one just for you? He did for me and it was lovely. Well worth a visit as it's so close to the Leisure Inn. It's in The Roche Estate off Broke Rd.

I used Trivago for the the first time (and last) and the prices on the the site always differ. for example, price of $697 and when we view the deal the price jumped to $1120!

Watched the TV add hundreds of times, needed a hotel, downloaded App, booking via HotelQuickly, so called unable to connect to hotel, no reply, no email next day, had ring bank, which took time, luckily no transaction made as yet 15 hours later, now have to keep checking my account. Rang hotel myself, got a better deal with them, no hassle....Hmmm, I think Trivago will let anyone in, more likely no checking if these companies are for real.

I used their map to find a hotel near the end of a 50km bike ride only to find that they helped me to book a hotel in a completely different town that was a 3 and a half hour drive away.

This company scrapes other travel services websites and changes 5% for every successful booking to the hotel you are booking at. You'd think seeing they are being paid for the service they would take some responsibility and care about who they let on their site? Not so- and anybody can list (scam) through Trivago. I'm down $1800 and trivago say its nothing to do with them, Its not a safe site so avoid it. Use a reputable site like Expedia or Hotelscombined. Never use Trivago

They realistically don’t get you a room cheaper. Call the hotel and tell them what hotel trivago is offering. They will probably match it and not give you a room in the Broom closet.
