Excellent customer service
We are very thankful to our sales consultant molly trapnell, her guidance from very first day is impeccable. As our block was in irregular shape and we lost money with another builder, But the day we went to see molly till now she did a great job explaining all bits and pieces which we didnt know as a first home buyer. Structural modifications as per block and as per our requirements we got everything we asked for. she did a beautiful job, me and my wife are so impressed by her skills. We are so happy with her services and will definitely recommend to all of our friends and family.

Inadequate and inappropriate Refrigerated Cooling system
Hi,
I would like to present a fair and studied view of our journey with Burbank Builders, taking you through the journey and explain the most important impact we have had with the Refrigerated cooling system:
The initial sales pitch for and the experience with Edge were are all fine. Our concerns and issues started after the construction work started.
1. The construction date was delayed for more that 6 weeks due to their internal issues and for which we were not given any satisfactory explanations.

not stick to the time line promised by him at any stage. He would confirm a stage finish date and it would get delayed by more that 4 weeks and he would be hard to communicate at all via mobile. The Altona office have the stock reply that the supervisor is busy and will get back to us. 3. The building supervisor contracted to lay tiling which was not part of the contract at all and had no knowledge of it all. It was a lack of communication between the main office and the building supervisor. 4. The building supervisor painted our special purchased door with paint and was forced to replace it after several weeks. 5. The construction was completed beyond the contractual terms of 270 days and we were paid the usual and contracted pittance of compensation which hardly covered the rent we were paying for the temporary accommodation. 6. The hand-over: Totally unprofessional - The York Refrigerated cooling system was not commissioned even of the day of hand over which would hit us like a tornado in the hot summer months to come. The most obvious visual inspection denial by the building supervisor. The wooden floor on the rumpus area in the first floor was not flat and we pointed out the wavy section which was totally denied by the building supervisor and he even went on to state that if the floor has to be repaired the hand over will delayed by a few more weeks. In sheer despair we stated the flaw in the hand over report and took over the house. 7. Continuing with the wooden floor issue we took it up with the warranty department and when of their own maintenance engineer turned up he was shocked how the QA of Burbank could pass the wooden floor with such a defect. The whole of the wooden floor of the room was replaced much to our discomfort by not being able to use that room and the adjacent rooms for almost a week.

Edge experience & colour selection
I had my colour and electrical selection appointment in edge studio and it was one of the best experience. Interior designer(Cacie) and electrical consultant(Ana) helped us a lot to choose the excellent colour and designs for my home!! I’m extremely happy with the way it is progressing and one more thing I wanted to call out is, in Burbank we had luxury to go and spend as much as time we want in edge studio on weekends browsing session!! Amazing Customer Service.

Wonderful service
I am very pleased with the end result of my house and importantly with the people I worked with in Burbank .
It was my first build but Tim Mcgrath, Samantha Gorlin and Danielle Riosa made the whole process easy. Sam walked me through the steps and kept me aligned with details. Tim kept me abreast with the progress and articulated every milestone of the build. Danielle was very professional and guided me up to handover.

When reading the reviews on Molly we had to see for ourselves . Honest and tended to our capabilities.
We visited the Burbank homes in Cloverton Display Centre. Loosing hope on any possibilities of building a house given our relatively tight budget. However, after stepping in and asking a few questions it was apparent that Burbank was approachable. Peter Panagiotidis was very helpful to us as well. Understanding the situation, and tending to our needs in recommending the necessary upgrades for the house we chose. He has tried his best to give us all he can. Honest communication between Peter and us so far has lead to a very pleasant and easy road to building our desired home.
Me and the rest of my family are very satisfied and are looking forward to working with Peter and Burbank in the future!

A pleasent experience
I recently completed the construction of an investment property in Mickleham. Burbank was picked because they had the design we wanted. I was really impressed by the professionalism shown by them specially by Danielle who handled all the admin work. Welldone Dani, Rob & Scott . Amazing service
From the very beginning I had a good feeling about Arun. He has been open and honest, informative, with a gentle approach. We have never been made to feel stupid with the little knowledge we have. Final product is yet to be delivered, so no comments yet!!! In a summary, don't go with burbank if you believe in systematic and pragmatic building approach with integrity & transparency. If you can spend bit more, I would recommend to go with Carlisle, Simmonds or Metricon to get what you agreed/paid for. It will be better to get info on quality and cost upfront than later. 1) 6 site supervisors been changed since my house build.
2( charged me premium price and crap quality material been used, 6 months into my brand new house, aircon doesn't work keep pushing me to speak with aircom company, still no solution is been provided.
3) misguided and trap me into contract!

I would highly recommend Burbank to anyone looking for a new home builder. From start to finish the staff have been great. The sales team in Ballarat were great. The New Home Consultant and the staff at Edge selections were fantastic. Very helpful and supportive. 2. Project Management: 3 different site supervisors. The first site supervisor seemed keen and engaged yet after a short while, his updates and communication became non-existent. By his estimate the house was supposed to be completed around Christmas 2018 and then site supervisor changed. The second site supervisor came in but was only in place a few weeks. Then had a third site supervisor and was the same as the previous two, each of them complained about not having handover and the poor job of the previous one which was great excuse not to do anything and delay more time. The process was painful with limited updates. The contract stated delivery of the house no later than 270 days. The final delivery ended up being 7 weeks later than the signed contingency date for which Burbank had to pay us 7 weeks towards rent. The delays caused our family to change travel plans, inconvenience around rental property and above all not having the opportunity to enjoy the house on time. So, the minimal weekly payment is worthless. There is absolutely zero governance on their sub-contractors. We raised the question to Burbank because tasks needed to be repeated a few times because they weren't right the first time and Burbank never governed them on the spot. The response from last site supervisor was that they are not my sub-contractors, they are 1st or 2nd guys and we sign with them to complete the job to pay them so their cost. That may be the case but the impact is on us not them with sub-par work and delayed timeline. 3. Communication: The sales communication was organized with readily available documents, FAQ packages and good sales pitch. They were supportive until all is signed when they handover to the build team. The communication with site supervisors was almost non-existent. So many times chasing over phone or email and so many times no response. We had to take pictures during build and escalate through the sales team to the regional office. The sales rep was stopping by the property weekly to report no progress where the site manager was reporting progress is per timeline. 4. Handover: Handover had a lot of issues. Getting the house keys after making the final payment at the Melbourne Office and finding that we could only access the house through the garage door because none of the other door locks worked and an open drain in the backyard that we needed to board over so our dogs didn't fall into. After chasing and chasing both the office and site supervisor these were finally fixed 2 months after we moved in. We signed to close and got to property where the oven was not installed or tested, and also the boiler system was not working. The state of cleanliness they left the site and the house in was terrible. Wood shaving where they had cut holes for the oven, dirty windows, nails, rubbish all over the site. They rush things and towards the end after tons of bad taste and experience with them, we just wanted to be over and to not have to deal with them anymore. 5. Quality of Work: So many issues with the quality of the build including: a. Front door doesn't sit flush draft comes in b. One of the bedroom doors is not closing as it is not mounted straight c. The drains were blocked with cans and rubbish etc. they had to flush them twice to fix it d. There are marks, grout smears and paint splashes, unfinished trim etc. Burbank does not pay attention to detail. Summary: The overall experience has been very frustrating seeing other plots with other companies being completed long before ours and with decent quality and no complaints. The worst was that once it was handed over no one wanted to know about the issues still outstanding, so many phone calls and emails and passed to so many people to get them to do anything. We have provided very honest feedback at the closing for their internal review which they never responded to. Burbank does a very poor job with project management, very poor quality of work and absolutely unprofessional support. We will never ever again build with Burbank; and certainly, do not recommend them to anyone. We are going to attach some pictures, and feel free to review as well. Good and pleasant experience
It was a pleasant experience dealing with the sales person Ilona and then Emmaleigh. They were very helpful and accommodated all my house requirements for a new home.
The build was completed quickly and the building supervisor Caelin was always in touch. Provided us with the updates and was always available for any site visit.

They are pretty good but after handover I have seen not much support when you need it.like I have few issues after handover but seems no body cares.there inspectors won’t approve your minor issues by giving some points which we don’t even know about.
They will just make some reason by saying you’re contract doesn’t say this or that..

Re: Job 13923 in Point Cook.
Our house took 18 months to compete with 4 site supervisors and issue after issue after issue.
There are pending defects that need to be rectified as per PCI during handover and the site supervisor is not showing much interest. I asked the leftover hard rubbish to be removed which was simply dumped on the opposite vacant block so I had to have it removed at my own expense because the don’t want neighbours to think that we are illegally dumping rubbish.
Could you please assist us in rectifying pending defects so it does not affect our review to be left soon on this website? Thanks

The defects are not part of the maintenance but they are items the PCI and during handover they are also noted on the PCI sheet and the site supervisor was suppose to fix them. Warranty team will knock it back and will advise me to follow up with the site supervisor. This is our second house with Burbank and I am aware of the processes. Could you please follow up with the constructions manager? We are really frustrated coz we are just stuffed around by Burbank and there is no one who is helping us. We waited 18 months for the house and we are still chasing Burbank to fix the defects, it is disappointing.
