The details of my policy seemed to cover my needs. So far I haven't needed to make a claim & so I am unable to say what rating I would have given if I had.

We required full pregnancy coverage whilst traveling abroad. Columbus met all our requirements when other insurers couldn't. Great customer service and quick turn around with a detailed quotation. Highly recommend.

Value of policy is average compared to others, so was considered ok for value. Was easy to set up after we worked out how to set the choices for a local area cruise. We finally decided to go with Columbus as it was underwritten by Lloyd's, who is well known in the industry.

Have used Columbus quite a few time over the past ten years. Have not had any bad experiences in that time. If the situation ever arises when I do need to make a claim...Lets hope all ends well for me.

Only hiccup was that I entered the age of one of the insured as at the time of the trip, as they have a birthday next month and then it rejected the date of birth and had to go back and reenter.

I was so pleased to come across Columbus Travel Insurance. I am an Australian Senior who had a cardiovascular stent 4 months ago. Apart from that I am healthy & active. My usual insurer would no longer insure me & others charged a huge additional premium which made it unaffordable. Columbus covered my health condition at a premium that was affordable for good cover. Easy to do online including medical check.

We wanted a policy that covered the little things that our credit card insurance didn't and Columbus was it. It was easy to see the benefits and sign up. Thankfully we didn't need to use it but had peace of mind if something happened we were covered.

Easy to buy it online and when I called the centre regarding my 457 visa they were amazing and answered to the point.

Selecting the policy and paying for it was easy - but, as with all things, the proof will be if and when we need to make a claim. Hope it doesn't come to that. I've been burned by insurance companies before (not travel insurance), so I am wary. The experience up until now has been good - if it all goes south with a claim, I'll be back on here quick smart to revise my assessment.

NO! I am a life time member, I called approx 2 months ago to get advice should I wait just before I travel to pay renewal and if my 20% disc will be still valid. The girl I spoke to advised its better if I wait and she will record the conversation and my 20% discount will be on offer. I called to renew last week, the person I spoke to refused to give me discount.
