Zero marks for communication!
Booking online was easy, but then very unprofessional communication on docs required to confirm booking. Kept asking for more docs as each doc was provided! Will not be using again.

Worst customer service
They issued tickets for our family of 2 adults, 2 kids and one infant without waiting for our email reply to correct missing details in the name, and when I raised the matter they cancelled the ticket of infant (and Dad) instead of making corrections, leaving us in a position where we could not travel as a family. They refused to reimburse and wasted too much time back and forth defending and covering themselves up. I would highly not recommend this travel agent. I travel frequently and this is the worst experience I have ever had and I felt the need to warn others.

They're Australian :)
I used a search engine which can be fraught with redirections to sites that look 'Australian' with ".com.au" in the address, but are sometimes not, and therefore end up with extra fees such as currency conversion for one...It was a lovely surprise to find this was not the case and everything about the purchase etc has gone without a problem and a very competitive price

Very Easy process
Website was very easy to use to create a multi city trip and find dates with cheapest fares. Used electronic funds transfer to pay for tickets, received immediate email specifying tickets would be released once funds received from our bank and 2 days later we had our tickets. This has been a very easy process. Would book again with Direct Flights.

ID Verification Farce
Granted, the booking process was easy and the flights were competitively priced. I had no issue with booking or receiving my ticket. The issue I have is after the fact, I was reviewing the email a few days later to confirm dates etc and noticed the verification link and subsequent email indicating my ticket was not actually released until I verified my ID and payment method. Flight numbers and times changed
The booking process was very clear and smooth but when I paid I realised that the times and flight numbers of 2 flights were different from the initial page ( it meant I was 4 hours instead of 2 in a smaller airport and had very little time for the next connecting international flight). That is not appreciated and I will think twice before trusting the conpany again.

Fast response
Only problem was linking my FF number with the booking. Called for help but I had to go through the airline in the end. Process otherwise was simple and booking confirmed quickly. I've used DF before and will again.

Excellent responsiveness to my issue
Really supportive team with excellent responsiveness to customer service issues. I had made a complete mess of my initial booking and had to contact the team to help me rebook - it was a seamless experience and they took good care of me.

Extremely easy

Speedy service without hidden cost/charges.
I found the company via Skyscanner, it offered very speedy service and an excellent flight price. There wasn't any hidden cost/charges like some other web based travel agents do, it charged exactly what it had claimed on the first place.

Great service works so well.
They got me the exact flights I needed for a multi city airfare, where my travel agent was unable to. So happy it saved me from a 19 hour layover.

I would give a negative star if i could. I bought a ticket through them and needed to make EFT payment then realised it may takes days to processed in order to get it into their account so called up to get a new payment link. Got it, made payment, said that person paying is not the passenger and will need to verify ID? What in the world do you need to verify ID to get payment. Don't fall into this and regret: Extra sensitive documents asked AFTER the purchase
I purchased the ticket for my father who is hurry to be back to Hong Kong due to nanny's critical condition in the hospital. For the past experience, we had no issue of my father using my email and phone number of contact when purchasing since he barely can speak any English. I contacted the company and all they said they will get back to me, and my concern is my father's flight will be on Monday morning, there is not possible for us to go to the bank, ask for a bank statement and send the details to the company before our flight on Monday. My only difficulty experienced was with a different travel consultant to the one who organised my flights .
The other person had incomprehensible english and when I asked for the agent who was previously dealing with me the incomprehensible agent hung up on me .

Easy and great price!!
I booked a multi - City flight and they had the cheapest prices on the flights I wanted.
After they had to confirm my documents for my credit card I got the tickets the same day.
On the ticket it has the booking for the actually airline so I was able to manage my booking through the airline I am flying with and change my meals etc. as I forgot to book vegetarian.

Terrible experience .
Very vague information was given about flight change fee, very poor customer service, i booked return tickets for three passengers with Singapore airline through direct flights. Very poor management and customer service. Terrible experience in changing my tickets. Six days and i am still waiting for management to provide me replacement tickets on agreed fare. Will not use this service in future and would not recommend at all.

I sent.them.about 40 emails and called at least 4 times before they relented. They have the absolutely worst service I've ever encountered. All I can say is persevere. I submitted a complaint to Dept of Fair Trade which thankfully I withdrew today. Best of luck Mandy. You'll need patience and.persevereance

I've been chasing you guys (after you ignoring my emails of falsely promising to get back to me ASAP) now for 2 and a half weeks regarding refund for the tickets you sold me with now defunct airline (over $1,300). As a long term (till now satisfied) customer (I have been purchasing several times from you over the number of years) I find this appalling and I would at least expect you keep me posted about the process, next steps etc. I hope I will be hearing from you at some stage.

Ive had exactly the same experience with these guys. The service is terrible. Either they dont pick up their phone, or they tell you they will get back to you and never do.

Never have I ever...nor should you ever with any company...especially one you are unfamiliar with...not with flight network, BYoJet, momondo...not a one request this and say you can't have your tickets unless you produce them through an email AND after they take your money. I better receive a full refund and I certainly won't use them again
